Alissa at CaliColor is the best! I love my lashes, they make me look and feel so pretty and I get compliments on how gorgeous and natural they look all the time! Alissa does an amazing job every time. Her new studio in Summerland is adorable and it is always a treat to go get pampered and pretty at CaliColor! I found Cali color on groupon. I wanted to get my lashes and tan done for the wedding. So when I booked my appt I showed up earlier than my appt time. So Alissa texted me asking me if I can wait half hr because she’s running late, so I said that’s fine. I waited around, half hr passes by… I went to look for her business and Her little room isn’t even occupied. I see her dead asleep in her room.
When I finally woke her up. I started my service because I was not gonna back out due to my wedding. She was trying to do the lash service and apparently it wasn’t sticking. She gave me wrong info, I washed my face right before I came which is what she told me. The correct info was to not wash my face for 24 hrs before my appt.
So I ended up not getting it done, i just got my tan done.
But with my experience I will never come to her again. Talk bout things going wrong on planning your wedding.

Alissa is really sweet and did a fantastic job on my first ever spray tan. I couldn’t be happier! Her new studio is beautiful. I had no idea what to expect or what to do, but she explained everything. Very professional, and love the small touches like the care card with the chap stick. Little things go a long way! Will definitely go back.

You can NOT get better lashes than this, my friends! Not only does Alissa do a beautiful job applying lashes– she actually LISTENS to what you want and will change it up for you. I wanted more dramatic and longer for the holiday season and she did exactly what I wanted, then I wanted shorter and more natural and BOOM exactly what I wanted yet again.
Not only is she a fantastic lash artist, she is just the sweetest person and will make you feel so comfortable throughout the entire appointment. I cannot recommend her enough.

I have been going to Alyssa since August. She did my very 1^st set and I loved them so much. After my very 1^st experience of getting lashes a «friend», NOT Alyssa offered me a fill at a relatively cheap price, so of course I went for the deal. Well, they were awful to say the least, black glue was every where, they were heavy and hurt. You definitely get what you pay for. Alyssa came to the rescue and fixed my horrible set. I was so happy I experienced high quality and knew these other lashes that I had gotten weren’t right. Since then I have never gone to anyone else nor will I. My lashes always look flawless and I feel so pretty with them. I am always 100% percent satisfied and literally receive compliments every day, no joke! She’s the sweetest girl and everyone should go to her. :)

I’ve been getting my lashes done by Alissa since September. I branched out from my normal salon because I wanted to try out volume extensions, which most stylists do not offer in SB, and I am so glad I made the switch! Alissa is sweet, professional, accommodating and truly knows what she is doing. And although I’ve been seeing her for a few months, I love that she always makes sure to check in at the beginning of our appt to make sure I still like the look from the last set, or if I want to switch it up. I went to her new studio in Summerland last week for my fill, and of course, it is super cute and comfortable! I am looking forward to all my future appts there :) thanks Alissa!

Fantastic lash artist! Alissa is super knowledgable about the correct techniques and equipment needed to do lash extensions right. They look really natural. My friends were always surprised when I told them my lashes were extensions. She’s fun to talk to during the process and also genuinely kind — she opened up her salon 15 minutes early and even drove me to work after my appointment once to make sure I got to work on time. I highly recommended her salon!

This was my first time doing a tanning service and I really liked it! Alissa made me feel at ease and was able to answer my questions. If this is your first time, make sure to have your questions ready! I know it helped me a lot to get a better understanding of the process.

The pricing is very reasonable and she is so good. very worth it! Remember you get what you pay for so if you spend 25 on lashes… you get 25 $ looking lashes! Alyssa is top notch quality!!!

One of the best parts of having extensions is that I no longer have to spend 20 minutes every morning putting on eyeliner and eyeshadow. That means an extra 20 minutes of much needed beauty sleep for me.

Her salon is inside Sola Salons in the Ralph’s shopping plaza and there’s always plenty of parking outside.

Just got my first ever eyelash extension last night from Alyssa and wow! She did a really good job. She is professional and a very pleasant girl to talk to. I would definitely recommend her and she works with your schedule not like other eyelash salons where they are fully or overly booked for 2 – 3 weeks. She did my eyelash for a good 2 hrs and she even asked me if i wanted to go a little thicker and redid them again… no rush at all even when its almost 9pm already. She took her time and made sure I was satisfied with it. My mom and my coworkers complimented me and said it looks beautiful and natural looking. If you need to get tanned, Alissa is the one to call. She is extremely nice and very accommodating to scheduling. I’ve been to countless places, but now I know that I have found my zen zone for getting my tanning done.
Her place is very «home» feeling and very clean. She is very professional and down to earth at the same time. Her knowledge of the process and products available, was very helpful and enlightening.

Cali color is located in the Ralph’s Shopping Center, and you’ll find it in the building
That formally housed Hallmark, the name on the outside says Sola Salon Studios.
CALI COLOR is one of many studios in this building but as long as you know her unit #14 you won’t have a problem locating her.
Alissa met me right on time and was just so sweet and made me feel at ease right away.
It’s not everyday you strip down to your chonies for a stranger, but I was ready to get tan and she walked me through the process… No Ross Gellar (Friends) incidents reported.
Alissa manually sprays the solution on and then dries it, she explained that certain areas might turn dark but it goes away after the first shower.
I got a great deal on Groupon of $ 14 for a mystic tan, how could I resist?
As stark white as I am, a little color goes along way!
