The breakfast paninis were good, I wasn’t crazy about the coffee but to be fair only one of three coffee types was available, the other two were empty. They also had run out of half and half, which seems like a silly thing to let happen in a coffee shop. Maybe I just went on a super busy day or something.

The BEST vanilla latte I have ever had! I am not a sweet coffee drinker, my every day go to is black coffee. But, I thought I would try something different given their vanilla is homemade. I am so glad I did! :) Unfortunately, the breakfast sandwich I had needed some flavor. It was an egg, sausage, baby swiss panini on ciabatta bread. While it was good, it was a bit bland. I will definitely be back for more coffee!

The coffee is great, the food is good, but the service is unpredictable. I’ve had really good service here and really bad service here. The breakfast is delicious! The lunch sandwiches are unique and pretty good. The ambiance is neat — eclectic décor and old building. It’s a bit echoey and loud if they are busy.

What a great place. I’m from out of town and this is the best coffee I have had in a long time! The staff is amazing and so kind. I love supporting local places, and this is a homegrown local as you can get. The coffee is fresh, food is amazing and is all tied together with good old Texas heart! Top that off with the fact that it won’t brake the bank, if I could give it more stars I would.

I love Coffee Off The Square! Whether you are looking for some deliciously smoked pork for lunch or an afternoon latte, this is the place to go! They now have a Chef’s Choice special on Tuesdays, which is awesome because you’ll get to try new tasty creations. I do event planning and have used them for catering quite a few times and always get rave reviews! I admit to being a bit of a snob when it comes to coffee and espresso, but they have won me over! Feel free to be very specific when you order so your drink will be just right. If you are looking for good, clean food, a hand-crafted coffee, and a nice, comfy environment then you don’t have to look any further. All this provided by sweet, caring, down-to-earth owners. What’s not to love?

Because Sulphur Springs has no Starbucks, this is basically the only other place you can get your coffee fix unless you are picking one up at a fast food chain or a gas station. I was pretty impressed with the coffee shop since I honestly wasn’t expecting much from a coffee shop in a small town. They offer daily breakfast and lunch specials but are closed in the evenings. Bummer. I’ve tried their Wednesday rib special for lunch. You can get either 2 or 3 ribs which I ordered the 2. They happened to give me 3, not sure if it’s because one of the ribs were small. Either way, the ribs were absolutely delicious. They were seasoned very well and were so incredibly tender. It comes with a side of cole slaw and beans which they ran out of the slaw the day I went so I substituted for a side of fruit. Sadly, the beans were the most bland beans I have ever had. Literally, it’s as if they cooked up the beans and didn’t even put a pinch of seasoning. I’ve heard the slaw is good though. They also have an array of coffee brews which I chose the Jazzy coffee(Jazzy java? Jazzy brew?). Wow. If you ever wanted to try black coffee but was scared to, this is seriously the best black coffee you will ever have. It tastes like they added sweetener or flavoring but nothing. It’s hard to describe, but just get it and you’ll thank me later.

After they sponsored a free local dental clinic, I thought we should finally make our way out here to try their food. We were very pleased with everything. I had their breakfast panini with smoked pork. The wife had a veggie panini. Both came with fruit. Both were excellent. We also ordered a chai latte which was good as well. We will be back!

Small and quaint with latte as good as or better than Starbucks. The panini’s and the pulled pork sandwich are winners for sure and I want to try the Cuban sandwich but only available on Fridays. Love being given a choice of fruit or chips as a side and the pickles are an added pleasure. Definitely worth a visit for lunch but have not had the breakfast experience as yet. This was a wonderful find with daily specials and I want to try all.

I have traveled the U.S. & Canada as a sales and marketing consultant for over 30 years. One of the benefits of all the travel is finding unique places like The Coffee Off The Square in the also unique city of Sulphur Springs, Texas. In addition to great coffees, fresh baked cookies and rolls and almond scones to die for their breakfast & lunches are extraordinary. They are just off one of the most picturesque Texas Court Houses on the square with the Veterans Walls. The Dairy Museum is another wonderful place to visit & it has an old fashion soda fountain with the best chocolate sodas in town.

Delicious breakfast! This is my second time here and is not my last! The owners are so sweet. I got the panini breakfast sandwich with bacon and omg-it’s to die for. I’m not a big omelet person but let me tell you-I tried a bite and it changed my life.

From out of town and the hotel coffee was terrible, so we went to check out this coffee house. It was amazing! I had a white chocolate latte, my kids had a chocolate milk and an almond milk, and my husband had a caramel latte. The lattes were amazing. Prices are similar to Starbucks but they taste better! We also tried their muffins. Yummy, fresh blueberry muffins(like just picked off the branch — fresh blueberries). Not only was the food great, but the staff(Crystal and Cory) were very nice. While we sat there, several locals seemed to come by for a coffee and were greeted by name. I can see why this place is so popular. We leave tomorrow, but will be stopping in before leaving for another cup of coffee!
