Very clean & fresh food. Costs a little more than what you’d typically pay at a taqueria, but definitely worth the quality and customizability you get. I’ve eaten here every week or two for a few months. Generally isn’t very crowded. Online ordering is also really convenient.

This place is so good and are willing to change the dish up for my allergies. Restaurant quality food ten times better than Chipotle. I even had the shrimp it was bomb.

Decent Mexican food spot in the area. Would eat here only if I was in the area and had a taco craving. The tacos are decent but a bit pricey for a small portion of meat and salsa. Lots of other options close by in the Sunnyvale area. Chicken and pork tacos were ok, but the steak taco was dry and bland.

Okay so 1 star goes to my server Ivan– he was knowledgable and very patient with me. It was slow when I went in so after he was done with me at the cash register, he went around wiping off tables and keeping the restaurant clean! Thumbs up! Second star goes to the fact that the food is cooked to order so it’s fresh and it only took about three minutes which was great because I always wait till I’m on the brink of starvation to eat(: Third star goes to the fact that the food does taste good and there are tons of different choices which is always great . Minus 2 stars due to the fact that the meat portioning is extremely off– I paid an extra 1.30 $ for 4 pieces of shrimp and 2.30 $ for about ten pieces of cut up steak so sad me :(I paid a Total of 10.82 $ for my entire meal which is what I pay at chipotle and I’m not as filled. And they ran out of sour cream! Sigh. Otherwise I’ll probably come back and try again since it’s literally two seconds away from my home. Update: Wow whoever is the Indian looking cashier guy is a rude JERK and needs help with customer service. One thing that I cannot stand is spending my money and the people there are rude. Plus the burrito was not as tasty as it was before and ended up throwing out half of it. I probably won’t be returning.

Burritos were pretty good. Decently sized and priced. Nothing special but was quick and easy. Store is well maintained. Bathroom was absolutely spotless.

Boy do I hate giving one stars… I need to catch up on my amazing reviews. But this one needs to be noted… like now. I decided to stop in for the first time to grab some lunch. I am starving… I am still starving… So I walk in and wait in line. It started with the order taking process, slow as a snail trying to win a race. Ok maybe he is new, it’s ok, I can exercise patience. So 10 minutes later in a 4 person long line I place my order. I need to make sure you are aware of the 10 minute wait if you are like me rushing to grab food on a 30 min lunch«hour». Ten minutes… gone. So anyways, I order fast and get out of the way. As I am paying I look over his shoulder at presumably the owner handling all the food with his bare hands. NOGLOVES. He was touching everything around him and the food. Door handles are not excluded here. Then I see him use his fingers to grab dripping chopped onions and toss them on someone’s burrito then flick the excess juice off his fingers into their burrito. This was the moment I knew I screwed up coming here. Call me a germ a phobic, but that’s just gross… So I walk over to wait for my bare hand assembled burrito. 15 minutes later my name is called… yes 15 minutes. I had mere minutes to haul a** back to work. So I sit down to eat and the chips are stale, but the guacamole was good. Now the burrito… I ordered«on the lighter side» chicken burrito. So gross… hard to put in words. After eating it for a minute due to the fact that I was really freaking hungry… I decide to cut it open. See picture. All black beans and rice. I had to dig for the little bits of chicken… Well now my stomach is turning. I can’t say if I feel ill because of the food or the entire experience and visual in my mind as I eat. God only knows… But to be fair, I have been to High Tech Burrito before in Los Gatos near whole foods and it was SOMUCHBETTER. This place was pure disappointment. Will not be back. Panera next door is WAYYYYYYY better…

Such a disappointment! I was so excited to try this place out but it was a huge let down. Not so much on the food but on the terrible service and attention to detail. First off when I got there the place was empty and there was no one at the register. I waited several minutes until someone finally came to take my order. Ok I can let that go, but when it came to getting my food, that was it for me. I ordered a simple bowl with chicken, brown rice, and black beans. I took my order to go and when i got home to enjoy my food, it was completely wrong! They gave me the opposite of what I ordered. They gave me pinto beans, white rice, oh and NO chicken! NO chicken!(my favorite part of the meal!)! Yet they charged me for it! Wtf?! It was such a huge let down. Dont know if i’ll ever come back. Tip: make sure to check your order people.

Cash and card accepted. High Tech Burrito is in the same plaza as Panera on Lawrence and Arques and offers lots of plaza parking. I’ve tried this place a few times on different days and each time I come here the food gets worse and worse. Third time’s a charm and after this third time I think I’m done giving it chances. I’ve tried various items like their burritos and salads since I split with other people and I don’t think the taste is worth the long wait. Plus it’s pretty dirty here so it’s hard to find good places to sit. This last time I ordered a shrimp burrito, no rice, black beans, with all the fresh toppings, but ended up with a shrimp burrito with some lettuce, pico de gallo, and hellaaaaa onions. Omg… I couldn’t even pick out all the onions if I tried. Sorry, but I do not recommend this place. I think I’d rather go to Taco Bell.

