Smells like old armpits and urine combined. Staff is extremely rude. Only decent if you’re a regular, outsiders beware.

Good crowd, drinks are potent and good! Had a fun time here the past couple of weekends. Everybody gets up and does a song and can see the passion as they sing their hearts away. Atmosphere is friendly and everyone has a good time. Can get crowded but not overly packed. Can also shoot pool while you wait to sing. Fun place to hang out that’s not too far from you home if you live in the area.

First time here I played pool with the owner a couple times and several regulars. Hand in ball was a nice surprise. Everyone was cool and friendly. Kareoke is great. Never shortage of singers both times I’ve come. 3 pool tables, 1 regulation pay per hour, 27ft tables .75. Foosball. Not huge but decent enough. Came back while only in town for a bit.

Every wednesday, friday, saturday, and Sunday they have karaōke. Karaōke starts at 9pm. This place is so huge when you walk inside its amazing, for some a place like this may be overwhelming but its not like that at all because the people are great here. They have four pool tables, tons of TV’s, cheap yet very yummy eats . I could taste the real wholesome goodness in the food. which makes this place a bonus because its a great place for drinks and great eats. They have tons of video games and a big karaōke stage, plus the kj from Woodhams is here also and that guy is super awesome. I like the bartenders attitudes too and the patio is really cool. They have tables out back and a shadey spot. They also have foosball and some other things. The bathroom is also very clean, an y’know the crowd is cool When you walk away from the place with great stories from people at the bar. I am definitely coming back and my friend will be too, this place is a great gem of a place. Hey they have great pool table sticks too.

Dive Bar atmosphere, but cool regulars… used to be fun hang out for a good«pour», however, no more. Some kind of «bar rescue» has been asked to help and downhill since. Gone is best bartender, and you get the Chili’s, Applebee’s pour and serve… good luck Oasis, if your counting on same customer base without bankroll of national advertising and backing, you better have the Zuckerberg of ideas…

Can’t go wrong with this place if all you want is a beer and a game of pool or darts. Although I had to google«old fashioned» to get the bartender to make my drink everything else was just fine.

It’s just another dive bar with pool tables, beer, and a bunch of random patrons. I gave it three stars because: 1) the bartender was nice 2) the beer is like $ 5 a pint 3) it’s local

Bartender was drunk at 9:30 at night, turned the music up so loud our table couldn’t talk… I asked her if we could lower it a little she said you should move away from the speaker if it’s to loud. We did and it didn’t help. Normally I love dives but this bartender was nice to the regulars but really crappy service(including over charging us for drinks) to new patrons… Avoid if your new or from out of town!

I came here for a dart match. Angie was the bartender and was super cool. Seems like a great local dive bar, one I would call my home bar if I lived in the area. A lot of people playing pool on the 3 tables. It looked like they were having some kind of tournament when I was there. The fries are bomb and the rest of the food looked great too.

This place is amazing. A small out the place dive of a bar, but the bar and the crowd are amazing. All sorts of patrons and there all friendly. Def a good discovery to find this place.

This is a great place to get a drink, play some CA scratchers, shoot pool, and grab a few munchie items for the tummy. I have been coming here infrequently over the past 5+ years. I would add on a few more years but it gets blurry after that many years of drinking. I like to hop to new diver bars and make my rounds to keep things exciting. Two things are always certain whenever I come back to The Oasis…(1) the drinks are made and taste nice and strong and(2) the bartenders are welcoming and are always nice to me during my visits. The general atmosphere is pretty cool and never really changes. I like the pool tables, music, and dollar bills on the walls and ceilings. They have a variety of gaming machines and an electronic dart board too. A big bonus for the Unilocalers who follow my Scratchers, I love to gamble! list… there is a CALOTTERYSCRATCHERDISPENSER on the premises. The Oasis is definitely going into the top ten of my list. You can drink and gamble, I love it! Scratchers, I love to gamble! list @

