Lakewood Stables

We have been trying for days to find a place to horseback ride along our road trip from Nevada to Florida. This stable was the only one that answered the phone and also allows you to take horses on trails.
It is family owned and a nice little spot in Summerdale. My husband and I had fun and they also let us bring our dog along too. A guide takes you between crop fields along a trail. We would have gone further but there was a storm in the distance so we had to turn back. We knew the weather wasn’t the best that day but they let us go anyways as long as it was safe. It is a good value for only $ 30 an hour. My horse was named Dancer and it was very well behaved and lively. I enjoyed the few times it trotted along :) it would have been nice to go through woods or over steams, but definitely give this place a try! I would come back!
