Rod (the owner), who has been in the appliance repair business for more than 30 years (and in the Bend area for 17), impressed us from the first moment of contact. Not only did he arrive exactly when promised, but he even phoned ahead to confirm he was en route. Rod identified the problem with our freezer in 5 minutes, and resolved it in a mere 20 minutes — all the while sharing information about our Whirlpool appliance, and providing names of other technicians who he recommended for non-​Whirlpool machines. We will not hesitate to call him again as needed, and recommend him to others without reservation.

Rod has worked on several appliances for us over the past few years, including washer, dryer, freezer, and ice machine. He always manages to get them running again and not just temporarily. He is professional and honest. He shows up when he says and calls if he is running late.
This latest visit, we had pre-​paid him for some work. This was our choice, he needed to order some parts because our washer is so old and we went ahead and paid him. (He did not ask us to.) In the end it took less time than he thought and he told us so and gave back the overpayment. We would not have realized the difference, but the honesty was very much appreciated.
We highly recommend him!
