Made a pre-order on the phone to pick up my raspados, as I was running late for work. The cashier Ashley(I believe that’s her name) answered the phone and after repeating the my order three times still made a mistake. She overcharged me on my debit card. As a carry out order you expect for the staff to make sure to double check the order. So double check your credit card transactions. I called and complain and staff has no idea how to deal with the issue. RASPADOSEXPRESS I RECOMMENDYOUTRAINEDYOUSTAFFTOBEMOREAWAREOFCUSTOMERSSERVICE!!! Need improvement on Customer Service!!!

I came to this store tonight at 9:30pm and the people(still working) told me they were closed. When showed them that I found their business hours online and it says the store is supposed to be closed at 10pm, one of the guys there told me that it needed to be fixed. The funny thing is that sometimes it closes at 9 and others at 10. Please fix it!

Their Unilocal hours stated 10pm. Came at 9pm they were closed. I called them and asked if they can let me in because I drove from Glendale. They said no. As a restaurant owner I find it irresponsible. Every business owner should have their Unilocal business app on their phone. It takes 2 seconds to change business hours. Accommodating to customers is key for a successful business. I will never return. Thank you.

Yummmy yummyy! So delicious but it is not a good idea to go here if you are in a rush as they are always super busy and work kind of slow. If you have a lot of time it is well worth it.

Friendly service. Sadly, the corn is always soupy, I’ve ordered several times and they just fill the cup with corn water? And a little bit of corn, hardly any cheese and a lil bit of mayo.

I’m not aware if this is a chain or not but it’s the only one I’ve ever been to and it’s always a delicious or exciting experience. It’s a very nice store for the area which is typically a little raggedy but its crisp clean and spiffy within. I’m always so curious to try new things since I know nowhere else that serves such options. I must always get their cottage cheese/fruit/nut bowl. I crave it. It’s as good as a sundae. The best cottage cheese I’ve ever had. Their popular chili mango drink is great and intense. They have a strawberries and cream cup which is amazing as well. I’ve went with a watermelon/kiwi slush-smoothie on more then a couple occasions and love it. Everything is fresh delicious and natural tasting even their sweetest treats don’t feel heavy going down.

Came to eat here, since I was craving a chamango, it did not disappoint!!!, the woman who took our order had no personality, but I didn’t care, did not come here for entertainment. it did take a few min to get order, but again I ordered 6 items. now keep in mind this is a small shopping center, but who cares, nothing around it has spacious parking. Oh and if your expecting shaved ice, you wont find it here, its a raspado!

Came here to try the place out, so here’s a list of the things that bothered me: parking was in a very tight area, the iced wasn’t shaved more like chunks of ice, no fruit in mine, and the wait was long when no one was around. Will not be coming back.

This is always my go to spot for an authentic Mexican raspado. I have loved every flavor i’ve tried here but my top two favorites will always be the Chamango and BesaFresa raspados. Yumm! Try those if you haven’t yet! Although this place is always super packed; staff here is great with getting their customers in and out as fast as possible. I never have to wait more than 10 min even on their busiest days. I love it here! If i could come everyday i definitely would hehe

The raspados are always yummy of course but the employees are very rude zero manners what so ever… You need smiling faces taking pride in there job food always taste better when its made with lots of love and joy… God bless but I won’t be coming to the sun valley location anymore… Pacoima seems more upbeat.

People on these reviews are trippin, this place was BOMB! It’s definitely NOT fancy and on a little ghetto street(it’s LA, everything good is on a little ghetto street) you can take to go, or enjoy it there on some benches. 5 drinks were 20 $, and worth every penny! I got the spicy«Chamango»(4.50) and the mango was perfectly ripe and PLENTY in the cup. It’s honestly a meal within itself because you get so full with one drink. What I liked most, was the spice to the Chamango, was the perfect level! It was not overly spicy, and the sweet level to the drink was also perfect with not being overly sweet, which is what usually happens at most raspado places. I’ll definitely be returning to try all the other things. They even have a Mexican corn bowl for 3 $ and fruit bowls w/cottage cheese for 4 $ If you’re in the area, and it’s hot as hell like usual, definitely try this place!(;

Every time I have a raspado I am reminded of my childhood. I literally enjoyed so many of them during the summer time. My favorite is vanilla. I still smile to myself when I think about my chubby butt sitting down outside to enjoy a raspado. It’s nice that are places like these that sale them and make them taste just as good!

Went to raspado express for lunch. Have never had a problem with them, however I looked in my «raspado» & found 2 roach look a like bugs. Disgusting never going back again.

I love this place! But today I was calling and calling to place my order and no answer so I walked in and order I asked the girl taking my order if there phone was working«She said yes but there not answering because then there not able to charge with the ATM machine» I was waiting on my order and The phone starts ringing and the cashier just picked up the phone and hung up, that’s just BAD customer service. The girl that was getting my order ready had an attitude she was not even smiling she’s so rude, come on if you don’t like your job don’t work there. The guy there is helpful and smiles all the time, I order 2 crepas one with no banana and at the time my husband was about to eat it «It had banana» They need to check the order before they give it to the customer.

Wow! I’m very impressed! Raspado Xpress, congratulations for you well deserve a 5 star rating. This is a place I cannot wait to come back to, but unfortunately I live 2 hours away. Everything we ordered was fresh and clean. There is nothing more to say. I am satisfied!

Mango not ripe enough barely chewed on it but still satisfied my craving with the chamoy sauce. Front two girls working really need to put a smile on their faces. A little smile would’ve given this place a 5 star. Cool looking place not a good area but does the trick

Great customer service and awesome raspados I will be back. It’s a little difficult to get to since it’s next to the railroad but definitely worth it .next time I will get some nachos.

I give them two stars because the flavors are good. The raspa or shaved ice part was terrible. I grew up in a Hispanic neighborhood where we had the snowiest, fluffiest, most delicious snow cones. When I go back home I still get a great snow cone and for a great price! I wanted to like this place, the menu sounds great. And I haven’t seen many places that offer Bionicos around here. My youngest wanted a Bubble Gum snowcone, my oldest had Chamarindo, I said Chapiña pa la niña, and my hubby had El Trompo. I asked for condensed milk on the Trompo since I asked for no spice, but they put Chamoy on it anyway. Some peeps don’t like spicy dessert, oh well. But the tropical fruit was good. The other three had great flavors, but for $ 5 each I was expecting shaved ice, or snow. I have found smoother ice in a hail storm, those pieces of rock ice were ridiculous! But Mama fixed it all, we took them home popped them in my Ninja and out came blended smoothies! Even the bubble gum was like sorbet. So next time I want snow cones, I will stay home and use my blender!!!
