I don’t understand all the 4 and 5 star reviews. Yeah its cheap, and I guess its not terrible, but for about 1 $ more at Chipotle I could get much higher quality food, watch as they make it, pay with a card, and not have to navigate the frustrating floor plan. I got the super nachos, ordered without sour cream. Brought it home and it was literally covered in sour cream. I went back and they were nice about it and replaced it right away, but I have to say it was pretty bland. hardly any guac, cheese or beans. It was pretty much all meat and chips. I guess that says something about the quality of meat… Aside from all that, the restaurant layout is awful. You can’t go anywhere without having to fight back and forth through the order line. ATM, through the order line. Now go through the order line and find the end. pick up salsa, through the order line, pick up order, back through the order line. Leave, back through the order line… Same if you need the bathroom, or are navigating the seating.

Came here w/my sister for a quick snack. Ordered a super taco and super nachos. Friendly service and clean place. WAY better than La Victorias. Chips were your stadium chips but the ones you usually see at a taqueria w/moist carne asada, FRESH avocado slices, and the best REFRIED beans. All sooo delicious. I could do w/out the tacos since I LOVE nachos so much! My sister said what would’ve made the tacos one up, would’ve been to have queso fresca on it. Otherwise she was a fan too!

Great place and the super tacos are on point. This place only takes cash though and its a bit pricey as far as taquerias go.

So let me get this straight. They serve me cold tacos and then want to charge me 30 cents to warm them up. Oh yea cash only.

Simple menu, fresh ingredients, fast service, but most of all, very tasty food at a great value! I am a big fan of their carnitas super tacos. 2 of them filled my up nicely. Meat, beans, cheese, salsa, and avocado! That’s right, avocado instead of guacamole. Nice change of pace! The inside is clean and organized. They offer two types of sauce: a green one that is mild and a red one that has just a bit of heat. I am so glad they decided to open close to my home!

Since Super Taqueria opened in Sunnyvale, I have been a fan of their chicken flautas, refried beans, and rice. I can’t recommend any other dish because I haven’t tried anything else but their flautas. Being Mexican, I make my own taquitos, enchiladas, tacos, burritos, and more. The bottom line is I’m very picky and don’t usually frequent Mexican restaurants because homemade is ALWAYS better. But when I crave flautas/taquitos and am short on time, Super Taqueria is my go-to place for convenience. The big inconvenience is that they only accept cash, and the ATM machine inside charges a fee as well as my own bank then charges a fee. As long as I remember to have cash on me, the cost to dine here isn’t so exhorbitant with all those fees. Also, their cashiers could use a little more personality. C’mon, smile a little!

Love the food. Usually go to the San Jose branches and first time to try this one on El Camino Real. The two stars are for the white dude that was mopping the floor and commented that I got too much salsa for my order. I wanted to tell this idiot to go to hell but took the high road. We were a party of four and finished all the salsa we took. Way to ruin our lunch, schmuck. Not coming back(to this branch).

I have tried to eat here multiple times, but I have always been disappointed. The burritos are very bland, not much to rant and rave about. They are also not served with sour cream and guacamole. I don’t think you can even get them on the side. Don’t even think about ordering their chips to-go. They gave me hot chips in a Styrofoam container which the chips ended up melting THROUGH the container. Every bite tasted like chemicals and plastic. Cash only which can be an inconvenience, but there is a atm inside. That’s the only good thing I can say about this place. Pass on this restaurant.

I don’t know why everyone keeps hating on Super Taq, it was pretty damn delicious. For roughly $ 5 I got a burrito the size of my head that wasn’t half rice like most places. It also had actual slices of avocado(hugeee plus) throughout the whole burrito and perfectly melted cheese. The beans remind me of La Taqueria in the city(yes, I went there). Also, they advertise themselves as «Mexican Fast Food» what were you expecting? One of the cashiers is the cutest little thing, she’s in the process of learning English and trying REALLY hard. Be patient. Horchata was a bit warm when served though.

Great location: right by the 85 freeway. The Super burrito is made sans arroz! your choice of meat, either pollo, carnitas, asada. With beans, avocado and salsa. Salsa bar: a fine salsa bar with at least three different kinds of salsa, red, mild red, very hot red and salsa verde. Various pickled vegetables and the requisite fresh, crunchy serrano chile peppers that are high in protein, vitamins B6, B12 and C. The torta is always a good buy. This restaurant is clean and has ample parking. Tip: Low sugar peeps: their Super Taqueria brand of water is just $ 1.10 and good sized.

