YMCA Summerville

The staff that are older ladies at the front are never friendly the place needs to be remodeled it looks nasty and the sauna never ever ever works

see I’m from Charlotte nc so I’m used to the YMCA there. I came to work out at this one, cause I was in Charleston for the week. I must say one of the worst Y’s I’ve been to. First the equipment was out of date. It seem like they don’t clean up, the place was filthy especially the woman locker room. I didn’t want to walk around with no shoes on. They they have old ppl watching the door, but they wasn’t watching the door ppl was just walking in. I’m waiting there to get their attention and they are in full convo with members. Also they had trainers there that was a bit out of shape and over weight training ppl. but anyway I think it’s because it’s a little town it doesn’t matter. But If I was the owner of YMCA I would remodel this one ugh.

Great field. Really enjoy all the time spent here with my family as my son went through several programs. Coaches and staff have always been great.

Summerville YMCA soccer/​baseball fields. There is also a pool. Not great facilities but not too bad either. You would figure that with all the money they raise with the flower town festival they would have made more improvements.
