I will never return. I went in Sunday morning and ordered 2 plain and 4 onion bagels to go. When I got home and served 2 of the 4 onion were hard as rocks while the other 4 were moist and chewey. I threw the 2 stale ones in the trash. I live approx 5 miles away so it was not worth my time to return. How dare you sell yesterdays trash at full price and mislead your customers. You probably felt we would toast them and not notice. If you lie about this I can only imagine what other things you lie about.

Clean, classic deli. Friendly helpful waitress. Egg salad sandwich on fresh rye, split pea soup, potato salad and great half sour pickle. All delicious and perfect deli food. So glad we found it and will be back!

Sort of sad little place.
My aunt comes in here a lot. It’s kind of like a place where all the retired people come to eat lunch. Nothing fancy, nothing very flavorful, nothing spicy… but it does the trick. Simple deli. I got the corned beef sandwich and it was alright, the meat was okay and my bread was kind of not good.
The worker here is nice and tried to engage us in conversation.
The best thing there was their bagel and smoked salmon dish which isn’t saying much since it’s a bagel, smoked salmon and cut up veggies so it didn’t really require cooking. The bagels are… not NY bagels, that’s for sure.

Eh it’s ok. Hot place, plain décor. Cashier had a New York attitude with his shirt half unbutton showing off his chest hairs (Ew). Food taste like cafeteria food. First time trying out this place, not sure if ill come back.

I come here all the time. The place is a place you should go if you are looking for an easy breakfast on the cheap. The breakfast specials go until 11:30. The prices are great and the staff is friendly. The atmosphere is not desirable because you are in an area surrounded by old people.
If that doesn’t bother you, give it a shot.

Terrible with a capital T… The customer service is non existent. Rude and arrogant. I was presented with a bill of 60.00 for breakfast and sandwich meat and a little bakery. When I questioned the price I got a fast shuffle and could not get a receipt for my purchase. They would not let me change my mind on the order. That was that.
The breakfast was mediocre at best. There was some disgusting red or orange stuff on the home fries that tasted awful. Eggs Benedict was bland and unappetizing.
The bathroom was filthy dirty and stinks.
Other than bad food, customer service and dirty run down conditions the place was fine, ha ha…
P U had to shower when I got home

Very disappointed. Food was average. Server was friendly, but unacommodating.
The worst part was when we had a COCKROACH join us on our table. We asked for the manager and we were told. «Tito would be in at 3pm.» We weren’t even offered a apology. When I asked for a business card, I was told they didn’t have any.
I’ve been to this deli before, but I would NOT go back.

Eeeewwww!!! No, no, no, no, no and NO! STAY AWAY! I HAVE TO give a rating, so that’s the only reason I gave it 1 star.
No customers were in there, except for a fly! Food was not good, and the place smelled like a meat market. There was a blackboard with all the daily specials, and one special said, «½ a sandwich, soup and fountain drink,» when my husband asked what soups they had, the guy told him, «Oh, we put the soups away!» LMBO! Really?! It was only 3 p.m. Décor and furniture were awful, and there was nowhere to throw the trash away. My husband had to walk outside the place to throw his stuff away! The only reason I tried this place was because for the most part, I like New York deli’s, so I thought I’d give this one a try. Well, at least now I know! Would NEVER go back! If you want a GREAT NY Deli, go to ROASTERS ‘N’ TOASTERS!

Sometimes Unilocal really does get it right. Based on the average rating here, I would normally have passed on this place and looked for a better breakfast spot. As it happened though, it was the only one that was on our way so we decided to stop.
The eggs were small but cooked reasonably well. The french toast was huge but raw in the middle. The bacon was completely overdone — dry, brittle, and completely dull. The coffee was luke warm by the time it got to us.
The sagging, dirty brown ceiling tiles that looked like they were about to fall out didn’t inspire a lot of confidence.

No Bad, not bad at all. My Grandma lives in the area so I always try to take her to new places. The staff is really nice, the coffee is hot and strong (just like Grandma likes it!) and the french toast is delicious. I’ve had their omelets and other breakfast items but it’s all pretty much alright. The prices are more than fair, especially if you come before 11am for their breakfast specials. They have like 12 different specials so check them all. Bagels are good and they have a decent selection.
All in all, not a bad place, just make sure you get the coffee & french toast as that’s as good as it gets.

The two stars are for the staff and the coffee! I keep getting drawn back there for that reason. The breakfasts are ok but I’ve had better. Staff are wonderful.

I had a decent breakfast here.
The eggs done well, served with two HUGE slices of nicely toasted Rye Bread.
Lips had an all white Egg with fried onions and shrooms.
The coffee I thought was spot on both with flavor and served hot.
Service was as expected.

I’ve been to AA meetings with better coffee and bagels. I only went here because some of the locals told me it was worth checking out. The tables and chairs were barely a step above folding chairs and if it were decorated any plainer I’d assume they were going out of business. This place is often busy and has been here a while so they must be doing something right. I won’t be back though.
