have enjoyed this restaurant in the past however today was not a good experience. the linguica was slightly burnt and no flavor also, the bacon was slightly over cooked. we should have said something but we didn’t“t, our fault. didn’t feel very welcomed. oh well live and learn. visiting family will not go again.

Love this place. My family and I have been coming here for what seems like forever. Get here early most days and the wait is reasonable, come here after 9 on the weekends and you could be outside for quite a while. Cool thing is you can pour yourself a cup of coffee while you wait. The waiters and cooks alike here are fast and very attentive which allows them to turn over tables at an incredible rate. The food here is always solid and you will not be left wanting because the portions are pretty formidable. This place is a staple in the Suisun community and one can only hope it remains that way for generations to come. This is a classic breakfast /lunch joint that reminds me of a time long past and belongs on diners, drive ins and dives. Try the fried rice with your breakfast instead of potatoes. I can tell you as a Filipino American fried rice is a breakfast staple for our culture albeit the garlic kind. Somehow this American breakfast restaurant pulls off a fried rice that is seemingly better than any Chinese restaurant around… strange yet it’s just soo good!

BESTBREAKFASTAROUND. great tasting, generous portions, good service, but due to it’s popularity, be prepared to wait for a table. Friendly and fun with good location.

Love breakfast at Babs especially because it’s on the waterfront in Suisun. It’s good and wholesome American breakfast which you can’t complain. The price is moderate and portions are good as well as parking.

It’s been a while since we’ve been here — it’s definitely not the same. Service and food was not great today. Got here early(7:00 am) to beat the crowds — still didn’t enjoy the experience.

When no ordinary breakfast will do, go see Ben & Joseph Bab’s Diner they will make sure you are taken care of. There service is outstanding & the food even better, you will not leave unhappy. Bab’s has a loyal customer when extra & outstanding breakfast is wanted!

A local treasure. Situated on the Suisun City waterfront, you can get a patio table within feet of the water with great views of the boats. A great breakfast selection– plenty of meat choices, home fries or fried rice, giant flapjacks. They have a great chicken-fried steak too. Great friendly staff. A bit of a wait sometimes, but well worth it.

I tried Bab’s for the first time for a work meeting and wasn’t disappointed. I’ve been hearing good things about it for years and I’m glad I finally got to try it. Everything is real and authentic and… well just good. They serve fried rice with the breakfast which I think is kind of weird but a lot of people really like it. I always get the corn beef hash. It is phenomenal. They have friendly service and a very casual atmosphere. It’s small and noisy but worth it. It tends to be packed on weekends so be prepared to wait a bit… or go during the week. I haven’t had anything but their breakfast there but based on that everything else has to be good. If you haven’t tried them out, whattya waitin’ for?

First time I have been here and it was a great experience! Should have come here a long time ago! There was four in our party, my Hubby, our two grown daughters and myself. SERVICE: Ben our waiter was AWESOME! He was on it from the second we sat down, and it was super busy today. He got our drinks to us right away and gave great advice on the food. He even gave us a little history on Bab herself. Our drinks never went empty and he removed garbage(empty coffee creamers and sugar packets) right away. He was super attentive to all our needs but at the same time not overbearing. He was very polite and easy to talk to. FOOD: The food was wonderful! It was so good we were giving eachother a bite of our food to try. All of our plates were on point! –I ordered a breakfast meal with boneless pork chops, two eggs over medium, fried rice and rye toast… I recommend this meal to anyone! Very tasty and filling. I thought it would only be one pork chop and it came with two. –My husband ordered two blueberry pancakes that were huge(the size of a large dinner plate)! He also had cheese eggs and sausage links. He said it was super good! –Daughter ordered french toast, cheese eggs(Ben caught that they forgot the chesse on her eggs before he brought the plate out and had the cook fix it) and bacon… The french toast was amazing! I would definitely order it on one of our next visits. My daughter loved it. –Daughter ordered sausage, over medium eggs, potatoes and a pancake. She said her food was great. The portions were huge and we all took leftovers home! ATMOSPHERE: All the employees had a smile on their face and were very friendly even though it was super busy. Loved the vintage decorations and the tables were a nice size didn’t feel squeezed in. THEVIEWISAMAZING… RIGHTONTHEWATERFRONT! If my husband would have had his jacket we would have eaten outside to enjoy the scenery even more. PRICES: Great prices for the quantity and quality of food you get! My first visit was excellent! I loved coming here early morning before work. It’s right near the marina. Everybody is so nice here. I am a returning customer and hope to have all my family and friends enjoy breakfast here one day with me because this is the best breakfast in town!

