We ate here 2÷26÷16 for the first time and we loved it. WE had the calamari fries, basil fried rice with chicken and beef, pad Thai with shrimp. It was fabulous! We got the crab and shrimp sushi roll. It was so fresh tasting. The hostess informed us how good the calamari rings were with Caesar dressing and she was right. I also had the blueberry cheesecake. So GOOD!

I went there Friday night with some friends. I had the pleasure of watching everyone eat b/c apparently cooking steak isn’t their specialty. Everyone was eating their food so I decided to ask(b/c the server didn’t tell me) that my steak was overcooked so they were remaking it. Well, while the second steak was cooking, the manager came and asked how things were. I mentioned that I still haven’t gotten any food. So she went back to check. She never came back to give me any indication as to where my food was. Finally, the server returned and told me it was almost finished at which time I told her just to have it boxed because everyone(the two other people) in my party had completed their meals. So she proceeded to tell me that there was an error in the menu price and my food ACTUALLY was $ 5 higher than what it was advertised, but they would waive the up-charge and my soda charge because of my issue. At that point, I was just ready to leave so I just paid the $ 12 check and left. When I got home, I tasted what should have been a mouthwatering rib-eye and it had no taste and no seasoning whatsoever. I feel it safe to say, you’ve lost three customers as of Friday.

Not so great; but in most locations any restaurant that has sushi rolls and hamburgers probably suffers from an identity crisis. I was part of a large party and although they were aware of the party, they were ill prepared. Food was poorly timed and delivered. The chef salad was pitiful as far as ingredients — the egg was non-existant, the ham, turkey was minced. Yeah, minced. No tomato. Dressing never delivered. Chicken satay was super dry. Tempura vegetables were served cold. Ugh. And crab wontons were not made with crispy wonton wrappers. Just not worth the money. Maybe they should pick one cuisine and make it special rather than be all over the map with such poor quality.

I was on a business trip, and somehow found my way to this restaurant/bar on a Friday night by myself. It was AMAZING. I walked into the door with a happy, laughing crowd and great live music. I sat down at the end of the bar, and immediately had service. I was told the crab wontons were great and sushi. I was not disappointed! Great food, awesome drinks, excellent service, amazing atmosphere. Patrons said hello to me and treated me like family. To be honest, I wish I lived in this area so it could become my watering hole. Thanks for a great time!

Definitely go in during the buffet times on Sunday-Wednesdays and lunch is 14.99. Dinner is 20.95. Made to order food items not a typical buffet. They do not skimp on the quality of the food just because it’s the buffet either. This place doesn’t have much business, but deserves a lot more.

Great selection of menu items. If your dining with people that want different things. This place is it, it really is a fusion of various ethnic food. American, Japanese and Thai. Love this place for its very fresh sushi.

I would like to give a four star on the sushi. It was truly delicious. However a one star on the server. We went and got the lunch«buffet». Which means you can order anything of the Menu, unlimited including the regular sushi rolls. In our excitement for sushi unintentionally over ordered on the sushi. It tasted great and when we realized how much we had, we didn’t order anything else except my husband wanted to try the bbq ribs. We ate as much as we could and discussed that we felt bad for having leftovers. We knew we couldn’t take any home. We Were making plans to visit again when the server came and said, ‚“JUSTTOLETYOUKNOWWEWOULDNORMALLYCHARGEYOUEXTRAFORALLTHELEFTOVERFOODBUT I WON’T THISTIME!” The bill was $ 82.00. I don’t think we will be back! Great sushi… poor service!

We ordered spring rolls, the fried calamari roll, the surf n turf roll & the Thai house roll. The spring rolls weren’t bad, but they were really greasy. The best roll we got was the surf n turf. It was pretty tasty, the other rolls were good, but not as good. It is kinda pricey, but overall… not bad.

Absolutely Outstanding. When my wife and I first entered I was a bit concerned– Pearl Jam music and waiters with full beards, not luxurious décor… but our first impressions were WAY off. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly– our food came out quickly. I can not overstate how great the food was. I had some sushi– it was the best I’ve ever had. My wife had a Thai dish, and it was great too. I also had the stuffed shrimp and the crab wonton– both were delicious and were perfectly cooked. The dipping sauce was great. Having grown up in Hawaii, my wife and I are quite the fans of oriental cuisine. Tasty Fusion was superb, and we’ll be back soon. Couldn’t recommend it more highly!!!

