This place is a must visit during your Amish country trip. The property is beautiful, friendly staff, and very cute/friendly animals. If you want to get up close and personal with the animals take the wagon ride for an additional cost of $ 5.00. The wagon stops often so that you can feed the animals and take photos. The staff is very knowledgeable so don’t be afraid to ask questions. This place is lots of fun for children and adults who are still children at heart so pay them a visit when you’re in town, I’m sure it will be worth your time and money. You may want to make a picnic out of this trip so pack lunch if time allows. Enjoy!

This was so fun. Much better than any zoo(other than the San Diego zoo). I cannot believe I was feeding and petting zebras and giraffes out of my car window/sunroof! The ostriches and llamas made us laugh the whole time. They would seem to appear out of no where to get more food while we were feeding other animals. The grounds were beautiful and the tours of the amish homes at the end were really neat as well. Cant wait to go back again on our next trip.

I absolutely love the farm at walnut creek! The animals are so friendly and just getting to feed and pet the Giraffes is worth it! Bring cash and ride the wagon as the animals are used to it and some are really huge and you don’t want near your car! Plus you can get to the giraffes easier! Their sleigh rides in the winter are so romantic! Take your honey!

The Farm was well worth the effort getting there(we traveled two hours) and the price of admission. The Amish homes were fascinating, and the landscaping was tremendous. However, the main attraction is the mass of wild animals(500+) that essentially run free on the 118 acre property. I highly recommend taking the $ 5 wagon ride(otherwise you have to travel through in your car). On the wagon ride, you’ll get feed that will attract the animals to the wagon where you can feed them out of your hand. All of the animals are great to see and touch up close, but the giraffes are probably the most breathtaking. They dip their necks over top of your wagon and feed out of your hands, and they are huge. I never thought I would ever be that close to a giraffe. In that respect, «The Farm» is much better than a zoo.
