Where have I been and how did I not know about this place until yesterday? I found out about it on a fluke and man oh man am I going back again and again and again. I had the mushroom swiss burger and you will not believe the flavor! My friend had a gargantuan walleye sandwich which was flaky and juicy, not with that dirty taste you usually get from restaurant fish. Those homemade chips are phenomenal. To be sure this is a café but it’s comfortable and just fine if you’re not too snooty about your surroundings. Friday night fishfry? Saturday night prime rib?

One of the best breakfasts I have had. It is a relatively small neighborhood restaurant off the beaten path. Excellent value, great food. I will come back here the next time I visit Duluth. It is worth driving out of the way.

Great Food, Big Portions & Cheap Prices!
My daughter & I stopped here on a whim and its a modest cute little place but we really enjoyed the food. My daughter got 1 pancake which was $ 1.50 and it was thick and bigger than a regular sized dinner plate! The most massive pancake I’ve ever seen! She only ate half of it (shes 4), so I ate the rest. I got the mushroom, swiss & gravy burger which was also HUGE and very very good! Real, large portabella mushrooms were loaded onto the burger and the gravy was great! Thats the first time I’ve ever seen gravy on a burger. Very creative and good! Fries looked and tasted homemade, also excellent! Would recommend this place!
