Not a very friendly place. Overpriced stuff in ratty(literally) condition. I bought some yarn in a frosted plastic bag for 3 bucks that I later discovered was covered in rat poo and urine I had to throw out. Employees were complaining about the customers who steal up to $ 90.00 worth of stuff every month.(Really? How so when you get it for free?) The monitor cameras keeping an eye on your every move made me chuckle though.

Holy wow! This place is a rip off. I feel especially bad for the elderly who come here to look for inexpensive items. I used to enjoy coming here and found things like old picture frames and glass-ware reasonably priced and worthy of purchase for restoration. I walked through today and found picture frames were priced around the $ 10 mark WITHPIECESOFTHEFRAMEMISSING!!! Some upwards of $ 20 – 30. A nice leather couch was marked down from $ 1,000 to $ 800. I can get a better deal on Craigslist. Outdated cabinets are being sold for $ 80-$ 100. Outdated lamps being sold for $ 25. I understand this is a thrift store and items ARE going to be outdated. But These items in no way fall under the ‘vintage’ category. They’re ugly and cannot be restored to make them look better. So sad :(

Rude workers!!! Prices are a joke! They rather throw the stuff away(which they do) then work with you on the prices. Way over priced!

Really good thrift store, that is TRULY a thrift store. Not those«thrift» stores that carry the items that are in style like Buffalo Exchange or ones that have super pricey items. For the most part everything is pretty cheap with shirts $ 1.00 and pants $ 2.50 or something like that. Some of their items, for example I came across some fur coats today that were priced $ 40.00 and it was in pretty good condition, made in the USA aka«vintage» haha. For the most part I’ve found pieces of clothing where I feel like«score! I hit the jackpot» quite often, but other than that they carry a LOT of clothing for the older generation. Things my grandma would like to wear and a lot of basics. VERYORGANIZED: This store DOES color code their shirts AND bottoms, which I love, makes thrifting very underwhelming(as places that just throw their things on clothing racks can sometimes be overwhelming). They have dresses in one section, denim in another, etc. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for something for a themed party because everything is pretty cheap so why splurge on a wear-it-one-night clothing, but dont get me wrong, for the most part, this store carries ALOT of wearable items. My sister once found this FENDI purse with«made in italy» inside(so you know it’s real) and I’ve also found a thin Dior belt. So somedays you might find«ok» stuff, but things you’re happy about, and other days you’ll come out there feeling like things were meant to be :)

Some bargains can be found at times, but some things are priced way out of line. Good deals on clothing usually. They quit having the deal where you could buy a bag of clothes for $ 7.00. Back room is even more junkier than the rest of the place.

I absolutely love this thrift shop! There’s not much to do around Menifee, but I come here at least twice a month to visit my parents. Luckily, this thrift shop, which is located in Sun City just off the McCall Blvd exit, has a bag sale that happens every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month — so I try to plan my visits accordingly. Basically, what happens on bag day is that during a designated time(currently, it’s 9AM to 3PM) you can fill up a plastic bag with as many clothing items as you want and you only pay a flat price of $ 7(plus tax — but don’t worry, they accept Visa). A few years ago, this used to only be $ 5, but I think due to the increasing amount of visitors, they decided to raise it a bit. Nevertheless, it’s quite a steal if you like thrifting. On a typical day, my sister and I share a bag because we’re able to fit it up with at least 20 items — this includes blouses, sweaters, skirts, pants, etc. The thrift shop also has a good selection of shoes, bags, and ties, which although aren’t included in the bag sale, range from about $ 1-$ 4. I don’t recall every paying more than $ 4 for anything here. The only downside to thrift shopping here is that it can get a bit disorganized and cluttered, especially if there is an influx of customers, who sometimes move things around and knock stuff over; however, it’s apparent that the people who work there do their absolute best to keep everything organized. Clothes are arranged by color, shoes go on a rack, and hats, dress, pants, and skirts are separated into different areas. So if you’re looking for something in particular, it shouldn’t be too hard to find. The store also offers a collection of furniture, art, kitchenware, toys, jewelry, books, and electronics, but the variety is limited. I go here for the clothes and would not recommend coming here for anything else unless you’re OK with buying something as old as the people who live in Sun City.(It’s a very old community.) As far as the clothes go, if you’re looking to buy a designer piece, it’s a hit and miss. There’s always a lot of vintage pieces that are great for any occasion, and sometimes you might find something that’s secondhand that’s relatively new and still in good condition.(For some reason, there’s never a shortage of Liz Claiborne blouses?) So far, I’ve been able to find a vintage Fendi satchel, Converses, Anne Klein wedges, a Dior trench coat, a Dior necktie, and a YSL necktie. I have to admit, the women’s selection is a lot bigger than the men’s, but every so often I’ll find something I think my boyfriend will like. Tips? I recommend coming either really early or really late during bag day. That way, you can avoid the hoards of people who show up for the sale. Also, it’s important to note that they fill up the racks consistently throughout the day, so the store is never empty. So just because you’re the earliest, doesn’t mean you’re going to snag the designer piece. In this case, the early bird doesn’t always get the worm; it’s all based off of luck! So good luck :) Don’t listen to the negative reviews… All in all, this is an excellent thrift shop that I plan on visiting regularly when I’m in town!

Rude employees that ignore you. High prices and junk everywhere instead of merchandise. Disappointing for a non profit organization.

My favorite thrift store around the area! Clothing without a price is $ 1 each & with price is half off! Great for vintage fashion ! Shoes are about $ 1& boots are $ 1.50 I believe. Books, housing supplies, bags, etc are all similar to other thrift stores. Every first & third Saturday they have sale where you fill up a bag of clothing for $ 5! A tip I’d add is stuff up everything till the bag rips if you have to! It’s such a great deal!

They have cassettes! Typical pricing for bookshelves and tables as far as thrift stores go Lots of bedding if you are looking for a new comforter Entire dish sets They seemed a tad pretentious with the pricing of clothing that still had the original price tag on it(store price was $ 25, thrift store seriously trying to charge $ 20) there were alot of regulars scooting and routing around– makes you feel at home over all– I like it! also, I don’t know how to say this without sounding like an asshole, but Sun City was an exclusively senior community(and still retains the demographic) so you can expect some goodies that have been sitting around the house for AGES.
