Excellent Machaca. Lot of favorable food for the money. The tacos were full of seasoned shredded beef, not ground beef. Good homemade food.

Love it — tasty and inexpensive. The cheese enchiladas were gooey and delicious. We stopped in after visiting the arboretum nearby and we’ll be back.

Best food in Superior! Stopped by here on the way to my grandmas house and I’ve never been a fan of any restaurants on this strip. But I was with the parents and they recommended this place, and I was impressed that there was nobody here on a Sunday afternoon! Service has been known to be very slow with the food coming out. But I assure you it’s worth the wait! It’s as if they make every plate from scratch when you order. It came out delicious! Tamales were perfected, tacos were crunchy and fresh, and the cheese enchiladas were devine! Chips were fresh and warm, with some super yummy spicy salsa. They have all kinds of good drink choices like horchata! It was a great visit. Highly recommended if you can wait a little bit! Service was awesome and very friendly.

Food was surprisingly delicious and very reasonably priced! I highly recommend this little hole in the wall if you find yourself in Superior.

I was excited to try this place! But I’m definitely not coming back. The food was homemade and flavorful, but got fried sitting under a heat lamp(not a big deal, accidents happen). I had beef enchiladas, and if the beans and sauce hadn’t been burned dry, it would have been pretty decent. Maybe 3 or 4 stars. The thing that killed my review though was the service. The server was in a huge hurry to get our table and told us to pay up front. We were ok with that, we’re fast eaters. But when we went to the front to pay, she ignored us for over fifteen minutes. Instead she bussed our table and sat the next people. We made eye contact, she saw me take out my credit card. She bussed 3 more tables. Then she went to the back and started washing silverware! The busser behind the counter was even worse. I asked«is this where I go to pay» and the guy behind the counter said«yeah.» And continued to clean as though I wasn’t even there. I asked if there was anyone that could cash me out and he shrugged me off. At this point a line started to form because no one was being cashed out. I have never in my life considered walking out on a meal, but I was almost tempted. After about 20 minutes of awkward standing, with 5 other agitated patrons behind us, we were finally permitted to pay. The kicker? The sign that said«no, we are NOT hiring.» Either they are far far too busy for their current staff to handle, or they just have no interest in customer service. Either way, I won’t be trying them again.

Best Mexican food in Superior. Yeah it’s not fancy but who cares — it’s like eating your abuela’s home made food in the kitchen.

Really nice! We enjoyed hot & tasty green chili burros enchilada style. Great topper to a lovely trip to Boyce Thompson Arboretum!

I decided to try this restaurant after passing by it several times over the years. I am glad I did. First, let me just say the iced tea was AWESOME! I just love fresh brewed iced tea. Service was also awesome — promptly greeted and really nice folks. The restaurant was fairly clean, also. Now to the food. I had a number 1 plate. Taco — excellent, tostada — very good, cheese enchilada — good(would have been better with more onion and more sauce). Salsa and chips were definitely very good, but I was hoping they would have more than one salsa to try. Overall, an excellent, hidden gem that makes going to Superior a great lunch or dinner trip!

I used to eat here A LOT. Probably too much for my own good at times. It is true Mexican food, the owner has held these recipes for a while. The tamales are to die for, and are to date the best ones I have had. Soups are awesome as well, and the whole line-up on the menu for that matter gets high ratings. Tacos once again are fresh, and the meat is delicious. From memory, I never once left Casa upset or not full. The recipes that are used are almost always handmade and fresh, which goes to show how good Mexican food can truly get when a restaurant actually makes it fresh. Once again, really tasty food. Albonigas and Posole really stand out as good flavored soups… yum! …BUT… In the end, the food is amazing, but docking it a star because of its location, which is wretched. Sorry, but location seriously counts when wanting to go eat out… And Superior is about as happening as playing with a cage full of rabid wolves. Also its the drive, a little less than an hour from my place. I am not driving 1 hour for food, let alone to a town like Superior. Also, being in a lower income area, you would come to expect a not-so-nice interior, which Casa does have. There is no real thought put into the decoration, and the ambiance of Casa screams«Take-out, please!» Thus: four star review! Best thing about the town was this joint, but its not worth driving up to Superior just to eat here. If you’re in Florence or Globe, different story. And no, its nothing against Casa… they were always delicious, best Mexican Food I have had in years. But, not going back unless I am in the general vicinity of Superior, which is doubtful…

This place is not that much visually appealing. However, their chorizo is fantastic! The breakfast burritos are cheap and delicious. Best deal around.

Pretty disappointed. The food was hot sure, and the refried beans had flavor, but that’s about it. The floor was filthy, the waitresses were not attentive at all, and the food had absolutely NO flavor. Thumbs down. The prices were fair but it just wasn’t worth it since there wasn’t anything enjoyable about it at all.

A fine way to end a day after visiting Boyce Thompson Arboretum. Superior is just 3 miles away… The food was delicious and hot. The homemade tortillas and salsa(a bit spicy) and chips were wonderful. We enjoyed the cheese enchildada and bean tostada… hot and tasty. The chile rellenos were super. The place, a dated drive-in style building, was packed with locals. Our sever was quick and attentive. The prices were fair. The floors were a little dirty but they were sweeping as we were eating… what more could you ask. We will definitely visit here again.

The food was really good. Very authentic mexican food. Everything tasted fresh. The tostadas were still warm when they brought them out to our table. Food was delicous. The bad thing about this place is the price and since its family own the waitresses are little lazy. I guess their not worried about getting a good tip.

I was driving through Superior on my way up to Globe and I was hungry. It was breakfast time. Driving along 60, I saw about four police cars parked in front of Casa Denogean and thought«that’s the place to eat in Superior.» I was not dissapointed. I had the #14 breakfast(I think) — eggs, tortilla, chorizo, etc. They also serve the Kirkland green tea that tastes just like Japanese green tea. The chorizo was spectacularly yummy. It was an all-around excellent breakfast. If you’re in Superior and you’re hungry, try this place — and get the Chorizo!
