I love going here. Everyone is always so helpful nice and friendly. The prices are great. They are always clean.

Have loved Winco since living in Reno. There is no finer store to get groceries, at least in Sumner. The one in Federal Way is a dump compared to this one. This is newer, the people are seemingly more on the ball and the lines are not too long. This is a store to shop and their bakery bagels are delish! Especially the herb ones… OMG!

This place always keeps me coming back. The product is on abundance as well as the cleanliness of the facility. My fiancé and I have never seen such good employees constantly filling and refilling all products with fresh veggies etc. The staff is all very nice especially the produce guys they are so nice and helpful when I can’t reach something. Thank you Winco for being so great.

First time shopping at this Winco, or any Winco for that matter. I’m presently surprised by the variety and quality of products sold here. Also, the price on 90% of items is defiantly cheaper than other stores like Fred Meyer, Albertsons & Safeway. Staff are nice, isles are kept clean, didn’t see any rotten produce or dairy products close to expiration. Bagging your groceries really isn’t that bad either. All in all, a nice shopping experience and great savings on groceries.

Rapidly expanding chain, for a good reason, good prices here, friendly workers who the company treats right WINCOBTW stands for Washington, Idaho, Nevada, California and Oregon. If you see a Winco store I highly recommend them, the drawback is you do have to bag your own groceries, but from what I’ve seen, if you are unable to do so, they will do it for you if requested.

My girlfriend and I love this Winco! We live in Orting and don’t mind the drive at all to get here and save money over our local Safeway. The store is clean, usually not too busy and the savings are phenomenal! I actually talked my girlfriend out of buying groceries at Costco because she would always over buy what was used and waste a lot(especially the produce items). I think Winco beats out Costco on food prices anyway and we have fresh produce anytime we need it. We take the back way from Orting so it’s a nice short drive without traffic. Some of my favorites are the great prices on my favorite bread(Killer Daves) and the Rocket Java coffee. I also don’t mind bagging my own groceries. I was a «helper clerk» when I was a kid at Safeway and I do it like it’s a competition to see if I can stay ahead of the flow of groceries coming down the belt. Easily worth the money we save on the grocery bill! A big bakery and deli and plenty of prepped fresh items make this Winco a winner in my book.

I looooove this Winco. I was about to give up on Winco altogether when I had a bad experience at the Federal Way Winco. I’m a cheapskate and love my savings, but when I feel like I’m going to get PTSD just from grocery shopping, I know that saving a few dollars isn’t really worth it. Unlike other Winco’s, this Winco is generally not overcrowded, and on the off chance that it is crowded, people are cordial and say«excuse me» if they need to reach behind you. In addition, people here seem to be considerate while shopping. I have yet to see or hear unsupervised children running around the store like it’s a playground. Finding this Winco was like hitting the jackpot!

Good to sometimes substantial savings over the big box grocery chains. Selection and freshness is also very comparable as well. They do sometimes run out of certain items over the weekend, but that’s probably pretty typical in any busy grocery store.

Great grocery store and have been going here for years. Really good prices on most groceries and have a good selection of winco brand food. Only problem is there meat… sometimes it can pretty gross looking and cheap.

We went and picked up some staples and dry goods the other day. If you don’t go when it’s crazy, then it’s really quite a lovely experience. Service was good. Prices were good. I am always surprised at how clean and tidy this place is… Debit/EBT or cash only. fyi.

This place is incredible. I wish we had one in California! I was amazed at the variety of the products that they carry here and how everything was at a fraction of the price that you would find anywhere else(no more Fred Meyer for me!). Whatever you need on your shopping list, they have it. I was like a kid in a candy store in their bulk food section, any nut you could imagine, they carry here. I cannot wait to return during my next Washington visit!

So this is a four star review. why five stars you ask? Because every other Winco in the area has four stars, and are creepy compared to this one. Typical Winco… good prices, poor produce for some things. What makes this one different? The town(s) that patronize it. Sumner, Bonney Lake, Orting, etc… not creepy towns. Other places like Tacoma, Kent, etc… creepy, or at least a fair number of creepy parts.

Despite what a lot of people say about Wincos in general, this place is awesome. The meat department is always clean with a better selection than other stores in the area. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The prices cannot be beat. Once I started shopping here I cut at least 20% off of my weekly grocery bill.

My family and I tend to shop here if we are in the Sumner area as it seems to be cleaner than the one on 176th on South Hill. They also carry some items I have not seen at the one on 176th(especially specialty items that are gluten-free).

Winco is fine. You have to be selective about meats. Be willing to use produce quick because it will go bad. Make sure to keep an ear out for recalls.

3 stars because the produce we get from this location is sometimes ‘iffy’ and because they haven’t built one in Auburn yet(hint, hint)! We live across less than a block from Albertsons, but we travel to Sumner just to shop at Winco: great prices, good selection, store is easy to navigate, love the bulk food section and the honey, great coffee(this is tantamount!), love the checkout. By far, Winco is the best of the supermarket chains!

Here’s the rundown of this location. It’s only a handful of months old, so it’s still really clean and for the most part, organized. You can always find good, and borderline great, deals here seven days a week. The two biggest cons for me are they don’t accept credit cards, and you have to bag your own groceries. It’s the trade off for the low prices I suppose, so I’ll deal with it. Biggest pro of WinCo though is that it isn’t Walmart.

Thought I had written a review for this Winco but I don’t see it… This is the newest Winco that is on my way to my brothers. I find myself finding reasons to go visit him on Sundays so I can shop at this Winco. It is super clean, not crowded and has lots of upscale items that the other Winco’s don’t have(think Whole Foods). I can even get the family to stop and shop with me at this location. As with all Winco’s the prices are fantastic and the staff is nice/helpful. Definitely the nicest Winco in South King/North Pierce County.

If you’ve never been to Winco, their standard M.O. is cheap food. With that in mind… Pros: 1. Great prices. 2. Fairly good selection, they have organic foods(limited) and a good range of items available in produce. 3. They have a decent bulk foods section 4. Convenient access to highways. Cons: 1. It gets super busy. 2. You have to bag your own groceries 3. The store’s set up is kinda confusing — I had to make a few laps before finding everything I need. Once I went around 7:30 at night, there was an exciting/entertaining mix of people in the store… think People of Walmart type stuff…

Since there is only 2 grocery stores in my town this is the one I use the most. Why? –Open 24 hours –Kept clean –5 minutes from my home –Right next to Hwy 410 and the Shell gas station –only store I can go to and leave with maybe 12 bags filled with grocery for about 100 dollars. WinCo has the best prices on groceries by far over any competitor.
