I have been wanting to take my sons here for haircuts. They get clipper cuts so low maintenance. I had seen a sign for $ 10 hair cuts. The went up to $ 12. Today I paid $ 14. For a clippers cut. I can understand if they had a wash, dry or wet it. They were in the chair for 10 min. Then when I went to cash out, my bill $ 28.00 I was going to use my debt card. They won’t use it. There is a $ 40.00 minimum. So needless to say I won’t be returning.

This is a hidden gem. I have a somewhat unusual haircut and the owner has been amazing in getting it exactly how I want it. It’s cheap, fast, and beautiful inside. The wooden floors and sunny windows make it feel homey. It doesn’t smell bad(or like chemicals) like most salons, though I bring my own shampoo and products because I’m sensitive. I still have Glamourama do my complex dye job, but they are SO slow about everything. I hate getting my hair cut, so quick is good. Try these guys. If you’re nervous about a cheap salon ask for the owner, Heather McCoy. Also, a friend had chest surgery last year and couldn’t shower. The people at McCoy’s place washed her hair a few times a week for free. A real kindness. Cash or local check only, but there is an ATM in the store next door.

My husband got his hair cut here yesterday. I’m not sure who cut his hair, but she was really nice and did a great job! We walked in at 4 and they asked us to come back an hour later(they don’t normally do walk-ins, I think). It was only $ 12 too, so it was cheaper than Supercuts and infinitely better. They only take cash and local checks, so be prepared for that.

Never again. This business is brand new but I can’t imagine it will last too long, given that they gave me one of the worst haircuts I’ve ever had, from a rude and disinterested stylist, at a price higher than other discount hair salons in the Valley.
