I LOVE Abo’s pizza! My children love it too:) whenever we order from here we always get our pizza delivered quicker then the time they give us on the phone! Once we get it, it’s always hot and fresh and needs a little cooling off before eating.

Tried calling them tonight and the phone number listed didn’t work after many attempts. Therefore, I had to call somewhere else to get pizza tonight. Disappointed.

Best NJ/NY style pizza in Colorado. This location in particular offers a very friendly ownership/staff. It is always a tasty treat and a fun experience to eat at Abo’s in Superior. Thanks for the many years of great food and service.

I tend to measure the quality of a pie based on how close it comes to what you’d find on the East coast and Abo’s is a local Colorado chain in the Boulder area that comes the closest to matching NY style pies. This particular store in Superior offers the same brand of tasty pies, featuring thin crust and a tangy sauce with generous cheese and toppings. The owners of this ‘franchise’ are very dedicated; rarely do I ever see anyone else behind the counter or delivering than«Liz» or «Curtis», respectively, and they take their craft seriously. Does not really have many fun features for dining in, particularly with kids but I highly recommend this particular store for take out or delivery.

Best pizza in Superior/Louisville. They out-do themselves and all the other pizza places in the area. Who cares about take and bake. who cares about chains… and who cares about the overpriced DD’s when you can have Abo’s. They make one killer NY Style Pizza(coming from someone originally from the Northeast). Service is always friendly, welcoming and they go out of their way for you. Try ‘em!

Great little by-the-slice place. Stopped in for a slice and ended up getting seconds. Good food. Good people. Good service.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. The place was quiet. Well ordered a slice of cheese and pepperoni. I am not a fan the pizza just tasted blah. There was not much flavor and the cheese did not seem regular. It certainly was not oozing. The one good thing was the service. They were really nice there but the pizza just did not sit right. I only ate a few bites of each slice. :(I couldnt go back to work hungry

Stopped by here at 12:15 on a Sunday afternoon. Lady parked right in front of the business is just getting out of her car. She says she’ll open in 10 minutes. I had seen another review that said they were closed at 8pm on a Tuesday. Really? If you cannot open and keep regular hours, then shut your doors permanently. What an embarrassment to the Abo’s franchise! Abo’s is awesome, but not this one.

Delicious sauce & crust… And everything! Used GPS to find from Petsmart. Wandered around in residential area nearby. Almost gave up. Back where we started. There it was two doors down(next building) from the pet store!!! So glad we found it! Yummmmmm!

I’ve only been inside this location once, but we often order it in for lunch at the office. Overall, I think of it as a ‘slice’ to go — very basic — pizza place. That is until this week. We ordered a dozen pizzas this week and it occurred to me that these are really quite good. I don’t know why it took me so long to figure it out, but when you order it and not just stop in for a slice, it kills Black Jack and Dominos. The pies are loaded with vegetables and/or meat with a very nice amount of cheese — I love cheese. Give ‘em a try and you might be quite surprised.

I frequent this place regularly for lunch as it is near my office. Simply put, this is a great place to get a slice of pizza. The pizza is always hot and the slices are big. It is a comfortable place to relax and enjoy your slice, always clean and inviting. What separates this place from others is the ownership. As mentioned by the other reviews, it is the little things that make this place special. It is obvious that the ownership takes pride in the business. They also take the time to get to know their customers. This pizza parlor demonstrates the importance of supporting locally run small business.

I grew up outside Buffalo. Seems like pizza was a once-a-week dinner for us. I also did plenty of consulting work in Manhattan Financial District, where the best breakfasts are at a streetside bagel cart and the best lunches are going out for a «slice». Abo’s does pizza right. Liz and Curtis have been working their tails off to keep this place going, and we support them whenever we can. They take the time to get to know you and your family. As you can see from my other posts, this is important to me. I go in to bring pizza home, and they tell me how to order it just the way my wife wants it. They regularly give special gifts to my children. Frequent their place, get to know them, they’ll give you good food at a reasonable price and you’ll have a genuine experience with small business owners that live in your community.

This may be the best«slice» I have gotten in Colorado. Not the best pizza, not the best«just like I had in ___» pie, not the best pizza napoletana, but… the best SLICE of cheese pizza I’ve had in recent memory. Perfectly cooked, topped just right, BIG slice. and I think a lot of that has to do with the best pizzaola I can think of to ever make and serve a slice. Her name is Liz and she rocks a pizza. If you go to any other Abo’s you might have a crew of either clueless, just out of or still in their teens, or one of those guys with an attitude that plainly says. «you the customer are a lesser human being and you should feel lucky that I’m even lowering myself to serve you». Liz took our order as she made a pie, told us our cheese slices would be right out because she had a fresh pie already in the oven, served the restaurant full of folk, WIPEDTABLETOPS, checked that pie one more time, brought our hot slices to the table and said, ‘Watch out, they’re hot!”, told the high school kids with two pies on their table that if they wanted her to warm up some of their slices it would be no problem, … well you get the picture. Just awesome. Thanks Liz.

Cardboard topped with too little of their boring sauce, and bland cheese. I blame the altitude, so I don’t feel so bad how much I dislike this pizza. Years of late night drunken slices won’t ingratiate themselves to me for a better review… it wouldn’t be right. You are not getting this pizza because you are sober, let me tell you.

This location is somewhat hidden and doesn’t get as much traffic due to the location. But it’s a great place to grab a slice of NY style pizza. The ingredients are fresh and it tastes like how pizza should taste. And no, Pizza Hut doesn’t compare. UPDATE: Lately I have noticed that they are somewhat skimpy on their ingredients. Ask for more! Cheese and tomatoes must be expensive in Abo’s world.
