Patricia has been cutting my hair for years and she is the only one I trust! I moved out of town and tried getting a trim at a local salon and it was terrible. I came down to Miami and Patricia got me in and was able to fix it without losing too much of my length. She really saved the day! I still come to town several times a year to get my hair done with her. I have also had several keratin straightening treatments, which are amazing! If you want an excellent haircut, hair treatments, and hair care and makeup advice with a skilled and knowledgeable professional then, Patricia at Edward James is who you should call!

I was looking to change hairdressers and always wanted to try an AVEDA salon. I had always heard about their great products and knew of one near my house and one day decided to just walk in and enquire. I’ve now been a regular customer for 2 years my stylist is wonderful (Ms. Taryn) always gets the color on point the highlights were the perfect shade and the cut is always right. the ambience is very friendly, always look forward to my complimentary cup of hot tea to sip while I relax. highly recommend it if you’re looking for a change or simply need a good quality hair stylist! Taryn is an excellent stylist. She knows what she’s doing and it shows in the finished product. I always leave her chair happy! The salon is clean and modern. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. It’s a great salon!

Talking with the receptionist, Claudia and having her make my first appointment with a master stylist Patricia, I was not disappointed. Claudia was not only very helpful and efficient but was also very nice to talk with. Patricia was excellent in everything she did. From the consultation, scalp massage to the fantastic haircut and styling, the service was wonderful. Patricia took the time to find out what I wanted and how I took care of my hair. She explained the Aveda products she was using on my hair and did not try to push me into buying any of the products (I did buy some products however because I like them). My family noticed my new style right away and commented on how they thought it was one of the best styles they have seen on me. I come from a family of men and they very rarely notice these things, so their comments meant a lot to me. THANK YOU PATRICIA!!!

Just moved here from out of state and needed to look professional for job interviews. I found Edward James Aveda Concept Salon. Everyone here is extremely friendly from the moment you walk in the door as you get greeted to when you leave. It’s a very relaxing comfortable clean environment. Sayuri did my hair and she did an amazing job! She knows exactly what you want listening to what your style is. If you want someone who is easy to talk to, friendly, and will give you a outstanding stylish haircut then ask for Sayuri.

I absolutely love this salon and all the staff. They are so sweet and Taryn does a fabulous job with my hair. I haven’t gone anywhere else since first coming here.

I love this place. Patricia has been cutting my hair consistently for over 6 years. She is fantastic. I completely trust her to keep me looking sharp. I had struggled to find someone that could consistently give me a good haircut, and she has always delivered. She used to get aggravated because when she would ask me how I wanted it, I would just tell to use her best judgement– I trusted it that much. (Now she just goes to work and let’s me know when anything will be different).
I also love that Claudia calls me to remind me of my appointmentments, and that rescheduling, when necessary, is a breeze.
I’m not a big product guy, but I do like the Aveda product. Broke down and got the rosemary mint shampoo once, but liked it too much and used it too fast. The pomade is absolutely the best I’ve ever used. Far better than any of the axe line, and it last me 3X longer.
The Aveda tea is also nice. Claudia or Patricia always bring me a cup when I get there.
Also factor in the fact that I get two scalp massages– one with a little oil before the shampoo and one during the shampoo– and I cannot fathom ever going anywhere else.

I have frequented Aveda Salons in St Petersburg, Fl. And in London, England. Edward James Salon is a professional salon following the excellence of the Aveda brand. The staff are courteous and friendly.
My stylist, Mavis, is a talented colorist and stylist. I recommend the Edward James Salon.

I’m relieved to find a nice salon with a stylist I like so close to my new house. I loved my old salon and stylist up in Pembroke Pines/​Miramar, but it was just too far of a drive now that I live farther south.
Taryn, you my boo, boo.
That being said, the salon could use some better lighting and maybe a few candles/​air fresheners. Ambiance is somewhat less than perfect, but I’ve seen a lot worse.
Prices are also more than reasonable. Natural products, lovely company, good customer service, close to my house. Need I say more?
