I decided to write a quick review because I can’t believe that no one else has anything to say about the old lady at the register, it can’t just be me that she is consistently rude to. I actually return to this place because the food is pretty good and reasonable, but honestly if you do not have good service it makes me not want to return. Vipa(the waitress) is really nice and goes out of her way to make sure you enjoy your meal, and yes the bus boys are awesome, but fretting when I have to pay at the end of my meal because of a rude old lady is not good. She always gives me an attitude(I have no idea why) but the last straw was last Thursday morning when I took my family to celebrate my sons graduation, my dad asked for a table for 7, she was rude to him & gave him an attitude, she also made a noise as if she was annoyed by him asking for the table. I can put up with a lot more than my dad, but I did promise him I would Unilocal our experience(even though he doesn’t know what Unilocal is lol)

My family has been long time customers here we would eat here at least twice a week. My family moved and we haven’t been there for a month or so and I was craving a club sandwich so we went and the service was already bad but now it’s just unacceptable. I’ve been eating there since I was about 12 years old I’m almost 30 I know all the employees the only nice ones are the guys that clean the tables. I waited almost a hour and a half for 4 plates of food they brought one plate out I waited about 15 – 20 more minutes then asked where the other food was and all I got was a rude response from the owners daughter she was our waitress my parents and I will never go there again don’t waste your time

I came here on a Saturday morning for breakfast around 10am. It wasn’t packed so service was quick. When the waitresses are busy, the bus boys are quick to get you refills, etc. I got the eggs benedict(my fave!) and my boy got the Jr. hamburger(which was huge!). I definitely have to come try the burgers here. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious.

This is definitely a hidden gem in Sun Valley, has been here for as long as I can remember driving by and telling myself one day I will try this place out, so glad we did, to start off the price we paid for the entire meal was so inexpensive, it’s hard to find a decent meal for that amount. The service was excellent from the man cleaning up the tables to the waitress, to the very friendly cashier, we sat down right away there is also a nice seating area outside, we ordered the sirloin steak and eggs — any style that includes hash browns, side of toast of your choice for less than $ 10.00, the wow breakfast included 2 eggs– any style, 2 buttermilk pancakes, 2 crispy bacons and 2 sausage link’s for $ 4.99– added a side of hash browns, everything was so deliciously cooked to perfection, the pancakes were buttery — fluffy and the hash browns were crunchy outside, will definitely be back to support this local restaurant!

The food was sort of okay, but not the best breakfast I have ever had, it was pancakes, eggs, bacon… okay well done that before. Cost was okay, here are my issues with the place. It looks and feels like it is still in 1955, so the décor just doesn’t lend to an appetizing experience. There was a flat panel tv hanging above our booth that was on level 20 and I could barely hear the waitress, but they did turn it down. Likely it had to be that loud for the customers who have been going here since 1955. I had to go the bathroom to wash up and the smell of pee was so strong I nearly choked. Not really worth it to me to go here and it wasn’t my choice anyway so the next time I get invited I will pass on the offer.

Stopped through Sun Valley outside of North Hollywood on my may out of LA and had a killer breakfast burrito from The Town Café! The sauce they spread over the burrito was amazing. Old fashion customer service and really pleased with my server Cecilia«CC» She was the sweetest.

Came here with the family not long ago for some breakfast. Upon arrival a bunch of Motorcycles were parked outside and I began to think maybe it’s not a good day to eat here are because some crazy motorcycle gang is having a club meeting, but once walking inside were a bunch of Older… older folks. I had to double take here… Old Bikers maybe? Hard to picture old Guys in polo shirts and khakis riding Harleys. Any way, we were greeted and sat at our table on the opposite side of the restaurant where all the booths are, and where a family was enjoying what had seemed to be a birthday or post birthday. The service was great, the boy was flirting with the girls on the other Family’s table, and missus and I enjoyed our breakfast. Can’t top that!

