Out of all the TJ Maxx stores I’ve ever visited, I feel this location is the most organized and attractive. The employees always seem happy to see customers and more than willing to offer extra assistance.
Sumter is lucky to have this franchise!

It was exciting to see a TJ Maxx in the little town of Sumter. I went in looking for winter boats and actually found some I liked. They were $ 60! Not the price I was looking for but I really needed them. I browsed the store a little and didn’t see anything that caugh my eye it was a decent store. The employees were nice.

Satellite Beach, FL
This store front was formerly a Bi-​Lo grocery store, which closed in 2005 and sat vacant for 2 years. The decision to open a TJ Maxx here was actually big news in the local paper. After 6 months of renovating, the doors opened in October. In a larger town, it’s no big deal. But, for Sumter, it’s the first big box store other than Wal-​Mart, Lowe’s, or K-​Mart. There are tons of great clothes, so hopefully I can take my wife clothes shopping here instead of running to Columbia. Yay?
