Chuy’s great! He’s the best for color n hair cuts :). He can even fix your bad hair cuts(wow). His personal number is 408−316−4652. Priti is also very good. I always get my eyebrows done through her. Her number is 408−306−2382.

Priti is accommodating. I have called her for same day service. Always happy with the results. The only draw back is the location.

Best SERVICE and Best PRICE in town. I have been using Priti’s serices for over a year now and I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I usually drop by as a monthly routine to get a Brazilian wax, eyebrow threading and sometimes underarm waxing as well. The place is pretty small but comfortable and it’s understandable as Priti is a one woman show, so don’t expect a fancy treatment. I never felt pressurized to buy any of beauty products but Pitri made very knowledgeable suggestion for me to buy a bottle of Tea Tree Oil from Trader Joe’s to solve my ingrown issue and it worked tremendously well for me. I’m sure that if you are not willing to buy the product and you expressed how you felt to Priti, she would not coerce you into buying anything. Pitri has a different style for Brazilian waxing and it might be for everyone. I have had a similar styled waxer when I lived in Socal and therefore I already knew what to expect. Priti would ask you to stretch a little bit of your skin to reduce the pain while she waxed, which I thought have always helped a lot. Some people may be uncomfortable in doing this but in my opinion it helps the waxing treatment more effective with less pain. Overall, I think that this is a great place check out if you feel like pampering yourself. TIP: if you still want a little bit of hair left, DON’T say that you want a BRAZILIANWAX. It would save you the trouble since most places will take it as if you want to be totally bare down there.

I had gone for a facial at this place some months back. From the day I called the appointment given for facial was after 10days. Since I was having their offer coupon I waited & went for facial on given date. The facial room was clean & cosy. Facial lasted for almost an hour. I was good & relaxing. She was very gentle doing the facial. The products she used were nice ones.

Ok, so u know how when someone gets abused or violated, and they speak out about it, thus giving other victims the courage to come forward? And then that person who spoke out first has other supporters who know exactly what they went through? Well this was by no means the Jerry Sandusky of Penn State case, but thank you Unilocalers for giving me the courage to speak out on this embarrassing/awkward, & ok yes a bit violating experience. I visited PearlFace salon with a GroupOn voucher for a Brazilian wax. The waxer was very nice, so that’s another reason why I struggled with writing this, but you guys deserve to know the truth. PearlFace seems to share their bldg with 2 other businesses in a not so appealing area. The waxer took me in the back to a very cluttered room with wax brand boxes that I recognized from Sally’s Beauty(yes Sally’s home wax kits)(1st red flag). I undressed, got on table, and she gave me several instructions on how to err. hold myself so that she could wax me properly. «Hold your. how do u say.?» she asked pointing down there. «My lips?» I answer. «Yes lips, but hold it this way» she adds. I was slightly amused & embarrassed at the same time as I am pretty comfortable with my nakedness around other women, but couldn’t help but feel awkward because I felt like I was about to pleasure myself by they way she was consistently telling me to hold the lips of my vajayjay. I’ve had Brazilian/bikini waxes before, and I’ve never had to touch myself or pull my vajayjay open so that it was taut just right for the esthetician. Nor, did it ever take so many attempts to take hair off. As if I wasn’t already feeling awkward enough, I hear the sound of male voices just outside the door of the room where I was holding myself with a woman between my legs. A site I’m sure they or most men would’ve LOVED to see. It sounded like the men from one of the business’ next door. They were loud and so close it sounded as if they were about to waltz right into the room at any moment! When it was over, my strip looked crooked, but with that I just slid back on my panties & skirt. Despite that very awkward experience of ‘self discovery’, I still had her wax my eyebrows and she did an okay job. I recommend spending the extra cost at a more professional salon like European Wax Center because this esthetician was obviously inexperienced at Brazilian waxes.

