We went there to have a personal meet up with Bodie Stroud after American Restoration was shot for the History Channel. This guy knows cars from ground up and he can almost reinvent a car to another item altogether.
He is not an arrogant man like some say he is. On our visit, we perceive him as a down to earth individual who likes what he does for a living. He was even willing to let us see his current projects with Clint Eastwood and Adam Corolla ’ s car.
The shop needs more space and organization. It is a busy body shop but it can improve with time.

Seemed to be pretty arrogant. Couldn’t find the time to call a potential customer back. I tried 3 times. Glad business is so good — now.

The price was not cheap for this poor boy. It was a lot more than expected to restore my ground-​up project, yet most would understand who have been down that road. The quality and craftsmanship is outstanding.

I have a 62 Nova and I was looking for a performance shop that only works on classics and customs. Believe me they are hard to find. ANd I was soooo happy when I found this hot rod shop hiding in the northern part of Hollywood. I think they only work on pre– 1970 cars and they do restoration and build cars from the ground up. Looking in the shop I was amazed by all the cool cars. The owner had said they mainly just build cars for customers, but he would help me out. I was looking for a MSD Ignition for my Nova and was referred here from a guy I met in Irwindale Speedway. They installed it with no hassle and also ended up recommending some upgrades. I added a 2.5″ stainless exhaust. It was pretty pricy but well worth the craftsmanship. IF you want something done right for your hotrod this is the shop.
