I go there very frequently for inexpensive quick cut. My standard is low. Just a clean simple cut. But good luck with who end up doing your hair. I have met this angry lady couple times who can not simply cut my hair and she can not accept your feedback. This time she almost hurt my head. No more.

haircuts are perfect. Workers speaking in their own language is rude especially when they look at you and laugh.

$ 10 for layers and bangs?! I’ve been going to this place for the last year, ever since I discovered Thanh(the other ladies are great, too, but I’ve just never cut with anyone other than Thanh, since she ALWAYS does a great job). As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted with the friendly«hellos» of all the staff, who are the sweetest. They love chatting and asking how you’re day is going. I’m always fearful of getting bangs from any hairdresser, because it’s so easy to mess up, especially if it’s thick, Asian hair, but Thanh knows exactly what to do, and I walked out there feeling fabulous — and still have great hair weeks later! My layers are low-maintenance, and air-dry easily, which is exactly what I’m looking for. I actually raced back to this place after spending a couple months traveling, not trusting anyone with my hair, and it was worth the wait, because Thanh took care of everything and was able to tame my crazy mane.

I did not expect to see eye candy, but the service for a first timer was pretty good. The staff are nice, it would be better if they engage conversation with new clients. The cute lady giving me a hair cut likes to sing. I had to ask, her reply was she hears these songs every day. I like that they know what they’re doing. It’s a place I would go back to and not just to ga ga only the staff. It’s peaceful and fun. I hope it only gets better.

Trinh is awesome. If you’re looking to get a haircut and quick and make you look nice, ask for trinh. Been going here for 15 years — sometime, you get someone who’s not at par, but then hair grows back — and you avoid them. man — yes, works for living — yes, understand that hair grows back — yes, love 10 $ hair cuts that you can be in and out in 20 mins — yes. lives in sunnyvale/mountain view — yes — then go here.

Been here twice so far. 1st time: simple shampoo and trim — was decent, nothing flashy, good shampoo and wash — haircut was fast but good quality — there was a 15 – 30 min wait as they seem to be quite popular(I mean, for $ 8⁄9 men’s haircut I can see why) — cheap, got the job done 4⁄5 stars 2nd time(today): shampoo, deep conditioning treatment, and bangs cut — good hair wash, solid deep conditioning treatment(will have to see how long it lasts) — very nice ladies, talkative if you want to talk but understanding if you don’t — love love my haircut — not very complicated cut as I just need edges trimmed and then simple side swept bangs but it looks great, especially after I got it blow dried. — very kind for giving me a discount but even without it the total cost would’ve been $ 35 which would’ve been the cost at a fancier salon just for a haircut. If you want a no-frills, simple neighborhood hairdresser, Lisa’s is the perfect place to go.

I have a short hairdo right now and I went in to Lisa’s because it was next to my dry cleaners and I thought it would be a fast and cheap way to get a short trim around my ears and in the back and clean up my bangs. Instead she trimmed all around and my bangs look horrible! If you are a woman trying to get a cut at Lisa’s I suggest bringing a picture… perhaps that would have helped.

Lady’s that work here are super hard workers and do great job. I only get my hair cut with them, the guys that have cut my hair have done a bad job and given me bad attitude. I would recommend this place but let the lady’s do the cut.

All I can say it’s positive. I call Tina, she even must have my number on caller ID. Before I even say a word, she answers very politely. Hello Ed! At what time do you want to co me in?. She’s always busy, so she gives me time options to choose from. I go in, she knows my style and it’s a pleasure to get my hair cut. Extremely polite, nice and a cut to perfection. Need I say more?

My wife and I both needed a quick, inexpensive cut with acceptable quality. I have challenging hair because it is thick and blond, a rarity now in the Silicon Valley. Rose cut my hair with great care and precision. She did not rush the work, but trimmed and snipped until she was happy with the result. I clearly got more than $ 10 worth. Ling did my wife’s trim and layer, and similarly did a wonderful job. Both ladies were pleasant and sociable, and did not burden us with their life stories. This experience was as good as it gets! Go see Rose and Ling for haircuts.

I’ve always gone to Lisa’s since I was a child & thought they did okay. My boyfriend kept trying to tell me to go to a real salon and I told him I rather spend $ 10 vs $ 50 if I feel they do okay. Well officially I’ll say it, my boyfriend was right! I’ve had long hair my whole life and decided to go short for the first time ever. I told the lady I wanted my hair right below my shoulders, she cut it above my shoulders! Also instead of using scissors like any normal person would, she chopped the length of my hair with an electric machine for MENS hair! My cut is uneven and HORRIBLE! I’ve never cried because of a haircut, and they changed that for me! I still can’t get over it I hate it so much Unless you’re a man who needs to be shaved bald I suggest you go else where!

