This is a fun place, randomly found on El Camino in Sunnyvale. I have to say I was a little confused at first, but I guess good comedy can be found anywhere! The club brings in a different headliner each week for a few shows on Thursday-Sunday nights. They’re not necessarily people you’ve heard of, but that doesn’t mean they’re not funny! And the prices are super reasonable. College students even get in for free on Thursday nights. There is, however, a two purchase minimum for food/drinks. I found that to be a bit weird, but they have a decently large drink menu and a few snack items. You wouldn’t go here for the food, but it’s there if you want it. My friends and I had a really fun time on our last visit — we were seated at one of the front table, literally feet away from the comedians. Of course that means we also got made fun of a bit, but I think that just made it more fun! We definitely plan on coming back soon.

My wife and I had a fun night here. Some of the drinks are a little gnarly — but you don’t have to order those.

It depends… The MC is consistently funny but other comics were Id say oK. Not amazing but crowd seemed to love it. Good for something to do in a place almost with no culture but I wouldn’t call it high level entertainment although varies day to day. Drinks are ok and waiters aren’t pushy with 2 drink min(and u can always get tea)

Totally disappointed in the venue!!! The comedian was great but the attitude of the hostess was unacceptable. We had purchased a group-on and were told we had to sit at the group-on table even though we had reserved this several months in advance… then they said we could sit at a table way in the back.

Once again three stars because of the cute venue and nice people. Could be a huge hit if only they had good drinks and reasonable food. We tried everything on the menu, each and every item was bad, oh so bad! The cocktails had little if any alcohol in them. The wine warm and cheap. If not for the fun show and reasonable prices I would give them one star. Next time we will definitely do what the tables around us did, we will order two bottles of soda or water. It’s s shame because we love to eat and drink. I’m extending a call to the club owners– we need your club here in Sunnyvale, it’s cute, the service is great, PLEASE complement that with better drinks and food and we will be happy to be here every weekend!

Been here a dozen of times and it still hits the spot for laughter. They bring in a variety of good comedians and headliners for different nights. Check the website for the calendar and tix purchase. The food/drinks minimum is 2, and it’s not exactly the best quality but hey, it’s a comedy club and not a 10-star restaurant(hah). The wait staff has always been great too. Street parking is easy and available right in the front. I hope you give this place a try!

I went here to enjoy a good night with my mom. The food wasn’t terrible, however we will never come back here, ever. I believe this older women who worked there, is the manager. The manager is a piece of work. I overheard her making racist comments about her staff. I was shocked! It made our evening very uncomfortable. Doesn’t this women know her business is in the bay area? I wont support this business

I have been here at least a dozen times and I have never had a bad experience with the club. Have there been comedians that were not funny? Sure. But I am not going to knock the club for that. Their reservation system is by voice mail, which is a little antiquated, and you don’t get a confirmation call back to confirm. However, I have never had a problem with a lost reservation when I have called in. I suggest getting there«at least» 15 minutes early, if not not sooner. There will be a line out front and only one person at the door collect your cash, credit, groupon, whatever. So be patient. You will get in and you will not miss anything. There are no bad seats in the house. There is always a coupon on their website that will get you two-for-one. And usually a Groupon that is good for a group of four people. Be sure to check into both of those first. There is a two drink minimum, as expected. But this can be a bottle of water if you so choose. The drinks are no more expensive than any other overpriced bar in the valley. The comedians can be hit or miss. But usually you get one good one out of the three if not all three.(Three including the host) Check em out.

Really great comedy club. It’s kind of small but they don’t cram you shoulder to shoulder like other places. I enjoyed my time here.

Hilarious comedy and very reasonably priced drinks! The two drink minimum here will get you more than one drink will get you in most places in the area. A wide variety of drinks from cocktails including margaritas and martinis to wines. Great service and comedy. Even the opening acts were funny!

First time visit to the club, and had a great time. We saw Brad Williams, who was Hilarious. Club is compact but not too crowded. 2 drink minimum is not bad for a 1 ½ hour show. We had fun, and laughed hard. We’ll come back again.

I went to Rooster T’s last night with a large group. The warm-up comedians were better than the headliner — no big deal, I’ve seen this many times before. The 1 star is because of the rude waitress. They say they have a 2 item minimum. When they charge a cover charge to get in I believe this is illegal. And when we didn’t order the 2 minimum she added to our bill and put items on there without our consent. I WILLNEVERGOBACKTHEREAGAIN. Also it was hot and I was falling asleep. I could not wait to get out of there.

Great cast of comedians! First time going to local comedy show. Very impressed by atmosphere. Highly recommend for date night or going with a group of friends.

