I stopped in for a quick(or so I thought) lunch today. There was one guy waiting for his food when I came in and no one else. The guy at the counter was helpful and he recommended the Porky’s 305 burger. I ordered that with fries, which came out to about $ 12.50. The burger comes with mozzarella cheese, ham, bacon, potato chips and different sauces, one of which he said was a pineapple sauce. The flavors were awesome together. The fries were piping hot, but needed seasoning. The size was big enough to share with my wife if she was there. I finished the burger, but left most of the fries. Even though it was me and one other person waiting, it took upwards of 15 minutes to get my food. The prices are a tad high for this being a counter service type place and the hot dogs being $ 1 – 2 more than Edgars in Miami Beach. I would go back, but I wouldn’t seek the place out.

I am a Colombian hot dog and burger expert, I’ve eaten them my whole life. As far as those two menu items, they do a relatively good job. The arepas are just ok, I mean how can you make arepas with no butter? We even asked for butter and they don’t have any!!! Finally, they lose a second star for service and overall experience. It’s Halloween right now and their decorations are distasteful, my son was terrified! Finally, the server had a misunderstanding with our order and instead of accepting her mistake she told us we made the order incorrect. Service in general has its issues.

Let me just say, I am glad I didn’t read the reviews before I came to Los Perros. I would have missed out on an experience and the validation of the old adage, «don’t judge a book». I am befuddled and delited. I love love love hot dogs, but I have never before had a South American version of what Is considered the dominant example of «American» foods. So you might say, I «relished» the chance to finally try one. I walked into the restaurant at 3:15 in the afternoon and there wasn’t another customer in the joint. My first impression of the restaurant, not having read the Unilocal reviews was disappointment. It’s also true, we go to hot dog joints not for the décor, but in spite of it. I wasn’t deterred, I walked up to the counter, reviewed the menu, and ordered a «Super Perro». I sat down at a table and suddenly was feeling something that can only be described as buyers’ remorse. Somehow I was driven to open my phone and check out Unilocal.I first saw only 2.5 stars and began reading the most recent unflattering reviews. I will say it would be better for the restaurant if they could get the food out quicker. I was left with too much time to myself. I will cut to the chase, I don’t know what the others are talking about. I was extremely satisfied and pleased with Los Perros. I will definitely come back and try the other«Crazy Food». A suggestion would be to offer ¼ lb. option for the dog.

I not recommend this place to my worst enemy … the food is awful, meat, chips and vegetables are not fresh, it tastes old and tasteless. The worst was finding hairs inside the burger, besides that the food arrived one hour and a half late and cold The delivery service they use is a disaster, after arriving late the driver had no pen … I have to go and find a pen For him in my house because these drivers do not bring their working tools Then I call to complain to the restaurant and told the cashier what happened … And the answer i received was …” What I can do? «and they refuse to give me my money back. The service is horrible and the food tastes like the name says … LOSPERROS Dog food!!! Don’t use these service… what a bad experience

I’m obsessed with this place! Their porkys burgers are delicious, potatoes are delicious with quail eggs and pink sauce and I always get like 3 cheese empanadas! I’ve never had better empanadas! Soooo yummy

The burger was delicious and I loved the variety of sauces including even pineapple. I recommend mixing the pineapple with the pink sauce for dipping fries. Mmmm

I like this spot for 2 reasons. 1, it’s open till late. 2, they have awesome cheese fries and great pink sauce. The service is definitely lacking, but the atmosphere is decent if you’re looking for a spot to watch a soccer game or just hangout with friends(uninterrupted by servers, at all). It’s a cute neighborhood spot. Honestly, I like this more for the personality of the place than the food itself, but again — usually, by the early morning hours that my friends and I end up here, the food tastes great anyway. It’s worth checking out just for the fries. Believe me, you’ll want a close go-to middle of the night type food spot to fulfill your cravings. Best of luck figuring out what a maicito is(for those of us who don’t know) xD

Horrible! The burger and arepas were actually decent, but nowhere did they warrant a price($ 10 for a burger without sides). But the services was EXTREMELY slow. It just happened that we were in a hurry, but there was just one waitress working. Also the restaurant doesn’t allow to order or pick up orders at the bar, so this just extends the time needed even further. And, well, given this I had to tip(the delay was not really the lone waitress’s fault, but due to understaffing), which makes the place ridiculously overpriced. Will never return.

