Legacy Farm

A Five star trainer for both horse and rider! Stacie impressed us so much with her horsemanship and riding skills that we asked her to start our 2 year old filly with her riding training. Her training, both under saddle and on the ground, have far exceeded our expectations! Stacie has a great love for horses and truly cares about their care. She takes care of every detail from grooming, turnouts, diet and supplements, blanketing, and more. My husband and I also started taking lessons on our already trained quarter horses. We ride western but Stacie has taught us so much about good riding foundation that translates to all riding disciplines. She teaches balance, feel, and confidence. Stacie is so patient and is so clear in her lessons. I like that she can judge a students ability and know what they are capable of in a lesson. She doesn’t ask us to do something unless we are ready. We have so much fun in our lessons that I can’t wait to have another. Stacie also has the best school horses for students! They are all so well trained. Stacie and her students also compete on a regular basis at shows. Great fun experiences for everyone at different show locations. Would highly recommend Legacy Farm for both horse and rider training.

I really love this place. Stacie is very knowledgable and extremely helpful whether instructing in the arena or offering health care advice for my horse, she really knows her stuff. I feel that she takes the time to personalize the lessons to the individual and adjusts to the individuals needs not just the program. I would recommend this from beginner to advanced riders and I just signed up for 10 more lesson. Highly recommend.

I was referred to Stacie when I wanted to find a good trainer to help start my young horse correctly, as well as give me lessons on my senior horse. While I do not consider myself her traditional client, having two horses with opposite training needs, she has really enhanced my experience with both. She creates a barn atmosphere that is hard working and efficient, and makes learning fun. This is the most enjoyment I have had with horses in more than 10 years, and it is so rewarding to see how well my horses are doing.
I am now taking lessons and am enjoying refreshing my riding skills as well. Whether the lesson is on one of Legacy Farms’ well trained horses or on my own, it is really nice to test what I can do and feel myself riding correctly again. It is also great to watch other members of the barn ride and support everyone at shows.
In this barn I found a trainer I can trust and care I can count on for my horses, I could not recommend it more highly for hunter/​jumper enthusiasts of all ages.
