I decided to update my review since it has been a few years since my last one, and the carry out window has been separated from the indoor dining area-which is why I increased my rating. The ladies at the carry out have been consistently professional, accurate, and friendly over the years. I still haven’t gone back to dine in, because that’s not something I do in most PG Maryland restaurants, but I can certainly vouch for the to-go service.

Went to this Red Lobster yesterday. The greeter at the front«a young gentleman» was very nice, professional and attentive but my waitress. First the silverware was not clean, my Long Island ice tea had no color. When she brung it to the table I thought she mistakenly bring another glass of water. The side salad was sooooooo small. Not your usual side salad at Red Lobster. Then she’s talking directly in my food and drink. Then she comes back again talking to me while I was on a very important phone call. I was so annoyed that I didn’t want my food. I’ve been to the Waldorf location and it was a great experience from beginning to end. So what’s wrong with this place. It’s all your fault Beyoncé! It’s all your fault.

So I’m giving 2 stars simply because I’m sure the food will taste like Red Lobster. However, the customer service is lackluster. I’m actually sitting in the take-out area now and I’ve been here since 4:09pm. In that time, I’ve heard the young lady, Kayla, who works the register lament that she’s been by herself and that«you all need to wait because it’s a shift change.» I ask for the status of my order after 45 minutes because I’m assuming they’re short-staffed. She then says«this is too much.» The young lady comes back and tells me that there’s a wait for my pasta because the order was put in wrong. She’s clearly frustrated and I asked for a manager. Now, in the business’s defense, the young lady, Lachelle, who took over the evening shift for the take-out area clearly has a better system. She knew quite a few of the customers by name and they responded well to her. So here comes the manager, Genesis, whom I ask if they are short-staffed. Her response: «why would you ask that?» So that was an odd response. I explain to her what occurred. She looks very blankly and says«well it’s a Friday and we are packed.» Now that would have been fine if I had been told that the wait time was over an hour. Allow me to decide as the customer if i choose to stay. I told Genesis that she was very dismissive to which she walked away. It’s 5:10pm and I am now getting my food. Note to management: schedule your staff accordingly. Everyone can’t work the take-out window and everyone can’t work on the weekends.

I like this spot. The usually have good deals. Tonight they must have had a manager they could walk over because an hour before they closed the dirty tables outnumbered the servers who were actually working the bar was filthy and when a female manager and two other employees clean one small table. The majority of the servers there stood around looking at us(the people waiting to be sat down) they looked dirty from the outside to the inside. I went to TGI Fridays.

The last time I went to this Red Lobster in Camp Springs, MD was at least 7 or 8 years ago. And after reading the last 5 to 6 reviews I haven’t missed a thing. TERRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICESTILL. There’re only three Red Lobster places I will dine: Annapolis, MD, Waldorf, MD& Alexandria, VA. They all give great service. How do I make the Red Lobster in Camp Springs a negative Star?

At this Red Lobster you will find all the signature drinks and food on the menu at the correct price. However, what you won’t find is good customer service. The location receives a steady flow of business because it is near the Branch Avenue metro and off route 5 towards Waldorf, Md. The food will be hot, but the taste is just okay but never good. But at least the service equally coincides with the food. The staff has a lackluster attitude from the moment you walk I the door. There will be no formal greeting like«Hello Welcome to Red Lobster». Forget it. If you decide to visit this locating please bring a good book, your smartphone or a friend to divert your attention from being ignored, left unattended and unchecked for several moments. People will still continue to patronize this restaurant because of its ideal location despite all its negative reviews.

My Order: Chicken PROS: — Right across the street from work! — Fast, friendly service. Fills water without even asking, what more could you ask for? — Unlimited amount of delicious bread rolls that keep me coming back to Red Lobster. I low-key crave for them buns ;) — Affordable lunch deals CONS: — Overpriced lobstah! — Higher priced dinner items for not as good quality that you should expect with the amount you paid for

I am completely outraged with the service I have received today at the Suitland, MD location. I arrived to the restaurant alone to begin waiting for my family, I was told the wait would be about 20 mins. My family arrived about 25 minutes later, and I was told that the wait would be another 40 mins. After 40 mins my buzzer rang, when we proceeded to the desk, I was told that it was a mistake and that we needed to return to our seats. We had now been waiting for over an hour and 25 minutes. I asked to speak with a manager, and was told that she did not have time to attend to us. I am shocked at how rude the manager was to loyal customers. I attend this location weekly, and will never be returning. The corporate office really needs to look into how this location is being ran.

