Jay Maxwell’s Music By Request, LLC

We loved loved loved Jay and his assistant. Everything ran perfectly throughout the night. Jay went above and beyond in helping us not only with our music but with some other things that popped up through the night. I could not give a higher recommendation. One of the best decisions we made for our celebration was hiring Jay Maxwell!

Jay Maxwell was the perfect choice for our wedding DJ. We splurged a bit and had Jay himself serve as DJ at our wedding, and we couldn’t have been happier.
He really goes above and beyond to make sure his clients are happy and enjoying their time on their wedding day. He took the time to go over the pronunciation of everyone’s names before announcing them, triple-​checked with us on what music to play and not to play, and managed to keep my first dance song a secret from me since my husband wanted to surprise me with it.
The best example of him going above and beyond, though, was something I learned about after my wedding ended. During our cocktail hour, it started downpouring really, really hard. To the point where a tent gutter collapsed. Instead of waiting on someone else to come fix it, Jay grabbed a chair and started re-​attaching it. (My wedding coordinator jumped in as soon as she saw it, for what that’s worth.) He didn’t HAVE to do that — the rain and busted tent gutter wasn’t impacting him, really — but he wanted us to have a great wedding day without any issues. So, he pitched in where others maybe wouldn’t have to get the tent fixed.
Jay’s top-​notch. I highly recommend him and his services for any wedding or event music needs.
