I love my storage unit! The price is right, the location is great, and the employees are friendly. Chase and Stella are kind and helpful every time I come here (which is often!) I store all my sporting equipment here (skis, wakeboard, kayaks), but it’s also become home to my camping equipment, costumes, files, pictures etc. The units are inside a warehouse-​style building, so it doesn’t get screaming hot like other storage units. You could probably store wine inside and not «cook» it.
You bring your own lock, and everything about it feels safe. They have many sizes of units from 12-​square feet to 169-​square feet, and I rented something in the middle. There are always carts available and my unit is on the second floor, so I use the elevator.
Free Advice: get a slightly bigger storage unit than you think you need and make an aisle down the center so you can easily find your things. (This «aisle» greatly improved my quality of life and I don’t dread going to my storage unit anymore.) And label your boxes!
Recently, a fellow customer painted colorful murals on the inside walls which brightened up the place. Don’t miss the funky giraffe painting in the stairwell. I don’t think it’s allowed to use the word «hip» in the same sentence as «storage unit” – but if it were permitted, I’d say it. We’ve tried other storage units in the area and we’re very happy here.
The location is a few short blocks to downtown Sunnyvale and Murphy Street, so when I need a break from «dealing with my storage unit” – it’s nice to know that there are pubs, coffee shops and lots of restaurants nearby.
The only downside is the hours the storage is open. Monday-​Friday it closes at 6:30pm, which means my husband has to get off work early to make it to the storage unit before it closes.
Bonus: They have complimentary cold water in the office, which is just what you need after a day of sorting through storage unit junk.