2nd time coming and I am really digging this place. I like that I get to fully customize my food. It’s made to order so it’s not like Chipotle but this place so way better than Chipotle. For everyone who’s complaining about the wait, be smart next time and order online or thru their smartphone APP. Yes. THERE’S an APP! I didn’t know to do so the first time so i waited about 10 – 12 mins for my burrito even tho the place was virtually empty when I went. This time I ordered online 15 mins prior to arriving there. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the lady chef in the kitchen and by the male cashier and my food was pretty much ready and I left soon after. The first time I went in, I got a half steak, half chicken breast Thai burrito which I really enjoyed. This time I ordered online and discovered all the options they had including enchilada style! I love wet burritos so I had to try this. I went ahead and tried to construct the healthiest WET burrito I could while still making it flavorful. I ended up doing a ENCHILADASTYLEBURRITO with whole wheat tortilla with brown rice, a full order of chicken breast inside, with CAJUN sautee, onions, cilantro, NUCLEAR salsa(this salsa packs some heat and gave me a light sweat). It was flavorful and satisfying and let me tell you, this thing was pretty huge. But guess what? Because I constructed it with healthier alternatives, I still felt light as a feather despite shoveling this monster all down my gullet. I got my wet burrito craving down and didn’t have to suffer a lethargic food coma. This is not the cheesy, fatty, lardy kind of Mexican food that you’re accustomed to. So if you want that stuff, you can go to a real Mexican place. I mean I wouldn’t call this Mexican food just like you wouldn’t call Chipotle Mexican food. They are both in the same vain, i guess, but High Tech Burrito craps on Chipotle. On top of that, no e-coli here!(fingerscrossed). I will be back for more! — — -Wrapping it Up — — – Cons: A longer than normal wait if you order in-store Americanized Mexican style food Food can be more pricey than your avg burrito place when similarly equipped. Pros: Healthier alternative All foods are completely customizable So many flavorful options Variety of salsas and sauce mixes Hot, fresh and made to order Great for health nuts Great for the fitness crowd Friendly staff Online ordering Phone App ordering HAPPYGRUBBIN’!

Good was great! The build your own burrito was nice, lots of options to choose from. I put the nuclear hot sauce on it and was not impressed by it… The chips and avocado dip were great and having XXX Vitamin Water on the fountain was an excellent touch. The check in and receive a free amigo entrée and is a bunch of crap. All it is either free cheese, sour cream or guacamole on your item as long as you order another full entrée. Thanks for saving me 60 cents.

I use door dash a lot. I saw this place on the list today while I was working. I ordered a couple salads. I specified that I needed forks. I’m at work and we don’t have utensils handy. Food arrives. No forks… great… I walk down the street to a fast food restaurant to get some. We start eating and I notice my salad is missing ingredients I asked for. The chicken breast is really tough and chewy. Not a lot of flavor. A big meh.

I had 3 street tacos and they were really tiny. Each one only had one tortilla(most places make street tacos with 2 tortillas) and a small spoonful of meat. The line was short, but it moved really slow. Luckily the food was ready quickly after we ordered. Prices are slightly higher than other places once you realize you have to pay for salsa and cheese. I don’t think I’ll be back.

I grew up going to High Tech Burrito, it was the first«fancy» burrito place I had ever been to. Fast forward a ton of years and I went to High Tech in Los Gatos and was pleasantly surprised that it was what I remembered. Fast forward again and we are at yesterday when I went to this location w my son & hubby. 1) ordering took FOREVER and it was complicated. I did not know that«3 amigos» were a choice of sour cream, guac, and or cheese. Aaaggggg 2) my mango shrimp bowl was good. 3) husband did not get a good bowl, and son’s bowl looked ok(except he did not eat too much). 4) the way the sun hits the restaurant at 6pm does not provide a lot of not sunny seats. 5) what I liked was how the lettuce was on the bottom of the bowl, it was in the juices and was a little soggy(but it was good). My husband pointed out that he did not like that part and enjoys Chipotle how the lettuce is crisp and on top. Anyhow– I like the variety of flavored you can order, but the service was seriously lacking. Will I go back– maybe.

The flavor of the food here is good and it’s made to order. Not really sure why it’s called high tech burrito though. We bought a chicken burrito, chips and salsa with drink and, 1 chicken taco and 1 shrimp taco. Everything was $ 16 and change. To me it was a little pricey for a burrito and two tacos. Their chips however were really delicious! It wasn’t as greasy as, let’s say, Chipotle’s chips and the salsa had a lot of depth and flavor. Worth a try but definitely not my new go to burrito place.

Something different, something familiar… This is a small place. Seats maybe 20 people. Very simple menu. Similar ordering to chipotle… choose burrito or bowl, protien, rice, veggies, extras. Major difference is the flavor profiles. They have an option for choosing if you want a different flavor profiles such as thai or BBQ or Baja etc… and they cook the food(to order) with the ingredients to combine the flavors. Very interesting. This allows for a wider variety of choses than somewhere like chipotle. Clerk at the counter was really awesome in explaining the profiles. Coke machine, iced tea and bottled coke on the refreshment side. Today i had the Baja steak which was tasty! Will definitely be back to try the different options.

The first time I came here I got the chicken salad and it was amazing. Today I decided to go back for the salad and my experience was not the same. When I placed the order for the chicken salad the girl asked me whether I wanted thigh or breast(that question never came up during my first order). I told her to give me whatever is supposed to come with, which ended being chicken breast. Other huge difference was the taste. My first salad came with hot, tender and flavorful chicken; today’s chicken was cold and dried up(you can tell it was not fresh due to meat discoloration). Yuck! Not sure where this went wrong, but I am willing to give them another try as long as they serve me the original salad.

Always looking for good Mexican and alternatives. Fast casual with some twists on the taqueria. Shrimp taco and steak quesadilla came out to be higher than i thought it should be for the portions. Shrimp taco was solid but the quesadilla was average. Service is solid though and friendly. Im torn, in a hurry it’s fast but as a destination id say skip.

This burrito joint should gets zero stars. There is one guy in the kitchen making orders one at a time it took almost 20 minutes to get a order and get my food. they don’t even give you chips. The guy running the cash register was clueless and couldn’t have cared less about the wait or the ineptitude of the entire scene. I am going to make sure I tell every person at my Apple building. Across the street how ridiculous this place is.
