Middleton Riding and Hunt Stables

Absolutely beautiful one hour trail ride. The ride itself is very easy and it helps to have a variety of personalities with regards to the horses. The super-​cool and friendly guide who’s been there nearly 30 years had a keen ability to match the right horse with the right person/​riding abilities.
The cost was $ 50 for one hour and I believe the ride actually lasted slightly longer but we also left slightly later than scheduled. Totally worth it!
The equipment used in our mounts (saddles/​bridles etc), the stables & general facilities & surrounding areas were all very well-​maintained. The exception to this was the road on the property leading up to the stables: huge potholes, puddles was difficult for a regular car to drive through. Signage on the property to the stables could also be made brighter, clearer and bigger.
The horses belonging to the stables as well as those being boarded there, all looked very content, healthy, super-​well cared for! Even the stable dog looked happy!
We signed up online using our credit cards and some of us signed up in person. Super easy process. Paperwork we signed upon arrival was very straightforward.
Absolutely beautiful scenery in mostly shaded areas, and some parts we rode were in direct sunlight. Our guide even gave us a bit of history on the areas we were riding in.
Absolutely recommend this place for a fun group activity or if you just want to get on a horse!
