One word, disappointing. I’ve been here 3 times now. This place is pretty dirty and looks like it needs a good cleaning. Drinks take way too long to be made. Tapioca is somehow both chewy AND dry. I love teahouses, but I’ll be sure to drive the extra couple miles to choose another one next time.

As this location is no longer part of the Tea House brand, this location has gone down hill. Other Tea House locations normally would have two –three employees on staff at all time, this one is always under staffed. Service is super slow, be ready to wait 10 mins for drink.

Absolutely one of the worst experiences I’ve had at any place! An old man(assuming he’s the owner of the establishment. I think his name was Tito) was being super disrespectful to all of the customers. My friend had his feet on a table, and old dude came over and tapped his feet and told him rather rudely to get his feet off the table, and then proceeded to talk about him in front of him to one of the employees on break saying something about«you work here, man. you can’t let these people put their feet on the table.» loud enough for everyone in the building to hear and turn around. Then, their signs say they close at 11 on Sundays, and myself and my friend were the only 2 people in the restaurant, and when it was 10:00, old guy started locking the doors and told us to leave because on Sundays they close at 10:00? OH… Then he proceeded to go off on me for laying on a couch. He said, «Can you sit right please? This is not your living room! You two come in here, use our internet, and trash the place(referring to our straw packets that were on the table next to our cups). I don’t appreciate the way you come in here and sit.» He then proceeded to tell us something along the lines of «go somewhere else! we don’t need your business!» I *WAS a regular customer, but honestly, if that’s the way this guy thinks he should talk to customers, I’d rather not spend my money there. Absolutely disgusting.

It hasn’t improved much in the 2 years I haven’t been. At least the boba isnt crunchy anymore. I probably won’t be back for another two years. The cashier was an older guy(manager? Owner?), and he was trying to explain to me something that I didn’t ask about, and it was weird. Anyway they have a points program with your phone number but I don’t go often enough to know what you get or how many points you need. It does have a convenient location for people living in Sugar Land, and I like that it opens until midnight on the weekends. Good for the young people.

A decent place to hang out with friends. Their tapioca is sub-par compared to other Tea House locations and other bubble tea stores nearby, such as Dulce’s. The smoothies can be quite grainy and artificial. The tapioca balls are not soft and chewy but firm as if still half frozen. Nonetheless, the couch and board games available make it a suitable location to meet up, especially if you are younger. The quality of the games though, is deteriorating, so I would recommend you visit Dulce’s, which has some board games in nicer condition and better tapioca.

Went here because dulce closes early and we were already at thai cottage next door… And I don’t get what all the negative reviews are for? It seems like a cute place to hang out… The service was just fine and I actually really enjoyed my thai tea. They even bring your order out to the table which is so nice of them… And their serving size is pretty huge! Will go back if I’m in the area!

Don’t know why this place only has two stars. Always pretty quick and friendly service. My go-to is a green tea almond cream blend with baby tapioca. Have been here about 10 times, and its consistently good, except for once when my lychee slurpee was more ice than anything else and the tapioca in my cream blend was all stuck together, so wouldnt transfer through the straw. They have a rewards program, buy 10 drinks get one free. A nice addition. Will be back … tonight.

just left this place and I’m really disappointed in the customer service or better put lack thereof. The supposed«manager» Andre was extremely rude, demeaning, and unprofessional. After my friend ordered a drink and found that it wasn’t blended properly and didn’t taste right he asked if they could make him a new or blend the one he had more. Andre sarcastically remarked«no but you can buy a new one». When we asked to speak to a manager he said«I am the manager, and you can still buy a new one». Not sure how he got into a management position with this attitude and I’m hoping the owners will be disappointed to hear about how this situation was dealt with. Giving it 2 stars because the tapioca was good. Would not come back. Dulce tapioca is my go to in sugar land now.

To be honest, if I was desperate I wouldn’t even get a drink from here. The only thing I really like about this tea house is the ambiance inside and how they have events that involve the community like talent shows and such. The drinks are poorly made. The past few times I’ve came, the boba was hard and I had to spit them out. The drinks usually taste powdery too as if they didn’t even blend it enough.

