Lived here for 6 months. Interesting place. Lets start with price… as far as Miami goes… if you want a high-rise apartment, THIS close to the beach. Price is average. It sounds high, but welcome to Miami ! Staff is 99% latino so if you don’t understand Spanish, make sure you tell them to speak in English. They are bad to talk to each other in front of you in Spanish, which I found to be rude. If you decide to actually live here… know they do NOT do things in a hurry. I had a problem with a toilet, and it took them 3 months to fix it. Parking garage is one of the worst I have ever had to drive in. So confusing. This garage is made for compact cars. If you have anything larger than say a «Camry»…you will have difficulties navigating this garage. I had to leave 20 minutes early each time because it took me that long to get out of the parking garage. NOPARKING for your guest. EACHANDEVERY guest who comes to your house MUST use valet. There is no alternative. And a couple of years ago it was like $ 2 – 3 per hour. On the plus side… you are literally a block away from the beach. Awesome views of the city and ocean(I was on the 22nd floor). Only 5 miles away from SOBE, so it’s easy to call a cab and be there in just a few minutes. Plenty of food and even a grocery store all within walking distance. Lots of kids at the complex and beaches so it’s a very family friendly neighborhood. Aventura mall is only about 2 miles away. Great location for everything if you are looking to rent for a month or two. I wouldn’t suggest long term though. Too many tourists and staff not up to maintenance standards for my personal life. The pics that I said were helpful are exactly what the place looks like. The ones that I said were not helpful are ones that look nothing like the pic.

We enjoyed our stay at Intracoastal so much! But who goes to Miami and not have a good time? We stayed on the 24th floor of the 25 floor high rise that had a spectacular view of the bay, the ocean, and all the buildings, stores and scenery in between. It was amazing. During sunset and sunrise the view was even better. There is a convenient /market on the fifth floor of one of the buildings, a gym, pool, hot tub, valet parking, and a huge garage that was quite confusing at first. But after a few tries we got the hang of it. It’s a very busy community, with people coming and going all times of the day and night. With the beach a couple blocks away it was in a perfect location for all you beach lovers like me. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with a beautiful kitchen, fully furnished with nice décor that we found through Airbnb. I love using Airbnb whenever I can travel. It allows me to experience living as a local that a hotel doesn’t allow. The only thing you don’t get is room service and concierge but you learn to live without it. I loved waking up and going to sleep with that view. I literally felt on top of the world. It’s a beautiful place. One of the things that became a challenge for us however, was the lack of privacy we had on the balcony. Looking to your left or right you could see your neighbors clearly, and looking straight ahead of course. If you like walking around nude on your balcony, you won’t find privacy here, you may want to look into staying someplace else. If you’re afraid of heights I wouldn’t recommend a higher floor at all because the open concept of the balconies could pose a serious problem. Everything down below looked like toys. In a building that size you would think there would be more elevators in operation than just the two that were available. We had to wait so long for the elevator and when it came it would be packed with people coming, and going from all parts of the building, including the pool. Yes, they were wet and smelling like chlorine. A bit unpleasant to say the least but it was the wet dogs that took the smell over the top for me. The parking garage is confusing with no reasonable signage as to what floor you’re actually on so finding your way around wasn’t easy. Eventually we figured it out and it became a breeze. Still a little rethinking the signage placement would help dramatically. I heard the bay view and ocean view were really nice. From what I could see from the ground floor the ocean view is overlooking the highway towards some beach front property and the bay view has a sweet view of the city light at night that stretch miles and miles wide. Overall it was a great stay and we’ll definitely do it again!

We were very fortunate to have a view side of the ocean. This place has a modern touch to it. The only complaint I have is that at a certain time the a.c. gets turnt off so it gets pretty hot and humid. The shower that was shared could be more touched up. Towels definitely were sparse, needed more then they gave. But all in all, the place had most necessity there to use. I would use this place again if I had too. It’s an amazing location, feels like it is in the middle of everything and it’s easy to get to miami!

I lived on 21st floor for a year… The view is breath-taking(which is why 2-star), but: Originally from california, I wasn’t prepared for the level of disservice and rudeness at $ 1800/mo. The girls downstairs are ridiculously lazy. If you ask a question, its an inconvenience– regardless. The smells in the hallways from multicultural cooking make you breathe through your mouth… On the 20th floor, tenants were allowed to blast music and sing from the top of their lungs at 2am multiple times, forcing me to call security… And speaking of security, I got into it with one of them because he called me in the middle of dinner yelling at me for my guest parking in the garage. What he didn’t investigate was whether the spot she was in was MYSPOT! I had to go down and confront him face-to-face. The ensuing interactions were like stare-downs at a boxing match weigh in photo op… If you don’t care about smells and bad service, eat your heart out!