I thought I should write an update. Although the staff is friendly, I wasn’t happy the last few time I had my haircut with Tina. I used to get my hair cut really short – fading the sides and the back and getting the top cut short. But, recently, I have been growing out my hair. I went there and asked to simply trim the top and taper around the sides and the back. Tina cut too much off the top and shaped the sides and barely touched the back of my head. It looked like a reverse fade. She said if I didn’t like it, that I can come back and she can fix it. If she doesn’t fix it, then I’ll start going elsewhere unless I want to start fading my hair again.

Lisa’s Perfect Cuts is a great value. For $ 10 plus a tip, you get a great haircut(by my standards)… With good service and usually a very short wait. Highly recommended! To see the zap video review… visit .

Lisa’s Perfect Cuts, my go-to place with my older sister when I want to redye my hair, touch-up my roots, or simply just trim some split ends. I recommend making an appointment the day before so you don’t have to wait as long as the other people who just simply drop-by without a scheduled appointment. Thanh spent a lot of time on my hair, and she also knows what suits you best. I really didn’t know what color I wanted to get, but I just knew that I wanted to get a color where my roots wouldn’t grow out so noticeably and fast. Just trust Thanh’s instincts; she definitely knows what looks best for my hair, better than I know what’s best for myself, haha. Thus, she gave me a dark brown color along with some lowlights and I couldn’t be happier. She also gave me a V-back(my standard haircut style) and managed to trim all my split ends in less than 10 minutes like a pro. Happy customer means happy Michelle, and happy Michelle means happy tip jar :)

A former Supercuts customer who one day left due to a long wait there, and right across the other side of the parking lot was Lisa’ Perfect cuts. That was almost 10 years ago! I haven’t been back to Supercuts since(I’m surprised they are still in business). I get the same cut for one low price of 8 $(9 if you use credit/ATM Card) plus several dollars tip(they deserve it). A couple of stylists have gone the extra step for me, like washing my hair when I had the super glue hair gel. Great cuts, excellent customer service, all staff have been very friendly, open til 9pm on weekdays, and low cost… it doesn’t get any better than this. They have tons of regulars there and they do take reservations for certain hairstylists. I try to go during 9am– to 4pm on weekdays if possible, when there’s less folks. I can’t speak for the women, as they may have more styling needs, however, I have noticed regulars who go there for coloring and permanents. If your a man who needs a fancy Barber shop«Artistic» hairstyle, this isn’t the place for you. There are plenty of other places for that, and you will pay extra for artistic flair. Lisa’s Perfect Cuts is a place where you get a simple cut for a low price. I call it the«In and Out Burger» of hair cutting at it’s best. Update 12/10/2013. The basic haircut price is now 10 bucks, but it’s still very reasonable!

Tina has been cutting my hair since I was 7 years old. I’m now 30. She is respectful, listens to what you want, and always remembers what’s going on in my life. She never does a rushed job even though cuts are only $ 8. Just do the right thing and tip well, this place is really under priced.

Forrest Gump’s mama always said, «Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.» Lisa’s Perfect Cuts is also like a box of chocolates. Why? Well first, when I come here I have no clue how busy it’s going to be. I come 0.5 to 1 hour before closing time, and sometimes the place is quiet except for two customers being served, and other times there are five dudes waiting in line. And speaking of lines, there isn’t a real one. No sign in sheet. You have to pay attention to which people were there before you, and which came after you. «Anson, you da fool,» you might say. «Lisa’s can’t control whether five dudes decide to show up on a synchronized schedule.» Fair enough. BUT! most of all, what I never know is how my hair will turn out. I get it cut pretty short — leave 1 inch on the top, fade going down, and #1.5 clippers on the sides. Sometimes my haircut ends up looking too square, sometimes it’s too round, and occasionally it’s just right. Like Goldilocks.(Get it? «Locks»? Har har) It also often ends up looking uneven between one side and the other because I have a stupid cowlick in the back. I usually have to point this out for them to fix it. How is it that I notice, but they don’t? Who’s the professional haircutter here? In the end, I always leave with at least a passable haircut. Sometimes it still looks a bit funny, but it’s forgotten by the next day. At least the price is only $ 8 by cash or $ 9 by credit card — pretty hard to beat!

It’s a standard place for guys needing the military cut or something like it. As far as getting a fancy cut that requires more detail, be careful who you chose. When I’ve come in, it’s mostly for them to even out the back(since I tend to cut my hair). But when Lisa is here, I always choose her. She’s really good and listens to exactly what I want. She’s the namesake of this salon but no longer owns it. So she’s not always here. When I or my husband need a cut or a trim, we ask for her.