I really want to like this place, because the lady was super friendly. This was my first experience with brazilian, so I was ready for pain, but I had to try someone else to discover this was absolutely painful! I think threading is too much! I couldn’t handle it, so the job didn’t even look complete, and the last step… alcohol??? are you serious? I think that’s gotta be very bad for the skin. not convinced…

Well, my experience with the Brazilian wax at PearlFace Salon was, to say the least, the worst wax I’ve ever had. A wax(especially a Brazilian, where the waxer is totally up in your space) should be professional, clean, and as non-embarrassing as possible. That was the exact opposite experience than what I had at Pearl Face. Let me tell you a bit about what went down(no pun intended…) The salon itself was so-so, definitely not an upscale or nice place. The waxing room in the back didn’t seem very clean. The waxer whom I had just met introduced herself to me and had me take my pants/underwear off while she stood there(usually the waxer would give the client more privacy). Now, this may get a little personal, and I apologize in advance if it’s TMI, but I think you should know about the experience. I wanted a bit of hair left to have a «shape» and not be totally bare down there, so when she was done with the first part of her waxing, she was going to have me look in a mirror to see if I liked how it looked. Well, she couldn’t find the hand mirror, so she opened the door to go to the lobby, and LEFTTHEDOOROPEN with me spread-eagle on the table. Luckily there was no one walking by at that moment, but I was freaked out. She then came back in with another staff member from the lobby and handed me the hand mirror. I have no idea why the other staff member needed to come in, but it was totally unnecessary and really a violation of my privacy. I’m already embarrassed here, and now another person has to come in and see me?! She had me look at my «nether regions» in the mirror while the two of them looked on. Embarrassing, much?! Now, that is not even the icing in the cake. The other lady left(thank god) and the waxer was going to finish waxing the«undercarriage,» if you will. As she was getting ready to start, she asked me if I had ever considered getting a labiaplasty. That’s right… she suggested that I get plastic surgery on my junk because it’s not the«right look.» AREYOUKIDDINGMEHERE?! I was in shock that she would ask such an incredibly inappropriate question. I said«um…no…I’m pretty happy with things just the way they are, actually,» to which she replied, «well, I know a good doctor, if you ever change your mind.» WOW. By this time I was just trying to «go to my happy place» until this horrific experience was over. I couldn’t get out of that place fast enough, and I would never EVER suggest anyone go there. They don’t seem to know the meaning of professionalism or boundaries.

***2.5 stars*** so i finally had a chance to come here for a brazilian bikini wax. note that i purchased a groupon for $ 19, which is just a ridiculously awesome deal for a full brazilian wax. the pros: 1. friendly staff 2. clean room 3. good waxing technique 4. very little pain(due to good technique) 5. threading was used to capture the leftover stray hairs(as opposed to tweezer plucking), hence less pain for this as well the cons: 1. parking is hard, only a few dedicated spaces in front of the building, but those were all taken. i had to park in the restaurant parking lot next door(which i was told is ok since my appt would be quick) 2. the table used is not stationary, it swivels. a little disconcerting to feel the table move each time the wax is stripped off. 3. with the threading technique, it’s much harder to pull out the very short stray hairs(whereas the tweezers would do the job) 4. i was left with very dry skin for 1 – 2 days following the appointment, thereafter, it shed. i never had this happen before, so it was a little daunting. there was no pain, just quite a bit of skin that shed. i’m undecided whether i’d return here.

Be VERY specific about the BRAZILIAN wax. I bought a Groupon for a bikini wax and came out looking like a prepubescent! No hair at all. TMI, but seriously, speak up or forever hold your peace. It’s a good thing hair grows back!

First visit today to get my eyebrows threaded, which they badly needed. Prithi did a great job shaping them and cleaning up around my brows. Very pleased with the results and her pleasant demeanor. Plan to come back!

Priti is not your average esthetician, she does my brows naturally and meticulously; her facials are customized and thorough, making my face glow each time afterwards. She really cares about my needs and remembers it every time I go. She’s not pushy, yet her prices are more than reasonable for the quality and services she provides. She does not treat you like just another client, but like a long term friend even if you’ve only seen her once. Since she newly remodeled, her beauty boutique-esque salon is even more comfortable and enjoyable to go to and I’ll definitely be seeing her for as long as I am in the bay area!
