Sunnysight Optik

I just purchased beautiful glasses and a box of contacts from Sunnyside Optik and am very happy with the service and product I received. Diana and Brian are true professionals as well as being very personable and nice to deal with. Brian has extensive knowledge of lenses and is a perfectionist on the product they produce. Diana also has expensive knowledge and let me know which of the frames I picked out would work best for my prescription. The ones she suggested were not the highest priced frames of the lot I chose which was truly refreshing when dealing with an optical business. The look of the store is sophisticated and glamorous which from the outside might give the impression of being very expensive. It was great to find that they have beautiful frames in all price ranges and take many insurance plans just like other businesses. The store and its look is a great addition to Sunnyside so I hope they keep the same service, selection, and look; we in Sunnyside like a bit of glamour.

This place is great! I went there for my daughters glasses and could not be any happier. My daughter was nervous about wearing glasses for the first time since she’s only 6. Brian and Diana made her feel comfortable as they were sweet and patient while she picked her glasses. This optical has a lot of options to pick from kids glasses to men and woman sunglasses. I was able to get an eye exam myself on the same day, to my surprise they accept VSP plans. I will be going back and highly recommend this place. I couldn’t be happier with the great service they provided.

I went back to the brand new Sunnysight Optiks to get the lenses for my glasses and I had an even better experience. This time the optician and owner Brian was there and he told me «I love what I do and I’m very good at it». I totally agree.
I have a new stronger prescription that I was unsure of using in case it would not feel right. He took out a box that has an optical apparatus and used lenses with the new prescription so I was able to walk around both indoors and out to really see how it felt. I could see tiny words clear across queens Blvd. and that was very cool. He also used a special new lens that not everyone has.
On top of that I had another pair of glasses which I decided to use my regular prescription and he made then for me on the spot, while I waited.
That is service! And with a smile.
They have an ophthalmologist onsite that can do exams. This is the place to go. So friendly and helpful.

I ordered a pair of ray bans here on a whim. I will definately be back. Service is impeccable. I didn’t realise until after I had left the shop that they were in fact closed. They did not say a word, they happily helped me and ordered my sunglasses. They were so nice and so friendly AND there glasses are competitively priced as well. My sunnies arrived within the week they specified and they are amazing!!! Highly absolutely recommend!!!

Great experience. Staff are so so helpful. Never rushing you or getting annoyed. If you want Ray bans or typical looking frames then this place is good. However if you are looking for unique and high quality frames and sunglasses you are going to LOVE this place… seriously.
Oh and its super easy to get to this location its right off the subway. Another plus.
