I thought everyone at the office was very nice and explained everything to me regarding my insurance. The front desk person seemed to know how to talk with my insurance regarding my benefits. She was very pleasant and made me feel more comfortable having a rct without any gas. Dr. C explained as she worked on my tooth. She is very caring and i felt very confident with my decision seeing her for my rct. No one likes dental work or having to pay the high cost of having the work. If you go to any office its been my experience to pay up front always my portion. I would recommend seeing Dr. C again if needed

Originally I thought she did a decent job. The secretary is rude and not clear with monetary explanations at all. I got a root canal and I overhead Dr. Cook saying she wasn’t going to put the post in (which is $ 300) when I got my bill and paid (I wasn’t paying attention, numb from the pain). I got home, saw I was still charged & when I called, they said the $ 300 was necessary for the filling anyway. okay… on the one hand, this was a retreatment and it’s a hit or miss for the doctors too– it took her 3 hours, so I let it slide, thinking maybe it was for the ‘labor’ involved. Fine. But her so-​called expertise let to severe chafing on the side on my mouth, which broke open again (think: severe rubbing and scraping on open wound during 2 hour interval-​painful!) when she did the 2^nd root canal a week later. (not professional– they have techniques for that– I would have asked but my mouth was stretched wide open @ that point). This 1 star review comes from the fact that months later, after getting 2 crowns… and still having pains… I went to see another endodontist (@ my dentist’s recommendation) and the new Doctor said I would have to get retreatment since Dr. Cook didn’t get all the decay out. WTF??? Out $ 1000s and nothing fixed. I would NOT recommend!
Oh yeah– quick fact: retreatments are not always successful, but she also did a regular root canal and this review is taking her skill level into account. For the money spent and service received, it was definitely not worth it. I would recommend Dr. Gary Moss instead.

ok. the two stars isn’t really for the doctor. She did an ok job and I didn’t feel any pain during the root canal retreatment. The receptionist on the other hand is not very professional. I was referred by a dentist and on the first day I went there to make an appointment, I was told it would cost me X dollars for the whole process but the doctor would see me that day. I wasn’t told there was a separate charge for that day’s «consultation». When I go in for the actual retreatment, the receptionist waits till my procedure is done and I am in no condition to speak with all the numbness to tell me my insurance is maxed out and I have to pay $ 600…ok fine, i shd have checked the insurance myself and I gave her the benefit of doubt and paid it… although in my experience, in other dentists offices, they let you know beforehand the cost. The WTF moment came one month later when I get another bill from her for an extra $ 200 consultation fee… when I called about it, she was extremely nonchalant and gave me some shit about how I am paying for the doctors expertise… I asked why I wasnt told this before… no answer! all this for an optional procedure that I could have waited for a few months till my benefits rolled around. Well. lesson learnt.would not go back there again. Just amazes me how expensive healthcare is in this country… a colossal scam
