My grandmother has been in Sunnyvale Post Acute for a few weeks and her stay has been amazing! I have visited her on multiple occasions and each time I have stopped by the staff has been extremely welcoming. My grandmother has received great care and is getting stronger by the day thanks to Sunnyvale’s outstanding rehab team. They have also had some great activities including a St. Patrick’s Day party and a Candle Light Dinner which seems to have made all of the residents feel extremely special. I would recommend Sunnyvale to anybody that needs to place a loved one in a skilled nursing facility.

Now Let’s just say my grandfather’s stay here was by far the worst experience he and our family has ever had! «Nurses and «cna’s are running around like chickens with their heads cut off. They claim to bathe patients twice a week.?! He was only bathed once during his stay. Personal hygiene is where they lacked my grandfather had rotted up food In his mouth from not being able to swallow which once again should have be taken care of and the responsibilities of the cna’s that work there. My grandfather needed assistance being Fed. Never seen that happen on my visit. They knew he was on a liquid diet and brought saltine crackers.(what the Heck are they thinking) He was drenched in urine and waited about 45 minutes before anyone came into change him. The list goes on and on. These are just a few unfortunately. So if u have a loved one I recommend that u continue your search. Do not bring them here.

Soon to return to Sunnyvale post acute Center. New management is very nice but it still is a skilled nursing facility what’s all its b******* I am I am returning from the emergency room going back to the facility to try to kill myself it should be busy enough now they’ll be plenty of cars to roll my chair in front of so long world it was never for me
Thank you Sunnyvale acute care but that’s not the place for me I know you don’t like to have negative reviews as we noticed the other day so that’s why I thought I would say thank you before I leave you are very nice people and I hope you are able to change the facility to work in a better way it’s just not for me dead is where I want to be.