The food was«OK». Bit the service was HORRIBLE! They wouldn’t take care of me, or atleast thats how it seemed. My waitress wasn’t very verbal with, kinda short and dry and would put me last on everything. People that came after me got their food and bread even though I kept asking. I won’t be coming back.

Poor poor poor poor customer service. How is it remotely possible to have a 40 minute wait with an empty restaurant and 2 couples waiting to be seated. The answer«You don’t want to overwhelm the wait staff» if that’s the case just tell they stay home and pay them for doing nothing. Then that smug condensing look from who appears to be the head hostess. You may get away with this now but things in this area will eventually change and this will not be tolerated. Either get it together and start printing up your«Out of business» signs. Never again. I have choices where to spend my money.

Just a few days ago, my boyfriend and I visted this Red Lobster. The Host informed us of a 20min wait but said we could sit at the bar to get quicker service. We sat at the bar and waited nine minutes before a bartender or anyone else for that matter came to greet us and take or food or drink orders. Whilst waiting we noticed that several booths and table were empty and clean so not sure why we couldnt get a table anyhow. After the bartender finally came around, she walks up smacking her gum, with an unhappy nonchalant attitude. She asks us for our drinks(me a water and the boyfriend iced tea) then she asks us for our ids as were in the bar area. I’m from Virginia and although im 23 years old my license is still vertical and doesn’t expire for another few yrs. Due to this she tells us she can’t accept my id, so we’ll have to move to a general dining area. I’ve had my id turned down in Maryland for alcohol often so thats why I ordered a water. However I’ve never had any issues sitting at or in the bar area because I was over 18 even if they wouldn’t serve me alcohol. Needless to say, my boyfriend was livid and decided to leave altogther rather than have to wait an additional 20min for a table after the poor wait we already had. Wouldn’t have been a problem if we hadnt waited all that long just to be told we couldn’t sit there. Can’t say I blame him, and it looks like we won’t be visiting again.

Foods are as usual. Red lobster has been always one of my favorite Resturant. But in this one, foods are ok. It took 25 min to get a table(so busy) But service is not great. Ordered ultimate feast, wood grilled lobster and salmon. Took forever to bring. Only the taste melted us when we were getting almost out of patience.

If I had my way I wouldn’t give this place any stars, but unfortunately Unilocal is making me. On March 14, 2015, my cousin was having a birthday dinner here. Her reservation was set for 9:00 and they didn’t sit us until after 9:20, we waited over 40 minutes for bread and water and our orders weren’t taken until close to 10 pm and food was served until close to 11 pm which caused several people in our party to leave. The waiter was extremely unprofessional. My cousin’s daughter ended up in tears because all she wanted was some pasta(which the waiter told us we didn’t order). We asked for a manager who clearly wasn’t taught to deal with situations like this because as we began to complain, he turned around and walked away stating that«you are getting loud». Well sir, you would get loud too if you were pregnant you were hungry and it took someone over an hour to bring you bread and water. I told him the food should be free and he stated«that’s not going to happen, but you can get an adjusted bill». For what??? Bread and water? The second manager who came out was a woman, Courtney was her name I believe and while she tried to resolve the situation she was just as unprofessional. She claimed that different managers have different tolerance levels and in turn I responded«well they shouldn’t be a manager then». As a manager you should be able to handle any situation. She insisted that we stay and eat, but at that point everyone wanted to go home. So everyone was given to-go boxes for their food and they insisted on trying to charge us. By the end of it all the food ended up being free, but I feel it was only an effort to keep us from proceeding with contacting their corporate office or even putting a review on Unilocal… well not going to happen. NEVER and I repeat, NEVERGOTOTHISREDLOBSTER! We didn’t even receive and apology for such poor customer service. They need to hire all new staff and actually get some managers who won’t let things like this happen.