Don’t waste your time going here, just find somewhere else. The service is horrible, it took over 40 minutes to get our food when the place was slow I can only imagine if it has been busy. The food is highly overpriced, I would be fine with paying the price IF the food was actually good but it’s not. Long story short go somewhere else.

When ordering to pick up they never get it right… getting tired of it… they always say it will be ready in 10 min, if you are there within 10 min they will make you wait for other 15 min, but if you go at 20 they will have thrown it away because you took too long and make you wait another 15… not sure what is best… conclusion: take away orders from this place are a total disaster!

My friends and I came to this Los Perros after exploring the nature trails at Oleta(yes, it is a 5 minute drive away), and I am not sure if it was due to a bit of exhaustion or bad service, but this place failed to impress. The food here is affordable and tasty, but there were three things that I remember from my day dining here. #1) If you are serving food, all items should come out at once. My friends and I ordered various items, but all food came out at different times with a 10 minute gap in-between each item. It was very annoying, and I feel all kitchens should master the art of preparing several items at the same time. #2) If you are male and need to use the bathroom, make sure you aren’t a bit nervous about getting stuck behind doors because their bathroom door might lock you in. Just apply a bit of pressure to the door, and you should be fine. #3) They are a bit slow in bringing you refills of water. Let me stress that my friends and I were one of two parties at the restaurant, and the other diners arrived maybe 15 minutes after us. Either save that water, or feel free to flag down the waitress. Refills of water should always be made available at a restaurant. Overall, it could have been a better experience. I may go elsewhere the next time I am at the Oleta area. For the price of food here, there are other options you can explore.

This place has a virtually identical menu to some of the other Columbian places around town(la moon, munchies etc). It is perhaps a little more pricy than some of its competitors, but the food quality here is solid. The beef empanadas have plantains in them which makes them really, really tasty. The porky burger is humongous. I can’t believe how big this thing was. I did not have any problems with the service. It took a little while to get the food, but that just means it’s fresh I suppose. Fairly expensive. That’s the biggest issue here. Otherwise, pretty solid.

What a rip off 13 bucks for a hot dog no wonder there was no one there I understand it’s a high end area but I think you should at least give fires and a drink with that price and if you dare charge that much they better be great second the bathrooms are missing the toilet seats I have never seen that before and the door is broken so you have to struggle to open it this place deserves the bad rap they have should have Unilocaled before going

What happened here! I’ve been there for a couple times. One of the few places that is open till later in Sunny Isles. The hot-dogs are always great. The burgers are okay. Always big and good flavor. But I notice the service is getting worse and worse every time I go there. Last time me and my girlfriend went as we are approaching the door we see the waitress sitting on the table outside. She stands up and opens the door. Inside is some other employee enjoying the TV while the table in front of him is dirty and full of bottles. Bad, really bad. Prices went up. I mean very up. U$ 18 for the Porkys(Burger)! Now they included«fries». Expect to get probably 10 french-fries, very mediocre portion to justify the price? The food took a while(20+min) to come… even when no one was there on a saturday night around 8pm. The burger is bigger, same flavor. Hot-dog was good. We are done and ask for the check. Waitress never come to the table to ask if everything was okay. She drops the check with the table full of plates and dirty napkins. Why not clean before dropping the check? There is no one there! Stop being lazy! I used to work in restaurants and I know how a good service works. I don’t mind leaving 30% or more in tips because of an excellent service. But this mediocre service didn’t even deserve a 15% tip. Sorry. Will not come back.