My wife, son and myself hit this place up a few days ago. It was colder than a witch’s tit out and all I wanted was some good old fashioned comfort food. At first I thought we had stepped into an old folks home, all I saw was a sea of white hair and comfy orthopedic shoes everywhere! Wifey ordered the pot roast special which looked great, the boy ordered the Pizza burger which looked great, but fell apart with a quickness, let me explain: It’s a burger with a shitload of marinara sauce in it, which would be great if it was an actual pizza, not so great when it’s a hamburger bun that quickly absorbs that shit and subsequently falls apart as you’re taking the first bite… other than that he thoroughly enjoyed the hell out of it. I had the Paisano frittata, sans bell pepper, those shits are good, but they give a motherfucker mad gas and the last thing anyone wants is a dude farting all over the place while they’re trying to enjoy their grubby grub. It was delicious! The eggs were cooked perfectly and didn’t have that sweaty ball smell(not that I’ve ever smelled a dude’s sweaty balls, but I’ve been told by my shall we say hoe-like friends who have) that you get at IHOP, the potatoes were decent and the sourdough toast was good too. Great service, great price, great place. I’ll hit it again.

This place nails the«classic diner» vibe. The service is excellent and the booths are clean. Tried the pancakes and eggs and wasn’t overly impressed, but definitely not disappointed. I will be back for sure — great spot for those morning meetings!

Ordered the Beef liver first but it was not to my liking. Asked the waitress for suggestions and she pointed out the pork chops and applesauce. They were delish and well seasoned. It came with mashed potatoes, soup and side salad. What a treat! I was a bit disappointed that they stopped serving breakfast at 11 but overall it was pleasing. The customer service was excellent and staff was friendly.

I honestly like this place better than Dennys or IHOP. The eggs don’t have a weird smell to them and they make the eggs exactly how you ask them to. They have a great special for breakfast. I won’t repost a picture of it since others already have. The kitchen looks clean and so do all the counter tops. Atmosphere is very chill and friendly. If you are in the area try them out!

Classic coffee shop in an unassuming area. Great BLT, regular coffee, sat at the counter! Yup… just like the ol’ days!

I always like trying places where the locals of the town eat, so I decided to try Town Café before checking in to my hotel room for my little vacation in California. The customer service was alright, but they definitely cater to their regulars more(not saying it’s a bad thing, but shouldn’t all customers be equal?). I saw some of the staff handling food with their bare hands after touching some of the things around the kitchen(doesn’t really sit well with me because it doesn’t really represent good hygiene in a food establishment). As for the food, I can admit that it’s much better than your chain diners(IHOP, Denny’s, etc.) I’d say this would be the best spot in the area for a good sit-down breakfast. Don’t expect a fancy menu here. They have all the diner classics which include: eggs benedict, country fried potatoes, pigs in a blanket, etc. I had the corned beef hash with scrambled eggs and 4 small pieces of buttered sourdough toast. This dish definitely hit the spot because everything was cooked to order and they gave out very generous portions at a reasonable price. If you’re in the area looking for a place that serves a decent, hearty breakfast then you should stop by here.

If you want a big breakfast, this is the place for you. If you want a tasty breakfast with traditional flavors hmm, may not be the place for you. Ordered Eggs Benedict. Eggs were way overcooked, almost hard boiled, and Hollandaise sauce lacked the lemony tang it should have. Husband had biscuits and gravy, once again, big portions, but gravy was blah. lacked the sage sausage taste you would expect. Will have to try again and just order something simple, like pancakes or an omelette.

+ Private Lot for parking + Competitive prices for breakfast + Carries Splenda + Great dining for those with children + Is considered a Prime Lottery Ticket seller Stopped in for breakfast at Town Café on Sunday. This place is not spectacular but it isn’t the worst either. I would compare this as a very low end Denny’s. Their breakfast menu is pretty basic with the basic breakfast essentials. If you’re looking for a menu with turkey bacon, cage free eggs, waffles with fantastic toppings this is not the café for you. I would recommend this place for those looking for the straight pancake, egg, sausage, omelette. The service was good. Our waitress checked in with us to see if we needed anything during our dining experience which is a great thing. I may not visit this café again as their breakfast was something I could’ve easily cooked at home.

Awesome! They had my order of 18 burritos(breakfast ham, bacon and sausage) ready at 645AM as requested. Staff was very friendly. I also ordered an oatmeal that came with milk, raisins and brown sugar – so yummy! Burritos are covered in sauce and came with beans and chips. They also sent me with side salsa, silverware and napkins! Will definitely order from here again.