En route to my friend’s house for my last night in Houston, my group decided we needed a caffeine hit, and Teahouse and Coffee Tapioca Bar came at the recommendation of a friend that lives in the area. I ordered the hot mocha coffee which really hit the spot; providing a nice mocha flavor yet still not overpowering the drink overall. Tip: Adding a little sugar and a dash of cinnamon really enhanced this coffee’s flavor. Scanning the display case I spotted some of the pastries, and the black bottom muffins caught my eye. A combination of choclolate, and what tasted like vanilla cake, the muffin was good considering it was close to closing time on a Sunday night(meaning it was probably in the display case most of the time). Service was quick and efficient. Décor was typical café/teahouse a la Starbucks.

Went there yesterday for some bubble tea. Usually they have good service and pretty decent teas but the service yesterday was beyond shitty. Asked for a passion fruit black tea, they made it without ice so the drink was warm. Asked the guy who was working behind the counter for napkins to which he replied«umm yeah(looks around him) sureeeeee if I can find any». I waited for him to go get the napkins after which he did not hand it to me but he stuck them in the napkin holder. What kind of customer service is that? Will never go back there again. Worst location ever!!!

This place has the worst service and drinks possible. I can’t believe they are still in business. The guy working there had no clue what he was doing. I asked him for some napkins. His reply«uhhh well if I can find any». I tried the tea house on hwy 6 by Lexington. It’s awesome.

Atmosphere matches the drinks. Comfy cozy and quaint. The décor is very homey free wifi so a nice place to study/write and Relax. Good for groups or single patronage. I got the jasmine green tea with tapioca which was very tasty ! Staff could be more friendly and quicker service would be appreciated. I had to wait almost 8 mins to order(I was the only one in line). Other than that, great experience

Service was mediocre at best but my tea was absolutely terrible. I got the pudding cream tea with tapioca. The tea itself is a strange flavor and tasted more like almond cream than tea. The tapioca was not fully cooked at all. The pearls are supposed to be chewy and delectable whilst these were hard. The pudding was weird all together. Did not have texture like pudding at all. I had a taste of everyone else’s drinks in my group. The taro is okay, it’s just taro. But the piña colada is what I really enjoyed. If only they cooked the tapioca. The place itself is charming. Meant for studying students and the like. Unfortunately I will not be coming back.

Probably should’ve Unilocaled this place before I decide to just randomly try a tapioca place nearby. I ordered the tapioca with pudding in green tea w/cream. Tapioca balls were small and hard, obviously not freshly made(not to mention they probably gave one little teaspoon of tapioca). Barely any pudding. Tea had no taste, I actually felt as if I was drinking a cup of milk. Any other option would’ve been better than this place, but there main saving grace is really their location for people to work and study.

I have been to this location twice. The first visit I got a vanilla cappuccino with tapioca and a coffee slurpee. The coffee slurpee was very delicious but it was strong. I felt like I was twitching for days after that one and I only had a few sips. My drink was delicious. The coffee and vanilla really balanced each other out. It was a tiny bit sweet but wasn’t too overbearing. The tapioca was chewy but tasteless. So tapioca is very pointless to me. So why two stars? The drinks aren’t the problem here(at least the few I have had). The individuals who are hired to make your drinks are the problem. Asking questions about the menu are met with short retorts and side-eyed looks. You almost feel apologetic for arriving to their job and ordering something off of their menu. They don’t want to talk with you. They don’t want to help you. They don’t want to answer questions or offer suggestions. Maybe I arrived on a bad day? Second visit… The second time around I wanted to give them a shot because I felt like one experience isn’t enough to judge a business. This time around I ordered the avocado coffee cream blend. It was amazing. The perfect balance of avocado and coffee. Sweet and creamy. Unfortunately, their service continues to leave a bad taste in my mouth. They continued the same trend from the previous trip. So I have concluded that they are just a bunch of jerks who make decent drinks. Sis, you tried it. Bye Felicia. tl;dr Decent drinks. Terrible people. GIF Visual:

The location is great, I suspect that’s why it attracts so many people. The hours are also extended later, so there is one more place to go in Sugar Land past 10 pm. The interior is pretty nice; there are card/board games so one does not become too bored if talking is no longer interesting. There is out door seating. However, those areas are mainly dominated by hookah smokers later in the evening. Not sure when this became a «thing» at this store, but in the last couple of years, there has always been hookah outside the shop past 9. The drinks are alright. Nothing too amazing. It is more on the pricy end for tapioca drinks. I guess once in awhile isn’t too much to ask for. If the pricing was lower, I would come more often, but I guess most people are willing to spend that amount on a drink since many people are usually at the store. It may be difficult to find seats inside. It’s a hit-or-miss depending on how many people are there.
