Big restaurant but tired looking décor. The staff was attentive and refilled our drinks quickly. Their«almost famous» food items were not that spectacular. Unless Pittsburg cooking back home must really suck. The chili gave my friend heartburn, the pittsburger meat patty was dry and flavorless. The melted cheese tasted like plastic. I probably won’t be back.

1st time here. Drove up from Miami just to try it. Ofcourse this wrote up is based on MY opinions, likes & dislikes. For starter-chilli; thick, very hearty, as i personally love it, Excellant!. Then had turkey & cheese w/the additional egg and the works: slaw, tomatoes & cut fries, on delishous warm bread(only ate ½) & i had to taste their pizza– pepperoni slice(was only going to eat ½, but devoured it all). Excellant service, very big place, tvs everywhere. Worth the drive & i do plan to revisit. Enjoy!

This place is as good as it gets! Come here and gorge! The almost famous sandwich is incredible and was a bucket list sandwich for me. The boardwalk fries are really tasty and I enjoyed the look and feel of this place.

Eh — it was ok. Pizza very saucy — nice crust but not my favorite. When you picked up a slice everything slid off the top because it was too much sauce. Plus we ordered sausage and it wasn’t sliced Italian sausage, it was crumbled sausage — yuck. Salad with house dressing was good. Bottomless pasta with meatballs was a good value at $ 7.99 and the meatballs were pretty tasty.(We only got one dish of pasta as it was pretty big) Service was great.

I hate to give this review because I just love the Pitts-Burger, but my girlfriend and I both came to Primanti’s on a whim. I have only been to this location for lunch when I worked in the area, but we decided to come in around 8pm on a weekday. There were not many people in the restaurant. We were seated right away but we weren’t greeted by our server/bartender for almost 10 minutes. We almost walked out… I ordered a Guinness and she did not pour it correctly. Half way… let it settle, then pour the rest. This, any bartender should know. Not just pour it all quickly and let it settle in front me. The rest of the wait staff seemed to be congregating near the kitchen. I get it was a slow night but ugh… I am giving 2 stars because I love the Pitts-Burger and it was cooked correctly. The bread was fresh and the price was right. The way too cold Guinness, in the icy mug, not settled with the seemingly uncaring bartender/server made this trip lackluster

Pizza to die for!!! They serve it right from the oven and you can actually taste the freshness of all ingredients. The crusts very crispy amazing never disappointing!

Knowing that they originated in Pittsburgh, PA. and have been featured on the Food Network; I knew I needed to try this place out. This is a family style restaurant. It’s a great local spot to go to when you feel for casual dining. Their happy hour ends at 7pm on weekdays but beers/drinks are inexpensive and well worth it. The pizza here is great and whenever I’m in the mood for NY style pizza; this is where I go. Their chili’s okay and so are their wings. The waiters/waitresses are nice and even when it’s busy, I’ve never had to wait too long to be seated. The restaurant is a decent size and so is their bar. You can definitely watch sports games here with family and friends in this laid back atmosphere. Parking isn’t an issue as this location happens to be in a shopping center with parking in front and to the side of the restaurant. I will be back to try out their sandwiches, which they are well known for.

Black and yellow, black and yellow, black and yellow… Long live the #412 in the #954! This location makes me feel like I’m back in Pittsburgh, but with 80 degree weather, palm trees and zero yinzers talking about Steelers football. I like this location because every time I’ve been here the service has been great. The location has a big bar area as well as a nice dining area as well. As a Pittsburgher, or «yinzer», I can tell you that their«almost famous» sandwiches are delicious. Sandwich with cole slaw and French fries on it? Give it to me now! The Pittsburger lately has been my go-to. In Pittsburgh they don’t sell anything else but these sandwiches(unless times have changed since I moved) so I don’t know about any of the other food items. I will say I’ve tried the fried pickles and they were great. Everyone loves fried pickles though, right? There is local sports photos of famous Pittsburgh athletes which is cool. The food always comes out quickly, I devour it and am full for days. I always leave happy, full, and a little less homesick.

I’m not sure why there so many negative reviews. Primanti’s offers sandwiches, pizzas, pastas and other Italian dishes. They are primarily known for their huge sandwiches and delicious pizza. I love the corned beef & cheese sandwich. The sandwich is topped with a tomato, coleslaw & French fries. By request, you can add raw or cooked onions. The sandwich is already huge, so I ask for the French fries on the side. The sandwich is delicious and I love the flavors of this sandwich. The corned beef & cheese seem freshly sliced. The coleslaw isn’t watery. The overall combination of this sandwich is great. Whenever I order pizza, I order it by the slice because I like my pizza well done but not burnt. The pizza slice is always huge, and I could probably stop after my 1st slice but of course I don’t. I should probably venture out and try other things on their menu but I typically stick to the corned beef sandwich or slices of pizza. They do offer a nice selection of lunch specials during the week. They also have a full bar, and it seems like they offer drink specials all the time. They have a bunch of booths and tables and not to mention televisions. The service is always good. And the food is always great, which makes everything better.

Primanti Brothers are the famous sandwich’s that are gigantic with the fries on the sandwich. They also have pizza, salad and pasta. My parents took me here about a year ago and every time I visit them, we have to come here. It is so good! We went for lunch because they have great lunch prices. I got the pizza with salad. The pizza slice was gigantic and it came with a side salad and a drink. It is all under 8 dollars for lunch. Great deal. On certain nights they have specials. We have been before for the pizza special, which I believe was a large pizza with 3 toppings. The only think negative I could say is that the pizza could be cooked a little longer, the cheese usually falls off if you pick it up but it is still tasty! I think one of my favorite things, is the GIGANTIC garlic rolls. They come I believe 6 to an order and they are covered in garlic. So delicious you can not put them down! This is a great place to take a large group or a bunch of kids. Even a nice pizza dinner with your spouse, its great. I cant wait to visit mom and dad so we can go again.
