Our girls basketball team was scheduled to play a Washington State regional playoff game in Sunnyside this Saturday. I called several venues in the Sunnyside area and I have to tell you Rodger and his team were the only ones in the area willing to take on our bus load. Roger offered us an excellent menu and priced it perfect. Unfortunately, the venue was changed and we had to cancel our plans. Roger was understanding and supportive. Having talked to over 10 proprietors now, I have to recommend Roger and the Bön Vino as the kind of team that wants your business and will do what it takes to make sure you are happy. Next time I am in the area it is Bön Vino’s for me. Thanks Roger.

This is the best restaurant in Sunnyside and Yakima as well. Both the food and service are excellent. The best oatmeal I have ever had, full of berry compote, almonds and raisins and perfectly cooked. I have to come here once a month. I always eat here and am never disappointed. The menu is great and really live up to what you hope for, both for breakfast and lunch. I could gain 10 pounds just thinking about the pastries.

OMG! What a good restaurant! The service is friendly and prompt. The environment is really friendly. Now for the food… Our granddaughter ordered a cinnamon roll, mainly because her grandmother wanted a taste, it was served on a dinner plate and filled it. It was really really good! My husband and I had omelets and they were delicious. Highly recommend this place. We live in California but next time in the area we will be back. Thank you Unilocal for another successful referral.

Wow ! I can’t believe Sunnyside is home to a place like this ! Fresh food. With flavor. That tastes good. In a place that’s wonderfully decorated and CLEAN inside !? Even though I haven’t been here for lunch or dinner(I’ve looked over the menu and i seriously need too everything sounds super delicious and I know is authentic) the breakfast is what gots me head over heels . The chicken fried steak. The crepes. The waffles. The French toast. The pancakes. The boggers. All amazing . I’m not even going to lie I was raised in grandview therefor I was raised going to 10 – 4 but that is a place I’ve absolutely come to hate now because its disgusting food — when i discovered Bön Vinos it was a heaven sent. I don’t really mind if people don’t come to this hidden gem — it’s better if it’s kept a secret ! Lol ! So greedy but yes it’s that good. Your really seriously missing out if you don’t give this place a shot

I visit Sunnyside once or twice a year. Been wanting to try this place for at least two years. Finally, today was the day. I had an absolutely excellent mushroom cheese steak with house salad. My friend had the pulled pork that I was originally eyeing. He said it was the best hot sandwich he has had in years. These are not sandwich shop or fast food sandwiches. These are high grade perfectly crafted meals that happen to be served on delicious bread. It’s a bistro and bakery, only open for breakfast and lunch. The owner, Roger, introduced himself and shook our hands. I waited two years to finally eat here and I was not disappointed. I hope the community well supports this wonderful establishment. I’ll be back every time I am in town.

Great place for breakfast, there is something for everyone on the menu and they serve Café Umbria coffee !! I really like the assortment of pastries and the gluten free breads that are avaiable to go.

Great food, good beer and wines choices and lots of variety on menu. Dessert choices are nice too, but best of all it the only place we’ve been to lately that also had very reasonable prices. Service was good and personable. We will definitely come back again!

Awesome atmosphere, service and food! We noticed this place on Unilocal while on a Saturday morning trip from Spokane to Goldendale. Lucky us. Sunnyside is indeed fortunate to have such a place.

A place this yummy and cute in Sunnyside? Good for you guys! I was here for work and a colleague who frequents the area more often than I do suggested we meet here for lunch. The place was busy, the service was good, the food was excellent. I had a turkey sandwich which was toasted and came on rye. However, I asked for wheat which was no problem. I also had a field green salad which was fresh and refreshing. My colleague had the fettuccine Alfredo which he said was awesome! I was afraid to even try it because it looked so wonderfully rich I would have been sure to head straight into a food coma following the lunch hour. Make no mistakes, if you are in Sunnyside you want to eat here. Reasonable prices and fresh tasty food.

Despite living 45 minutes away, we are drawn to this Bistro for the incredible food, full bar selection, comfortable and elegant décor and proximity to some of our favorite wineries. The owner is not only an incredible, skilful chef, but he is also attentive and so is his staff. Most definitely a must visit whether you’re a local or visiting from out of town. Oh!, they cater too! And the food was mouthwatering fantastic! Salads, sandwiches, homemade hearty dishes, melt in your mouth meat specialties, bakery items, and more! I am one happy repeat customer!

I had never eaten at this bistro, but had heard the food was amazing and I was not disappointed. It was absolutely excellent! I’m a tough sell – a food snob and i set a high bar. It’s just too bad I don’t live in Sunnyside. We had a spinach salad with warm bacon dressing and egg-but it was the best salad I’ve ever had and I’ve had a heck of a lot of spinach salads with warm bacon dressing. The Panini was the perfect balance of a mild cheese and smoked ham – and yes, you could taste the smokiness of the ham without being overpowered. The tomato bisque was lovely and the trio was amazing in each one of it’s parts but really fantastic collectively. I wanted to hit the pastry case because it’s obvious they have superior skills there. The pastries were the desserts of European delis. But I was stuffed after the lunch. I live in Seattle and only wish there was something like Bön Vino where I live – Ballard which has a James Beard chef and no shortage of other excellent chefs. Sunnyside – you’re very lucky.

I made my first visit to this establishment for lunch today and thoroughly enjoyed a turkey and cranberry panini with coleslaw. The young waitress was very nice and took care of me. The dining room was pleasant and the bathroom was clean. The only negative was a lack of welcome when I walked through the door. The bistro wasn’t busy with only two tables of customers yet no one acknowledged me. I had to walk up to the counter and ask them what I needed to do as I had never been to the location before. Thus is where my sweet young waitress told me to sit anywhere I liked and she would take care of me. If working again in this location I would return for lunch. It has been noted that Sunnyside has an amazing lack of decent restaurants for a population of approximately 15,000 people!