I’m writing this review explaining the to go experience. Never got a chance to enjoy a meal inside the place, but I have came here this being my second time to order a to go dish and the quality of food is all that matters. No matter if it’s to go or if I was inside. LOCATION: It’s in a really beautiful location near the Suisun– Fairfield Marina. FOOD: I know ordered to go, but that doesn’t mean the food quality shouldn’t be as good as if I was eating inside the restaurant. First off we orders a Corn beef hash with a OVERHARDEGG, the egg was not OVERHARD and there was some egg shells in it. How do you have a egg shell in a over hard egg? Makes no sense. This had the be the worst breakfast burrito I’ve ever tasted. I asked for light cheese several times and yet I still got a very cheesy burrito: cheese on both sides of the burrito as well as in the middle of the burrito. While I also ordered 2 hot cakes, both hot cakes edges were not cooked fully through and don’t get me started on the fried rice! I’m not sure if I recommend eating inside the restaurant, but I definitely DONOT recommend ordering To Go dishes!

Love Babs… it gets busy, so be prepared to wait … but it’s worth it. Food: Filling and yummy… LOVE the Cornbeef HASH, great pancakes, good chicken friend steak and eggs… the Rod Special(cornbeef hash, poached eggs, with cheese is yummy, but I’m a simplist and like just the cornbeef hash… you can switch your potatoes for fried rice which is good(the waiter brings up soy sauce too lol they must get a lot of us asians and filipinos there asking bout lol)…they give you a choice for the potatoes with onions(go for it grilled it adds a nice flavor) Service: EXCELLENT everyone there is friendly and our waiter/waitress is always ready to fill up your coffee/drinks and check on you. Location: by the water so if it’s a nice day cool to see the boats and waterfront(it’s suisun not like you’ll get blown away like the bay but still better then the parking lot right?) Great place, good people, good food… TRYIT!

My favorite Sunday brunch spot when I go back home! Their corn beef hash breakfast combo is to die for! I also like their linguica breakfast combo too. The whole menu is just mouthwatering. I love this place, but so does everyone else on a Sunday morning after church, so be prepared to wait a good 25 – 45 mins to get seated. But trust me, it’s worth it! The meals are fairly priced, and the portions are huge. You can leave spending about $ 9, with enough leftovers for one or sometimes even two more meals! This place is family owned, and the staff is super sweet and accommodating. Last time I went it was even customer appreciation day, and they were passing out flowers and entering guests into a free raffle

Their corned beef hash is probably the best I’ve ever had. Their fried rice is amazing as well. If you order pancakes, I suggest sharing because their portions are huge. Their prices are reasonable and their customer service is awesome. You have the option of sitting inside or outside. It can get a little busy so I would come early. It definitely has a home diner type feel.

I’ve been to Bab’s numerous times and have never had a bad meal. The servers are really nice and they always make sure my water and coffee is filled. The only negatives are that there is usually a wait to be seated if you arrive anytime after 9:30 am on a weekend, and that they are closed on Mondays. My go-to order is the DJ’s Omelet(spinach, sausage and swiss cheese) with the fried rice instead of potatoes and green onions on top. Don’t get me wrong though, the potatoes at Bab’s are good too. Also, try their cinnamon raisin toast sometime. It’s delicious! Mmmm…

We’ve been coming to Babs for years, as it has delicious food, good coffee, and a nice view! It’s situated right by the docks at the Suisun Marina, so you can people watch and watch the ducks swim by as you enjoy your breakfast/brunch. Since the restaurant inside is somewhat cozy(they have another small eating area outside), you might end up waiting a long time for a seat if you come on a crowded Sunday morning. But don’t fret, because the food is worth the wait. Speaking of food. CORNEDBEEFHASH. Need I say more? It’s not the corned beef hash out of the can; it’s real homemade hash, served with your choice of country potatoes or fried rice, toast or a pancake, and eggs made any way. Soooo good and so filling for breakfast! I always have some leftovers for later since their portions are so large! One amusing thing we noticed on our last trip there was the refills on coffee. We all ordered coffee as soon as we sat down, and the whole time we were there, the waiters probably asked us at least once every 5min if we needed a refill. We probably drank 2 – 3 cups of coffee just from all the refills! :P

I have been coming to Bab’s ever since I could walk and I only have pleasant and delicious memories. I went today again and it was just as good as I can remember! Food: I started off with one of their delicious cinnamon rolls(warmed up with butter). It was delicious(it could have been more moist – but then again, I came to eat breakfast at 1pm… not right after they were freshly baked). For breakfast, I had«Rod’s Special” – corn beef hash and cheddar cheese, 2 poached eggs on top with potatoes and toast. This was a great choice. It had great flavor, hot, and everything I could’ve wanted in a delicious breakfast. Everything I have had there in the past has been spot on too from waffles, to pancakes, to eggs, bacon and toast, omelettes… everything. Service: The service was fantastic. Our server was very nice, helpful, and was always there to refill coffee or water, or manicure things off of the table. Environment: we sat on the patio today which has a great view of the water and boats nearby. It was a lovely day and definitely a great day to sit on the patio. The inside of the restaurant has great character as well and is quite cozy. Tips: Be a little prepared to wait if you are coming in the late morning or afternoon on a weekend day. It is worth it though because the view is great and you can just be outside enjoying the scenery with the coffee they allow you to start drinking right away as you’re waiting. Overall, an excellent breakfast/lunch choice and I will continue to come here whenever I can! I highly suggest it for others.