A long time bar of friendly regulars and bartenders! Great price on food and drinks too! The moment you walk in you can tell this place has been here forever. From the décor and cluttered arrangement of things it shows history and memories only years of fun times can create. Dollar bill ceiling, random shelf of trophies, a white board with everyone’s birthdays in the month. It’s a homely feel that welcomes all. Typical full bar set up with a decent selection of drafts, New Castle being my favorite! Bottled beer from your variety of domestics to the owners imported favorite Tsing Tao. They have more than enough for a picky beer drinker to choose from. Typical bar food from personal sized pizza, taquitos, chilli cheese fries, jalapeño poppers, with wings topping the list in price at 7 dollars for a basket of seven. It’s a nice variety of bar food. Although most seemed like frozen food that they heat up in an oven or microwave, I can’t complain for how cheap and fair priced it is. Lots of high top tables to sit at while enjoying your drinks and watching or participating in the event of the night which may be a pool tournament or karaōke just depending on the night you choose to go. Wed, Fri, Sat for karaōke. Sunday and Thursday for pool tournaments. The crowd is very diverse in many ways, but everyone is friendly and the bartenders know how to keep everyone smiling. Outdoor patio in the back with some chairs for smokers and the entrance from the back parking lot. Some available parking in front of the front entrance on El Camino Real. 10 dollar credit card minimum, but they have an ATM machine available inside. Great to come to with a group of friends or you can make friends with a group like I did with the welcoming crowd you will find here!

It’s a good divey bar. Never really had any problems with creepers or weirdos here(like some other dive bars). We usually go here when we want to karaōke. Last time we went they had updated song books too, which was exciting. Fun place to hang out and have some drinks. Nothing super special though.

Who could have known that Stephanie(the former Oasis bartender) was the glue that held this place together? I guess I should have known it. She could mix several drinks at a time, down a shot, clean the bar top, and literally not lose a beat while all-the-while singing a Patsy Cline or Janis Joplin diddy. Well, Stephanie’s literally off to a better place — or at least a better station in life — for no joke, she won the lottery, packed up, and headed back home to the Boston area. And, although I wish her well, The Oasis unfortunately suffers in her absence. And so, an ode to Stephanie, in the spirit of some of my favorite other East Coast ladies(Rose, Dorothy, Blanche and Sofia): «Thank You for Being a Bartender» Thank you for being a bartender Traveled over every road, you trusty New Englander Your heart is true, you’re a pal and a confidant I’m not ashamed to say I’m sad it won’t always will stay this way My hat is off, won’t you stand up and take a bow? And if you threw a karaōke party Invited everyone you knew You would see, the biggest tip would be from me and next to the signature line would say, Thank you for being a bartender Thank you for being a bartender Thank you for being a bartender Thank you for being a bartender We patrons miss you and want you back We’ll pool together to buy you a ticket(JetBlue or Amtrak?) Whatever you need, anytime of the day or night I’m not ashamed to say I’m sad it hasn’t stayed this way My hat is off, won’t you stand up and take a bow? Now that you’ve won the lotto And clearly left for better shores Should we meet up again — whether inside or out-of-doors, I will stand real close and say, Thank you for being a bartender

A friend became another year older. and this is where he decided to celebrate. I arrived at about 11… parking is almost impossible… but that is fine as long as a place is good. I am not saying the drinks were not good… in fact, the one drink I got was great… but it took 40 minutes to get it. I stood there at the bar, regulars being helped all around me and as the bartender sang karaōke(quite well in fact) …and did her duties at the bar, I was just skipped… over and over. It was frustrating. I finally did get my drink… but when it was done I decided it was so not worth trying to get another. All in all… I had a great time… even the bathroom was clean… but when I am at a bar… I would like to have a drink. not just dream of one. Sorry Oasis.

After growing up in Sunnyvale and living down the street for YEARS, I finally came in to The Oasis over Xmas week. I’d always wondered about this place. Fun karaōke and a great bartender plus the people I was there with were awesome… but as I suspected all along, this fine establishment is a ‘lil sketchier than I prefer. Can’t say it’ll have a regular spot on my dive rotation but I’m glad I went at least once. Good for people watching and karaōke… Cash only.

An oasis is a watering hole where all sorts of beasts come to drink. Since the crowd in here is so random the name Oasis totally fits this dive. So I took a seat right in between some Indian consultant here on a work visa, he rambles something about how Indian food in Sunnyvale sucks compared to New Dehli and right next to some bigger Latino«Ben Davis» guy who looks like he wants to seriously kick my ass for sitting too close to his muchacha. All good, I’m here just to enjoy a beer. The best thing about the oasis is their bar food menu. It’s written on a chalkboard right on the bar and it has prices from like 1997. The menu is strait trailer and I like it!!! Corndogs = $ 1.00, jalapeño poppers $ 2.50, chili cheese fries $ 3.50, and buffalo wings was their big ticket item coming in at like 6 bucks. Yes! And the food comes on little dixie paper plates.
