Wow!
The project was not 3 days late, it was 2 weeks late. 14 days according to the Roman calendar if you need to count. The project was almost $ 2,000 over contract price. $ 1,000 of which I was notified and agreed to the charges, the rest was added on the day before I came in to make my final payment. I had to sit there wasting 1 hour of my life to get you guys to give a «discount» of around $ 350.
The day I made the final payment, I was told by Juan he will send someone to finish the bathroom niche. The guy never came when I got back from the business trip. I called and no reply. Clearly, Juan was not interested to finish the job.
This is a lesson learned experience for me. If anyone would like to go through what I did, please be my guest.

I called ServPro of Sunrise in Broward County out to my home because I found mold behind the tiles of my shower. My wife and I have a family with two young children and was very concerned for our health and well being. It would have been easy to do some tests and have me paying for mold remediation whether I needed it or not, however after coming to my home on a Sunday and making an inspection, Gustavo, one of the owners, let me know that while it should be taken care of, that it was not a toxin strain and that expensive hazardous materials procedures were not necessary. He took the time to explain to me what to have my contractor do to ensure that all of the mold was removed and killed and which materials should be used upon remodeling. There was no fee charged for the house call on a Sunday! It is reassuring to know that there are businesses that operate in the best interest of the people they service, even if it means not coming away with any money.