We love Thai and were excited to try Tasty Fusion. The first time we did a sit down lunch. We both got yellow curry, one with beef the other with chicken. We were surprised we enjoyed it. The next time hubby and I got the same thing, our daughter got sushi. This time the curry was runny and flavorless. Our daughters sushi dry. The third time we got take out. The food was ok. We’re going to look for another Thai place. The restaurant side never seems to have more than a handful of people in it. The service is hit or miss. The bar is where the people are. Everyone there is having a good time and service is good.

Went for a lunch date with my wife. Service was awesome, no complaints whatsoever. I found the décor quite clever and attractive with the combination of American and South Asian scenes painted literally across the walls. The food was quite good. I ordered the chicken satay and the stuffed shrimp as appetizers. Excellent. I have been to a few sushi joints around the area and wasn’t sure how my Happy Roll would compare. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and beautiful presentation of mine and my wife’s entrees. It is obvious they care about food. I hope this place does well given that they are new on the scene.

This place is absolutely delicious. My family and I have really enjoyed eating here a few times since they opened. I haven’t tried anything on their American menu, but the Japanese and Thai menus are so amazing. I really suggest getting one of their specialty sushi rolls to experience the creativity they have to offer If you like Thai food — they will not disappoint you. Everything Thai has been great. They ARENOT kidding around with the spice levels. Order with caution

Had high expectations given all the other reviews. Wasn’t impressed by the waitstaff in jeans and many in oversized tank tops. I felt kind of ostracized due to being by myself. We he finally got around to coming over, the waiter was very polite and nice. I ordered two sushi rolls and the Pad Woo Sen. I expected the sushi before my meal but was surprised that it FINALLY came about halfway through my main course. The sushi was really very good and exceptionally fresh. The Pad Woo Sen however was literally swimming in oil. I eat this dish at every Thai restaurant I go to and I’ve eaten at quite a few due to traveling a lot! Pad Woo Sen should be spicy and this wasn’t. Also it’s the first time I’ve had tomatoes in it(which I didn’t like). Would go back at lunch for sushi but won’t go back for dinner again. Would i recommend it… meh.

I have been to an authentic Thai restaurant, and this is not it. We ordered two Pad Thai’s and a yummy roll to go. The sushi was good, although slightly stale and a bit small for its $ 14 price tag. The Pad Thai’s were okay to say the least. One was ordered mild, while one was ordered medium, as we knew Thai dishes are traditionally served spicy. Both dishes were the equivalent of plain spaghetti noodles with chicken. Almost no sauce or seasoning whatsoever. The crushed peanuts on the side looked as if they had been soaking in water and were extremely soggy. Also no bean sprouts in the dish, just a small hand full on the side. The $ 14 dinner portion was also SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than that of Tasty’s sister restaurants. They were even smaller than the usual lunch portions that sell for $ 10. What a ripoff! If you’re going to give Tasty Fusion a go, stick to American food or sushi. I think I could make better Pad Thai in my own home. In terms of service, the hostess was friendly enough, although she did hand me my food thinking I had paid when I had not. I gave her my card and she apologized for the confusion.

Good sushi service present well. We had three rolls first two were excellent. Sadly the meal was ruined by a pice of spoiled eel on the third. Will give them one more chance and I’ll try once more. Prices were a slightly higher then other quality established sushi places in town by a few dollars.

Our favorite sushi chef ‘relocates’ to this location from Downtown’s Tasty Thai, which went downhill since he left. Great sushi. They now serve Thai food also, but we dined in just for his awesome sushi. Basic roll for all sushi restaurant is Rainbow Roll, which shows you how fresh the fishes are at the restaurant, and it was executed nicely. I would recommend the Hamachi Crunch Roll if you like seared fish … We had: Dragon Roll Tropical Spider Roll Rainbow Roll Hamachi Crunch Roll Bagel Roll Tasty Fusion is under same management with Tasty Thai in Mt Pleasant and Downtown, but Dave should be the chef you look for to get your best sushi ;-)

We never made it here when it was just Pugs BUT we are glad we tried last night. The Gouda bites are amazing. The jalapeño pretzel was so so good. Its such an odd grouping to have American, Sushi and Thai but I love the idea and this place! I did sushi and it may be best in Summerville