Okay wow! Where do I begin? I have to crack my knuckles for this one because a LIST of things went wrong. My girlfriend and I showed up at this Red Lobster on the night of March 14th, 2015 at about 10pm at the request of my sister who was having a birthday celebration gathering. Due to a tire situation we arrived an hour late. My girlfriend and I walk in and there is no one standing there to greet or seat us. We stand there waiting as various staff members just look at us and stare without even a smile or a «someone will be with you shortly«or anything. EVENTUALLY a guy comes up to the host stand to greet us and I ask about my party. He swiffles the floor the whole time while talking to us.smh.He can’t identify that table off the name I gave him, not totally his fault, mind you, but after a quick phone call I find out my sister and family are still there. I immediately go to the restroom first before meeting them and this is where the second problem arises. The restroom is nasty. It looks like it hasn’t been touched, let alone even made tidy in hours. There are used paper towels strewn everywhere. Not a good look. Eventually my girlfriend and I make our way to the table. My sister and her group had all been seated at least 40 minutes before we arrived and there were still menus on the table. No one’s order had been taken! My sister informed me that they had waited at least a half hour just for bread and water. The waiter comes at around 10. He seems completely sedated and uninterested. There are 15 people seated and he takes 5 of our orders at the time and then walks away without taking the orders of the other 10 people because he «couldn’t the get the attention» of everyone else that was seated as my sister overheard him saying but he did come back a few minutes later to take the rest of the orders. I order beers and some side orders which take a half hour to come with the appetizers that the first five of us ordered. Now we are approaching 11:00pm –a full two hours after our group had arrived for our reservation and no one’s entrées have been served. At this point people aren’t even interested in eating anymore. Everyone is frustated. Some of the entrees start showing up but the orders are flubbed. At this point people are BEYOND frustrated. A disagreement with the waiter ensues over the pasta that my neice so clearly had ordered loud enough for the entire restaurant to hear which the waiter claims we did not order at all. So we wait some more. My niece is crying at this point. There are two pregnant women in our party that haven’t even been served. A guy«manager» comes out and says nothing as we voice our concerns and then leaves the table because people are upset which we clearly have grounds to be. He had no inkling of diplomacy or even a bit of compassion. Then a woman manager eventually comes out who I assume is the head manager or whatever. We voice our concerns to her. She actually listens but all she can do at this point is offer boxes for the food that came late or was yet to come because people just want this horrible night to be over with. The service was SO bad that the restaurant had no choice but to eat our bill that night. I will never INLIFE go to another Red Lobster again. The highlight of the night was a completely random woman server asking us to have a nice night with a smile and the polite plains clothes cop waiting conspicuously by the door as we left. SMH…0 stars. Never again. And the restaurant is actually on Auth Way. Why anyone would want to go here after what I described is beyond my comprehension but if you put Auth Rd. in the GPS you might not find it. As far as I’m concerned you’d be lucky. P. S. only one star because apparently Unilocal is forcing me to. *shrugs*

My server Myriah was excellent! I’ve never been to this location before and BOY were they busy. She made the wait pleasant though, constantly checking to make sure I was OK. Drink was STRONG and food was hot. She was very personable and attentive. I had a stressful day before I came here so the drink and her friendly personality was right on time! I spoke to her manager to let them know what a great experience I had here. I will return!

Cheddar Bay Biscuits were hard & cold!!! Craving the fast food of the sea I decided to stop into Red Lobster on Saturday December 20th, 2014. My waitress was unbothered by anything we had to say – almost like she wasn’t even there, and the food was average. I was however disappointed in the Biscuits which is one of my favorite reasons to come. I don’t visit this location much but will be doing my best to avoid them

I’m never too good for a cheddar bay biscuit. But after my last visit to this Red Lobster, I have decided that I’m going to keep my bougie butt out of Red Lobster, especially ones in questionable neighborhoods. I was already skeptical about going to this Red Lobster because its service is hit or miss. But I decided to bite the bullet and went. I should have listened to my gut. I highly advise that you DONOT go to this Red Lobster. I’m 99.9% sure that my credit card information was stolen at this restaurant when I visited in December 2013. Actually, my entire party’s card information was stolen and the main connection was the fact that we were all together at THIS Rob Lobster. TRUSTME! DOYOURSELF A FAVORANDDONOTSTEPFOOTINTHISPLACE!