I remember this place from my college days in San Jose. Got a Carne Asada taco and a Carnitas taco. Carnitas was definitely much better. Carne Asada was on the dry side. Skipped the beans and opted for the traditional toppings of cilantro and onions. Salsa bar was a mess but the lady working the register tidied up while we were there. So thst was all good. All in all pretty decent. Somewhat of a confusing ordering process. I wasn’t sure where the line started so I ended up cutting in front of two people. They too were confused so when I graciously admitted and apologized for what I did, they also mentioned they weren’t sure where to order so they were just standing around… confused. CASHONLY! If in a pinch… I’d come back just for the carnitas!

This place lakes food quality, flavor and taste. 1 st time I go to a Mexican restaurant that makes chips on order and charge for it and the worst part it taste like cardboard. I will never eat tier again.

I’ve got a poor man’s palate but an emperor’s appetite. Small risk, satisfied curiosity, and opportunity to be pleasantly surprised are the reasons why I love trying out these hole-in-the-wall joints. While driving down El Camino, the BF and I have made a mental note of all these type of places that we want to try for these reasons. Super Taqueria was first on the list. Their burrito is meh but their torta with steak was satisfying. The meat kind of tasted like bulgogi(marinated Korean beef) and while it wasn’t the highest quality torta, it got the job done and was super cheap. No, this is definitely not worth traveling to try but it’s decent for a quick and cheap bite. I say it’s A-OK, bang for your buck, hey hey!

My mom picked up a burrito for us here since her Mexican friend highly recommended it for being delicious and authentic. The carne asada burrito we shared did not have rice in it and was pretty big. It was pretty delicious and filling(with just half!). They also have a number of difference sauces you can choose from and some hot peppers. We also got an horchata drink which was on point. Pretty close to my place so I’ll be back!

My husband and I tried their chicken super burrito, and we thought it was just okay. The super doesn’t come with guacamole, sour cream, or salsa which is surprising. Our burritos only had chicken, rice, re-fried beans, cheese, and avocado. I’m sorry but I guess I’m just used to the works or something. I was truly disappointed that there was way too much bean to meat, and the distribution of ingredients was off. My first few bites upon unwrapping my burrito was all beans, then my bites became mostly rice. And the juice of the beans and chicken made my burrito soggy, which did not make it fun to finish.

Came here when it first opened however there were 6 listings of this place and mine got deleted. For a new restaurants, it’s dirty. There were black scruff marks all over the floor, and salsa bar was a mess. It was busy so I’m guessing everyone was eager to try the place. It was my first and last visit. Blah or yuck can be the best word to describe the experience and the burrito. Ordered the carne asada regular burrito and super burrito which is just added avocado, rice. Bland, tasteless, and just awful. Who cares if it’s cheap? It only has about 4 – 5 ingredients. I’d rather go down the street to chipotle and get a chicken bowl for $ 6.40 and get everything including sour cream. Tastes a million times better! It blows my mind how this place can have so many locations. People must not have much taste buds.

Good food, great staff of workers, fast, friendly, and a decent option for taquerias in the South Bay. My first time visiting this location was on October 2nd, 2014, which was a couple days after the grand opening. While there was a long line of people, the two people at the cash registers were quick and friendly. I only had to wait 3 – 4 minutes to receive my food after I ordered it. However, I rated this restaurant 3-stars for a reason. As others have mentioned, they don’t offer chips as a side dish, yet they sell nachos. Update: this location does have cheese on their nachos. It took 14 minutes to get my order on a Tuesday evening, when it wasn’t extremely busy. Overall, Super Taqueria is a good addition to Sunnyvale, and it’s worth trying at least once.

I used to eat at the one near the SJ Courthouse when I had to do jury duty. Been a long while and I forgot how good their meats are. Cabeza, Lengua, Buche, and Adobada are very flavorful. At 3pm the place is completely packed. THey however move things pretty quickly. I guess my only gripe is the tortillas were unevenly heated so some were underdone. Otherwise, they’re rocking it. 4.3 stars

Since the first sign went up, «Super Taqueria, Coming Soon!», I’ve been waiting patiently for this location to open. I’ve lived in Sunnyvale for a couple years, so it’s not very convenient to head down to 10th Street or McLaughlin when the urge for a top notch taco strikes. Apparently I wasn’t the only one eagerly awaiting opening day; the joint was out-the-door packed when I went. All the usual favorites are as good as ever; the carnitas and carne asada are still the best bets. I might say the new spot is not quite as good as McLaughlin, but maybe la plancha needs some time to season. And, like all other locations, it’s still cash only.
