Sun & Moon Family Daycare

I never find a daycare like this one，All teachers are very kind ，the daycare is very clean and nice .they love all children very much ，they take care of all children very good，my son loves them very much and he knows many things from the daycare，he changes to be a very better boy day after day My husband and I like the teachers and the daycare，my girl will be 2 years old，I think I will let my girl go there，we are not worried！
They cook lunch very yummy and clean！my son likes eatting very much，he eats more and he is stronger than before！
The teachers speak Mandarin and English！

I wish I could give 6-​star! I feel so lucky to find Sun & Moon Family Daycare.
We moved to the bay area three months ago. The biggest headache for me is not finding an apartment, nor the new job. It’s to find a good daycare for my two-​year old son. As a worried mom, I don’t easily trust any daycare who will take care of my baby. So I spent several days and checked up to 10 daycares before making a decision. I feel so lucky that I sent my son to Ms. Sun’s daycare and I can’t express how much I appreciate Ms. Sun’s work.
To be specific:
* The most important thing for me: great great teachers with love and patience to the kids. Everyday I sent my son there and I’m assured that my baby will be taken good care of. I’m feeling that I’m sending my son to a family member who will help me take care of my son. My son is happy to stay there. He would say «ByeBye» to me happily and go to play everyday I send him there. He says «Ms. Sun, I love you» a lot. I also heard some of the kids even calling Mrs. Sun «mommy». All the kids in the daycare looks very happy.
* Great Environment. Clean, large and bright classroom, dinning room, and large playground with lots of toys. The playground is paved with wood which is very safe for the kids.
* Good teacher-​student ratio. There are 3 teachers and each child will get a lot of attention.
* Great food, fruit and snacks. Mrs. Sun cooks great and healthy food and almost all of them are organic. I connect with Mrs. Sun through social networking, and I can see what my son has eaten for the lunch and snacks everyday. My son eats much more there than what he eats at home :)
* Learning and playing. Great progress for my son since he joined the daycare. Bilingual: English and Chinese. A lot of art, music. They also teach the children to be independent. My son can wear his socks and shoes by himself.
* Detailed daily report everyday so you could know very clear how was the day for your baby.
* Ms. Sun is so nice and warm-​hearted. She is just like an old friend there.
* She also gets a lot of prizes for her outstanding contributions in this area. Well-​deserved!

A great family mandarin speaking daycare!
We have a two year old daughter who is half chinese and half Caucasian. We are explicitly looking for chinese day care close to our house. There are many family day care around. And we also have been to two other ones, and this one is by far the best and we can really tell that our daughter is happier there.
The teacher/​owner is lovely and very caring for children at all age. She also has kid her self which is always a good sign. She follows all the state regulations. Most importantly, she continuously to learn about child development, getting more certification in teaching, which shows this is her true passion not just a source of revenue stream.
We also enjoy the diversity of children at the daycare. Although a chinese daycare, there are Latin American kid, African American kid, and a Caucasian baby. Love this international mix and the dive here!

This daycare opened in our neighborhood and it’s been a godsend so far. (1+ month).
Facility–
The house was remodeled to be a daycare center and the main playroom and backyard look really safe. They’ve got tons of play structures and learning tools. They also take a trip to the park every day.
Owner–
Caroline and her helpers seem both well-​organized and loving.
We feel good about dropping our son (7 months) off with her, because they seem so genuinely excited to see the kids each day. Caroline gives us really sweet daily reports things about his behavior/​physical health and ask questions/​make recommendations. I feel like they really care about the kids’ well-​being. I think other parents feel the same way (e.g. a mom stopped me outside the daycare to recommend it when we were touring it)
IMPORTANT: The teachers communicate with the kids mostly in Mandarin, despite none of the kids being native-​Mandarin speakers (as far as I know). We weren’t looking for Mandarin-​speaking daycare (we were looking for Spanish), but we figure that there are some benefits to bilingual immersion in any case.
