Just the Paint Man

3÷9÷16 I have never given a shout out about anyone, but today that ends. I initially met Chris (Just the Paint Man-​GOOGLE) by sheer luck. After moving to the area I contacted Chris to ask for advice about removing a stubborn wallpaper border. I informed him over the phone that I was struggling getting it off and needed advice – well he went above and beyond. Chris came over to take a peek and offered me amazing advice. He gave me detailed instructions what to do. He did not expect anything in return. I was so impressed with his kindness to simply help, I decided to hire him to paint some areas in our home. My husband and I feel so blessed to have met and hired Just the Paint Man. I just wanted people to know about our amazing experience with Chris. Not only is he the nicest guy ever, but he is a fantastic painter. Thank you, Chris for everything.

We called and asked for a quote on getting our bathrooms resurfaced and painted as well as a future quote on the rest of our house. The person who came out was considerate, he took his shoes off, asked questions about our dog, and was quite friendly.
We showed him what we wanted done and informed him of what we were looking at. He explained what he’d need to do, but wouldn’t provide an estimate. He did become more and more distant as he walked through the house. He wouldn’t provide us with a quote until we removed the vanities, but if we removed the vanities we’d be out of having a sink to deal with. That being said, he was frank about certain areas that needed to be chipped out and resurfaced before even painting. He mentioned that he has a minimum per day amount and a price per hour after that.
All in all, if he was willing to even ballpark a figure, we could have known if we could hire him or not. He just didn’t seem that he was interested in doing so.
I’m sure he’d be great for other people with much bigger projects.
