U-Haul Moving & Storage of Sunrise

rented a truck for 1 day. was movineg1 bed 1 tv and a couch less than 5 miles .we anticipated 10 miles round trip at the most. u haul charged me for the for the 10 miles plus extra miles adding up to over 25 miles total. spoke to the mgr at u haul at just wanted the extra charges removed. i gave the girl the 2 addresses and she looked it up. she said maybe i took more than 1 trip. i told her that was not the case. its not a lot of money but the principal. she said the persons mileage before and after were correct and she refused to adjust the extra 23.00 she then said i did not leave the gas the way i took it. she argued with me until i said i will dispute the charge with my bank and she lots a customer. please avoid using this u haul. there customer service i the worst

Wow, worst business I have ever given money to in my life. Had a storage unit with my household belongings for 9months, went to move my stuff out after getting a place only to find half my unit in puddles of water. My things were water damaged and covered in mold. Got the manager «Hildegard Sargent» immediately and she apologized profusely and pointed out an AC unit next to my locker that leaked. She sent me to their insurance company to make a claim, my claim was denied because «Uhaul could not foresee the mechanical failure». Asked for my monthly fees reimbursed and they gave me a 1 – 888 number where I spent 3 hrs trying to get a resolution. Sent an email to «Hildegard Sargent» for them to refund me and she never responded. Guess that was a fake apology when she looked at my damaged items. Went to the sunrise location to talk to someone in person about the matter and «Alfred» then threatened to have me arrested. I lost over $ 4000 worth of my furniture, everything I had was in that unit. DO NOT GO HERE! Pictures to follow…

Jeff John an employee at this business is rude and anti social, needs to learn some serious customer service courtesy. This kid thinks he is some type of tough guy, all and all he is a nobody that hates his job. He hates saying hello, and hates answering questions directly in front of the customer, Fucking punk.

This place is a mess! If Alfred spend more time focusing on the customers in front of him rather then be on his walkie talkie all the time perhaps he can also learn a little bit of courtesy and respect too. Needless to say my trailer wasn’t available and had to go to Coral Springs location.
The other lady who worked along side with ‘Alfred’ was actually much nicer, gave me a free hitch, yes free and a $ 50 refund back… Take notes Alfred, your age does not make you an expert.
