Slow cashier and only one working at a time. Employees more worried about stocking shelves then getting people out the door. Standing in line for 20 minutes to pay for a few items is ruining this store.
I understand restocking shelves but taking care of customers should be the highest priority. No one likes to stand inline for any length of time.
This is what makes me shop across the street.

Other reviewers were right in saying that this place is like a mini WalMart. I was able to find batteries, some cheap snacks, and surprisingly, a new outfit for my infant. The store was clean, well organized and staff were friendly and helpful. I am a fan of dollar stores in general for providing inexpensive but quality items (if you know where to look and which items to pass over).

When I first moved to Reno, I had, never heard of a family dollar store, so this was kind of a neat concept for me, I only shopped their a couple of times, I found they really weren’t much of a bargain. They just seem like a cheap walmart to me.
