Harmony Dance Center

My 3.5 year old boy took the hip hop class for 3 months and hated it. And I am angry that the teachers didn’t bother to tell me that he hid from them to avoid going to class, and also that he would sit out and not participate. I kept asking them numerous times to give me feedback and they always insist he enjoyed the class. They just want my money i guess.
They do not answer their phone and do not return calls promptly. Annoying.
They harass you in December about buying June costumes, WHAT? So confusing. How do I even know if we will be in the class in June? Their bi-​annual performances are expensive and too showy for my taste… but maybe I would feel different if we had a girl enrolled?
My son loves to dance, but not with this place.

Last year I enrolled my 3 years old daughter to the Ballet class. She falled in love with her teacher who gave her a really good early dance experience The recital in June was so much fun for her and to watch. She will go for a new year and is already really excited about it. I highly recommend this dance studio!

The best part of Harmony Dance Center is that it is a really family oriented studio with high quality teachers. My daughter has been dancing there for 8 years now and started to dance in their competition team couple of years ago and has made so many strong friendship there. I like the style the competition team is doing (read age appropriate :-)).
Now my sons are taking Hip Hop classes in a Boys Hip Hop class with Lauren and Pamela. They love it and they are actually doing some cool moves!
All the teachers at this studio are really good performers too and they know how to teach high level technique always in a really warm environment which allows the kids to enjoy dancing while still working on technique and making progress.
Since I was at the studio almost everyday, I started to take some classes too (tried Hop Hop with Lauren — so much fun, Jazz with Kasey — such a workout, and modern and jazz with Anne-​Lorraine — didn’t know I could do those moves :-))
So I would recommend warmly Harmony Dance Center for small kids to teenagers but adults too.

My four-​year-​old daughter has been taking the kids’ combo (ballet & tap) class here for several months, and we love it. The school has been great to deal with (on all matters administrative and otherwise — very responsive and warm staff all around), and she has absolutely loved her dance instructors. I can’t imagine a better early dance experience; Harmony teachers have helped foster a love of dance and music (and apparently of performance!) in my daughter that I hope will stay with her all her life.

I LOVE harmony dance center!!! the teachers are very nice and help you with technique but you also have a lot of fun in all the classes. there are classes for all levels and many different types of dance including ballet, pointe, modern, jazz, and hip hop. definitely a great dance studio!!!