I got in to this place last night with my mom,(it was not our first time by the way) we wanted to sit indoors so we went inside and as soon as we open the doors this awful smell gave us the welcome it smell like(pipeline water coming back to the place), so we have to move outside, we asked for menus and the waitress stayed the were doing new menus and didn’t got them yet, we have to order with out menus and since it was not our first time we were familiar with the menu and of course the prices. My mom ordered Arepa con chicharron and My self a porkis chicken burger, we also ask for a side of French fries but the waitress said it won’t be necessary cause now the burgers come with French fries. The arepas where burnt, my burger had a very bad and weird taste, French fries extremely oily and the portion was so small we have to order an extra side of French fries, we try to ignore the bad taste and the burnt food to not spoil the night and we almost did it until we asked for the check, the burger that usually was $ 7 dollars and change was now $ 20DOLLARS same thing with the other plate. Bill was $ 53DOLLARS for one burger, one arepa con chicharron, side of French fries and two sodas, no wander why we were the only costumes Saturday at 10:30 pm. This fast food is way way over price and have no good taste at all as it used to, definitely not coming back to this place

Called for 20 minutes to place a pick up order and no one picked up the phone even though I called 2 seconds earlier to ask when their closing time would be(1hr later). I mean, I understand you might get just with other things, but I’ve been calling for 20 minutes non stop.

OMG… Wow… Ok. My husband and I were in Sunny Isles for a gala. It was a late Saturday night, we were hungry and he suggested«The Colombian place» because it was probably the only thing open at this time. Ok, let’s go! We were seated and there were a couple other tables there, but most business was done as take-out. My first warning, and maybe when I should’ve fled, was when I used the bathroom and noticed THERE’S NOTOILETSEATONTHETOILET!!! I was tipsy, forgiving, laughed about it to my husband, and we ordered. We ordered the marranitas and the super perro. For the marranitas we were asked it we wanted grilled or shredded meat. My husband chose shredded. The marranitas were served first. What we were served was tostones with cardboard on top! The meat was so dry and odd tasting that I spit it out! When I have to spit out food at a restaurant, to me, that means I’m not paying and I’m leaving. The waitress comes over with the perro, and my husband explains to her that we’re leaving and that we’re not paying and tells her why. Here is the conversation that ensues: Waitress: «Well, you should’ve ordered the grilled meat, it’s not as dry» Me: «Ok, well we’re not happy and we’re leaving» Waitress: «But then I’m going to have to pay for your meal!» Me: «To me that sounds illegal. And that seems to be between you and the owner, and not my problem.» Waitress: «Well let me see if the manager will talk to you.» The waitress proceeds to the front counter and checks out 3 take-out orders. I tell my husband, «I’m Done!» and we leave. In the parking lot, I’m getting into the car, I turn around and the cook is out of the kitchen, outside, staring at us. Is that the manager? Who knows… I look at my husband, and we agree, «WHYDIDN’T WEJUSTGOTOMCDONALDS!!!» THISPLACEIS A POOREXCUSEFORANEATINGESTABLISHMENT! My poor husband didn’t spit out his bite, and was sick the rest of the night…

Greasy over priced basic food with rude service. I went twice and each time had to deal with obnoxiously rude people at the counter who were smacking gum and spoke almost no English. Made a mistake and ordered something that had pork pieces in it, right away realized it and tried to change my order. There was no one else in the place and there was no way they had already started preparing my order since I had JUST placed it. Yet she wouldn’t let me change my order bc I paid cash!!? No thanks!

At first I thought… this is street food put inside a corner building. Whats is going to be «great»… But then the delightful Super Perro arrived with its mouth watering sauces and loaded with crushed potato chips. This is crack! Seriously crack! I want it now! Tomorrow night for dinner! And on Saturday for Breakfast! Drunk! Sober! Silly! or Sane! I want this any time of the day. I got the Sachipapa itch!!! OH M G, and the corn covered with cheese. I could eat everything on this menu! Everything! Go here, get some greasy food, and become extremely guiltfully satisfied!
