Visited August 2015: «Mom & Pop Ice Cream Parlor» We came to Superior for their Prickly Pear Festival, and was told by a guide at Boyce Thompson Arboretum that one establishment would be serving prickly pear ice cream. We located Felicia’s Ice Cream Shop, and I got my son a scoop of prickly pear ice cream for $ 3.50. It was probably more like 2 scoops but not sure if it was worth the price. The ice cream parlor also didn’t take anything except cash. There was minimal seating at the large counter, and nothing outside. The ladies weren’t that friendly, and the counter where we sat was sticky. There was a wonderful mosaic mural on the wall, and some old photographs on another.

The original reviewer must not have understood the Pinal County Food Safety ratings. And E stands for Excellent and Felicia’s Ice Cream Shop still has an EXCELLENT rating in 2015. They deserve it. The shop is clean and the food was good. They make excellent root beer floats and they have a good variety of ice cream flavors. What is truly amazing is their Cinnamon Milk Sno Cones. Their secret recipe for those is delicious. Highly recommended for anyone that stops in Superior, AZ.

Only E rated restaurant I have ever seen much less been in. I didn’t even notice the rating until we were nearly done eating. Glad we didn’t get sick.
