Things Remembered

Let’s first start with, don’t ever come here ordering something for a party to be «remembered» I had ordered a signing portrait for my graduation so that people could sign it as they come. This had cost basically 80 $ together not including the discounts. I had ordered it a month in advance and as the date was coming closer for my graduation I had kept calling and coming in. Every. Single. Time. I called or came in they would say «it should be in today» or «I have just ordered it from another store» «I’m positive it’s going to come in» a bunch of bullshit just to get you off the phone and take your money. I had ordered this item in store in the first week of May. Here it is June 2 and I just got my refund back for the item I had never received HA HA. When I came in the lady, Liza, had already knew, «oh yeah, I don’t know what was wrong with this, we just never placed the order» complete bullshit. I called every single day for 2 weeks and just never ended getting it for my graduation. If you ever want something special for someone don’t ever come to this place. If I was able to give it no stars that is what it deserves. Don’t ever work with the man who made my order, Wesley. Or basically this store in general. I will never come to this place again because of this. Taking your money so they can meet a certain requirement for the day. Lol idiots

I wasn’t impressed at all with the customer service at this location. I walked in rushing to find a wedding gift and to my surprise there was no one to actually greet me or assist me… I’ve never had this probkem. before at the Memorial location so why here?..
The woman working there at the time was in no mood to even help or put an attempt to actually help guide me in the right direction. Aside from that I love the items in the store. I found it easy to find each section that correlates to the occasion your searching for. It is still nice when you actually get recommendations or an opinion of what would be best to purchase.
I recommend some improvement on customer service here. The store was well kept, I always enjoy looking at the new items that come in every season.

I am really not sure how to rate this place because I have had bad and good service here, so I am kind of in between. What I do know is, they need to hire a few more people cause it looks like they are pretty short handed. Well, I went in there on 4÷22÷2014 around 1PM to purchase a necklace and get it engraved for a b day present. The lady was in there was very nice and did as much as she could for me because she was the only person there and she was pretty busy. So… my necklace was going to take about 2 hours to be done, I told her I got off at 5PM and I will be back to pick it up. She said ok, it will be ready. I went back up there about 5:30 and it still was not ready! I had to wait an additional 30mins plus before it was done. The engraver lady did not even start on it. She was not even in the store, someone had to go get her. The end result was great, I loved my product. My only concern was that the dog tag chain was very long but she told me that I was able to cut it. I get home, gave the gift to my loved one and we were unsuccessful on cutting the chain. It was just to thick. A week later, I go back to the store so they can cut it or just give me another chain. Ugh!!! I walk in and the manger is on the phone and gives me the one moment finger. Ok, cool… I stood there for 15min until i just walked out. The nice lady from Spencers cut the chain for me at no cost! Nice place and all but I want them to get more coverage so clients don’t have to wait so long.

Today was my second recent shopping trip to this bastion of personalized keepsakes. I had shopped this chain many years ago, I believe in Sharpstown Mall, and the incredible plethora of choices today versus then, is fantastic. I first went in search of something for my parent’s fiftieth wedding anniversary. I settled on a abalone clock/​silver frame combo. Today I went in just for fun to show an out of town friend the great jewelry and keepsake choices. We ended up buying small blinged out flasks we had engraved for ‘night’s out’ that were on sale. They were only $ 25. each plus a reasonable engraving cost. I also found a great pave’ floral keychain with a charm I had engraved with my name and phone number. Because my friend is flying out tomorrow, I asked if they could possibly have her flask engraved before closing. They not only did so within half an hour, they had my items done even though I told them I would be happy to come back tomorrow for them. I was so impressed with both Wendy and Aisha’s kind help, that I know I’ll be back. They also have a customer card for a nominal fee that earns you points and coupons based on purchases! With everything from frames, boxes, clocks, jewelry, trophies, i-​pad accessories, wine glasses, and yes, even flasks, this is a great place to buy gifts for all your celebrations and occasions.
