Wow! They credited me for 6 huge lag bolts I bought over a year ago. No problem. Didn’t hassle me at all.

Great place for Pros or for DIY who knows what they are doing. If you are a novice, they will try to help. But really, this place is for pros. We’ve been buying lumber, moldings and siding from these guys. We are happy with the products and they provide good customer service. Prices tend to be lower than Pine Cone Lumber down the street.

I’ve been going to Sunnyvale Lumber for many years, and these guys know what they are doing. I had some custom doors done by them and the work is fantastic. Highly recommend.

Was buying redwood for a vegetable garden box. Bought 32×12×8, 32×4×8 and asked them to cut them down to 36″ and 75″” which they did for no charge, so far so good. I checked the the dimensions of the 2×12s and the 2x4s and everything looked okay, however I didn’t check to ensure that the depth of the 36″ 2x4s were the same as the 75″ 2x4s. When I got home, I found the 36″ 2x4s were 1 ½″ x 3 ½″ and the 75″ 2x4s were 2″ x 3 ½″, obviously not cut from the same pieces! I guess they figured they could slip one past an amateur retail customer. A couple of days later I was over at Lowes and wandered by their lumber area and saw the same lumber considerably cheaper. Sunnyvale Lumber was $ 5.51 per foot or $ 44.08 for the 2×12×8. Lowes was $ 2.89 or $ 23.12 for the 2×12×8! Both were construction grade. Let the buyer beware.

Good selection, knowledgeable, courteous employees, good prices. More geared toward professional contractors than DIY’ers. Not open on Saturday or Sunday. They were glad to order some moulding for me, but then they never called me when it arrived. I contacted them, and they sorted it out pretty quickly.
