The service was really good. There was a lady that helped us find everything we needed for our DYI project. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff.

The only hardware store in my area. Reading the bad reviews didn’t stop me from getting what I needed. I needed new light bulbs and I got it here. The price? I don’t know the standard prices of such but all I know, I walked in and out so quickly because I was the only customer and there was only one staff present. Dusty but I didn’t expect it to be the cleanest. It saved me time and gas to travel to find exactly what I wanted.

Very bad service:( High prices and no personality ! You’d think a so called mom & pop store would try to be the best cause its all we got here in Sunland! Really sad:(the guy at the check out counter who has been there awhile is really scary and acts like he just got out of Prison! The owners need new staff! Stock up a little better! And Lower price’s just a little and this Hardware Store could be what we all need!

This place used to be the go to spot before it changed ownership. Now, like the others have said, prices are sky high for old merchandise that’s ancient and dusty and the fix-it gurus that used to work there are long gone.

Good if you need something in a pinch locally, but everything is expensive. Regular things that you wouldn’t think should be that much are definitely a few dollars more than OSH or Do It Center. Like I said, it’s great if you need something in a pinch, especially because this place is 3 minutes from me, but it just doesn’t even seem like a mom and pop shop.

What can I say about the TVH. One word would describe it… OVERPRICED. Everything in this store is way overpriced and if you need someone to help you look for something, forget it, you’re on your own pal. Too bad they closed down the Home Depot that was on this same street. Dunno why? It’s not like it would make the freak show they call sunland any worse than it is.

After this place was sold a couple of years ago it went downhill. Then after the community was able to keep Home Depot out. To show their appreciation, they raised their prices. The owners are not at all friendly and know nothing about the hardware business.

We went here to get some keys copied. Some work, some don’t. That’s problematic. If it were somewhere else, I’d probably go in and return the non-working keys– but this place seems like that would be such a hassle that it’s not worth the $ 5. We were going to get some other things for the house– lightbulbs, a couple of hoses, etc. But decided we’d rather drive to another store after seeing what these items were priced at. They had some 9 volt batteries, obviously repackaged individually, probably from the 99 Cents Store that were priced at a whopping $ 4 each. Um, no thanks! I can drive to the 99 cents store and buy 2 of their crappy, out of date batteries for ¼ the price. The store as a whole is overpriced, and seems to have a theft issue. They have mirrors and cameras everywhere as well as a sign saying that shoplifters will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. While I’m compassionate that a hardware store stocks many small items that are easily pocketed and stolen, the solutions these store owners have chosen lend a dystopian ‘big brother is watching you, you crook’ air to the store. They would get one star– but the other star is due to them being nice folks, and the store does have just about anything you’ll ever need hardware wise.
