Worst haircut EVER! Maggie should go back to what must have been her former career trimming hedges. I even asked her to take her time and she quipped «I only have one speed, watch the TV.» I got exactly what I told her at the beginning I didn’t want. The humiliation I have already experienced from my family and granddaughters will pass. We just laugh now. Probably won’t be back. However everyone that asks I will be sure to tell them about Maggie the hack at Sport clips — Clackamas.

This place is really hit and miss on the quality of haircut you get. It’s like no matter what you say the stylist just does what she’s been trained to do but… My biggest issue here is how long it takes.
They say they don’t accept reservations yet I’ve sat in the waiting area by myself thinking I was next only to find out someone or even two people «called ahead» for the stylist I requested/​was waiting for and put their name on the «list»… Kinda sounds like a reservation to me?
And trust me, if you find one of them that cuts your hair good, you will want to request them on your next visit, don’t risk getting stuck with a newby.
So with the waiting area empty, had I known people were ahead of me I might not have waited and went somewhere else — as I do value my time more than wasting it waiting in a Sport Clips lobby!
Then because I couldn’t wait any longer for the stylist I wanted — when I finally did get to a chair, the quality of haircut I got was that of someone still in beauty school… And yes, speaking from experience there as I was the victim of several bad cuts and colors while my girlfriend went through beauty school lol!

I took my son to this location on a sunday morning. The girl who greeted us was pleasant and turned us over to Alissa who was patient and understanding to my 10 year old with sensory processing disorder. I explained his angst when we first arrived and how he had this special needs situation. Alissa did awesome. Calm, patient and reassuring to Jack. As the haircut went on he began to get itchy and didn’t like the cape. Alissa said no problem you can take that off. So he did. Out of the blue someone else started to «bark» orders to her and criticisms that the state would give her fine if they came in and saw that. He looked at me and asked what he did wrong. I said nothing it is fine. So on with the hair cut we went My kiddo was reaching his max and I knew we had little time to get the hair cut done. he came and gave me a hug a couple of times and then again OUT OF the BLUE Melissa Dees BARKED at me and pointed to my son (while she had a customer in her chair) If your SON would sit still she would be able to do a better job and get this done. My son JUMPED out of the chair immediately crying and asking why this woman was YELLING AT HIM. I said we are going NOW. Alissa I could see was so embarrassed and she immediately took us up front to pay. I said to MELISSA God Forbid you ever have a child with special needs. She (without looking at me told the other girl to comp the haircut) BTw the hair cut was not finished and he is totally looking weird and uncut, unfinished I gave Alissa a tip for her efforts. She as amazing. Melissa could have come over to me quietly and asked or found out what was happening. Her voice was SO LOUD the entire shop heard her and saw my sons hurt and devastation as a result of her crase bullying and judgment. She had no idea that for this boy to come to a NEW shop with a NEW person was HUGE for him to WANT TO DO. He wanted to see the game screens. She stole a piece of his trust and I will not accept that. She is the manager there and DOESN’T warrant it given her lack of compassion and leadership.

Waited over 25 min. Just walked out only had 3 people working people waiting left and walk in said forget it. Wasn’t even a weekend. Disappointed.

Outstanding place to get a hair cut! I had never been to a sports clips before, but they must have a deal for first timers with the MVP treatment. You get not only a cut, but also a shampoo and conditioning wash, and head and face massage, and a hot towel on the face, all while sitting in a massage chair!
The girls and ladies on the shop are better than average looking, and mine was very cute. She took me in if it away, with no wait. I pretty much gave her full reign with my hair, because I have no preferences. She put some product in it as well before finishing up. I will definitely come back!
Oh, and whee else do you get to watch sports while getting a clip???

These were my thoughts before I came into SportsClips, and Jessica fixed me up with a great looking haircut. I am originally from San Jose, CA, so I know the importance of a nice fade or blend — Jessica does it right! I’ve been in here a hand full of times, and I’ve never been upset with my cut or customer service experience when I’ve seen Jessica.
The only reason why I didn’t go up to five stars is because the other stylists need to step up their game (in styling and customer service). There’s been a few times where my stylist didn’t cleanly cut my sides, or just wasn’t in a very good mood and showed it to her customers. I’m not saying someone should never be in a bad mood, but in the customer service industry, you have to at least attempt to be light-​of-​heart.

I was slack-​jawed by the fantastic service I received here. Danielle gave me a Perfect haircut. Very professional presentation and production. She talked about the products as she applied them. Their knowledge of their business and their trade was commendable. It was a bit more than I expected to pay for a quick cut, but I will return and pay for the full treatment… the employees are worth every penny. My only regret is that the whole process didn’t last longer. They were, in fact, quite efficient.