Nice sized mainly comedy club. Had an old skool feel to it. Much better experience than mega shows at Shoreline or bigger clubs like San Jose Improv. Be careful, comedians very well may hear what you say hecklers and tear you a new one. They tend to not get the biggest acts but occasionally it does happen. Prices are usually reasonable. They do the annoying 2 drink minimum thing most of the time, not a deal breaker but rubs me the wrong way. Check out the website for upcoming shows, if you recognize the name you need to buy tickets way in advance. Go get yo laf on.

This place is so much fun to go to! It’s very intimate and there is not a bad seat In the House! Came here multiple times and have enjoyed very single show! They even have a grouping deal I which we caught to bring our friends next time! Super fun place and a great alternative to movie night! The wait staff has always been nice abs at tentative! They have mediocre food Enoch is hot dog send nachos which is five but they could update their menu a little bit so that people would buy more and try more things! But I’m sure people come here to drink and laugh! So if that’s your style this place will do the trick!

Here’s the deal. This place officially made myself and the fiancé want to own a comedy club when we retire. It’s the right amount of chillax and fun that we’d be happy with for the rest of our lives. Been coming here for years. Since the place is within walking distance for us, we’ll often come here as our weekend easy date-night. Then we get plastered while watching comics and drunkenly make our way home. It’s a blast. The comics here are hits and misses. Sometimes you get gems, sometimes not so much. but that’s comedy for you. The waitresses here bust their butts. I don’t envy their jobs. It’s always $ 20/door so also pretty cheap, with the standard 2 drink minimum on equally cheap alcohol.

If you want some laughter on Friday night after a long week, come to Rooster T Feather. They usually have Groupon deal so the entrance fee is pretty cheap. The disadvantage of getting tickets from Groupon is you will not able to choose your seats ahead of time. Instead, you will have to go a little bit early(Door opens at 8pm, show time at 9pm) to get your seat which is not too bad for me. You will also need to order 2 items for each person. Price is reasonable. I like their white zinfandel(Sweet) and cheese cake. Don’t get the chips and salsa, you will be disappointed… I did try their cocktails, but not too surprising for me. It’s understandable as this place is not a bar or restaurant, but if the quality of the drinks and food could be better, I feel people are willing to exceed the 2 items limits and order more… Their are usually 3 – 4 comedians per show. It starts with 1 – 3 guest comedians and ends with the comedian they list on their website. I recommend you to look up online before booking to make sure you like the comedian’s joke as every comedian may have their own style. For the guest comedian, it is depend on the person. Some of them are really good, some are just so so. Totally a surprise :) Love this place, will definitely come back.

Even though I was born and raised in Los Altos, I had only heard about this place recently through the Chelsea Lately show when Chelsea Handler announced Fortune Feimster would be performing here. It had been on my bucket list for sometime but I only just came here for the first time when my friend invited me to a comedy competition night. To tell you the truth, I have a really high bar when it comes to comedians and am not the biggest fan of stand-up comedy. However, the headliner for the night definitely kept me laughing throughout the act. Not the greatest comedian I have seen, but again, for stand-up comedy, he was pretty on-point. On that note, I wouldn’t judge this place solely based on the comedians other than the headliner if it’s amateur night or a comedian competition night because while there can be a few gems(and there were), there are usually many misses. I’m the type of person that really feels awkward when a bad joke is cracked and no one is laughing, so there were definitely a few moments where I felt pretty uncomfortable during the competition portion. A lot of the said comedians that were misses told a lot of dirty jokes that I just didn’t find funny. The gems tended to focus of personal flaws, which I always find daring and hilarious. To sum it all, I did have a reasonable night from what I expected for a comedy club: a few gems among wannabe comedians and a great headliner. The drinks are pretty tasty as well.

Our friend got tickets to Rooster T Feathers for Sheng Wang’s stand-up. Having gone to see comedy at the clubs in San Francisco, I was looking forward to checking out«Rooster T’s». There is a lot(auto repair shop) next to the club where customers can park as well as plentiful street parking. Compared to the clubs in SF, Rooster T’s is much smaller, which provides a more intimate feeling. Also, all the seats offer a good view of the stage. One good thing about Rooster T’s is that the seating arrangements are not as tight as other clubs. As like the other venues, there is a two drink minimum. The drink menu is pretty extensive from alcoholic to non-alcoholic. Though, if you need food, the menu is pretty limited. Overall, Rooster T’s is a good venue for comedy. Small and intimate with friendly servers. Though it’s a drive for me, I would make the trip if a comedian that I’m interesting seeing is performing there.
